Performance Analysis of the Tracking Filter for a Maneuvering Target of Poisson-Type Subject To System Modeling Error (Poisson-Type 기동표적의 시스템 모델링 오류에 대한 추적 필터의 성능 해석)

  • Recently Lim has proposed a linear, recursive, unbiased minimum variance filter for a maneuvering target based on the maneuver dynamics modeled as a jump process of Poisson-type. In the proposed filter it was assumed that the state transition parameters of the jump used for target maneuver modeling are a priori known to the filter. However, in most cases they are not known in practice. In this paper, we consider the influence of system (target) modeling error on the performance of the proposed tracking filter arising from the maneuver tracking. For qualitative analysis Monte-Carlo simulations are carried out against employing the maneuver model with different state transition parameters from the actual values.

  • The performance simulation program on the turboprop engine(PT6A-62), which is a main engine of the first trainer KT-1 in republic of Korea, was developed. Characteristics of engine components were required for the steady-state performance analysis including on and off design point analysis. In most cases, these were substituted for what scaled from well known engine components characteristics with the scaling law. The developed program was compared with CASTURB program which is well known for the simulation performance analysis, such as analysis results of mass flow rate, compressor pressure ratio, fuel flow rate, power, specific fuel consumption ratio and turbine inlet temperature in the following four cases, to evaluate whether the developed program is acceptable or not. The first case was the sea level static standard condition and other cases were considered with various flight Mach numbers, altitudes. After verifying the developed program, the partload performance analysis was carried out. Transient performance analysis for various fuel schedules were performed. When the fuel step increase of 0.1sec was performed, the overshoot of the compressor turbine inlet temperature occurred. However, the fuel ramp increase for longer than 0.1sec time was performed, the overshoot could be eliminated.

  • 본 논문에서는 입력 신호인 정현파의 위상을 PGZC(positive going zero corssing)에 대해 한주기당 2회씩 추적하도록 하는 디지털 위상도기 회로(DPLL)을 제시한다. 제시된 루루프는 한 주기당 2번의 표본화를 갖도록 함으로써 한 주기당 하나의 표본을 취하는 기존의 DPLLqhek 정상 상태에서의 위상오차 변동범위가 전체적으로 1/2로 감소되었고, 연속 표본들간의 오차와 양자화 준위의 선택에 따라서 루우프의 천이 응답이 좋아짐을 알 수 있었다. 그 해석적 결과를 실제적으로 요구되는 조건류에 대하여 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 행함으로써 검증하였다.

  • In this paper. for $\pi$/4 and $\pi$/8 PSK. we proposed to condition to obtain coding gain increasing states, by design encoder of analytical method with minimal complexity in limited bandwidth and power channels. In order to improve the bit error rate(BER), comparing Ungerboeck designed the TCM. we propose MTCM(Multiple trellis-coded modulation) with multiplicity(k=2), by optimum encoder design. By design encoder of analytical method. the trellis encoder can be minimal complexity and the decoder be used Viterbi decoder(MLSE). When compared to the TCM and MTCM with AWGN channels. the condition of performance enhancement of the MTCM with multiplicity(k=2) is the case of parallel transition in TCM systems. without alternating data transmission rate in bandwidth and power limited channels.

  • It has been studied over the long time for the high efficiency and high power density of the power converter. It is possible to obtain higher power conversion efficiency and small volume by increasing switching frequency, however, the switching loss is also increased. The soft switching technique can overcome of the above deficiency. The design and analysis method for ZVS(Zero Voltage Switching) Phase Shifte Full bridge converter is presented in this paper. The power transfer depends on the phase difference between two legs of the power stage and the maximum power conversion efficiency is achieved by the optimum leakage inductance value. The waveform of the current and voltage of the operational mode is analysed and the corresponding switch status is plotted as on/off status. A ZVS full bridge converter for a communication rectifier with 2kW output power is implemented and its performance are verified through PSIM software simulation and experimental results.

REAL - TIME ORBIT DETERMINATION OF LOW EARTH ORBIT SATELLITES USING RADAR SYSTEM AND SGP4 MODEL (RADAR 시스템과 SGP4 모델을 이용한 저궤도 위성의 실시간 궤도결정)

  • In case that we independently obtain orbital informations about the low earth satellites of foreign countries using radar systems, we develop the orbit determination algorithm for this purpose using a SGP4 model with an analytical orbit model and the extended Kalman filter with a real-time processing method. When the state vector is Keplerian orbital elements, singularity problems happen to compute partial derivative with respect to inclination and eccentricity orbit elements. To cope with this problem, we set state vector osculating to mean equinox and true equator cartesian elements with coordinate transformation. The state transition matrix and the covariance matrix are numerically computed using a SGP4 model. Observational measurements are the type of azimuth, elevation and range, filter process to each measurement in a lump. After analyzing performance of the developed orbit determination algorithm using TOPEX/POSEIDON POE(precision 0.bit Ephemeris), its position error has about 1 km. To be similar to performance of NORAD system that has up to 3km position accuracy during 7 days need to radar system performance that have accuracy within 0.1 degree for azimuth and elevation and 50m for range.

  • Fire Control System(FCS) errors can be classified as hardware errors and software errors, and one of the software errors is from target tracking filter which estimates target's location, velocity, acceleration, and so on. It affects function of ballistic calculation equipment significantly. For gun to form predicted hitting point accurately and enhance hitting rate, we need status information of target's future location. Target tracking filter algorithms consist of Single Singer Model, Fixed Gain filter algorithm, IMM, PBIMM and so on. This paper will design IMM tracking filer, which is going to be! applied to domestic warship. Target tracking filter using CV model, Song model and CRT model for IMM tracking filter is made, and tracking ability is analyzed through Monte-Carlo simulation.

  • The failure mode of concrete reinforced with FRP is defined as the concrete crushing and the fiber rupture and the definition of limit state is a slightly different according to the design methods. It is relatively difficult to predict of FRP reinforced concrete because the mechanical properties of fibers are quite depending on its of fibers. The design code by ACI440 committee, which has been developed mainly on GFRP having low modulus of elasticity, is widely used, but the applicability on other FRPs of this code has not been sufficiently verified. In addition, the ultimate and serviceability limit state based on the ACI440 are comparatively difficult to predict the behavior of member with the 0.8~1.2 𝜌b because crushing and rupturing failure can be occurred simultaneously is in this region of reinforcement ratio, and predicted deflection is too sensitive according to the loading condition. Therefore, in this study, reliability and convenience of the prediction of structural performance by design methods such as ACI440 and MC90 concept, respectively, were examined through the experimental results and literature review of the beam and slab with the reinforcement ratio of 0.8 ~ 1.4. As a result of the analysis, it can be applied to the FRP reinforced structure in the case of the simple moment-curvature formula (LIM-MC) of Model Code, and the limit state design method based on the EC2 is more reliable than the ultimate strength design method.

  • This paper describes the developments to improve the feeling and safety of the remote control system of unmanned vehicles. Generally, in the case of the remote control systems, a joystick-type device or a simple steering-wheel are used. There are many cases, in which there are operations without considering the feedback to users and driving feel. Recently, as the application area of the unmanned vehicles has been extended, the problems caused by not considering the feedback are emphasized. Therefore, the need for a force feedback-haptic control arises to solve these problems. In this study, the force feedback-haptic control algorithm considering the vehicle parameters is proposed. The vehicle parameters include first the state variables of dynamics, such as the body side-slip angle (${\beta}$) and yawrate (${\gamma}$), and second, the parameters representing the driving situations. Force feedback-haptic control technology consists of the algorithms for general and specific situations, and considers the situation transition process. To verify the algorithms, a simulator was constructed using the vehicle dynamics simulation tool with CAN communication environment. Using the simulator, the feasibility of the algorithms was verified in various scenarios.

Proposan and Analysis of DR(Distributed Reflector)-LD/EA(electro-absorption)­Modulator Integrated Device (분포반사기 레이저 다이오드와 광흡수 변조기가 집적된 소자의 제안 및 해석)

  • The novel integrated device, 1.55 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ DR-LD(distrbuted reflector laser diode) integrated EA-MOD (electro-absorption modulator) as light source, is proposed to improve the device yield and its operational performances. This device can be easily fabricated by the selective MOVPE technique and its fabrication processes are almost the same as the reported 1.55 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ DFB-LD(distributed feedback laser diode) integrated EA-MOD except the asymmetric gratings. The static and dynamic properties are investigated simultaneously by solving the transfer matrix method for light propagation, the time-dependent rate equation for carrier change and schr$\"{o}$dinger equation for QCSE (Quantum-Confined Stark Effect). The performances of the proposed device such as output power, chirp, and extinction ratio are compared with those of DFB-LD integrated EA-MOD. Under 10Gb/s NRZ modulation, we obtain that DR-LD integrated EA-MOD. is 30% higher in output power on the on-state, about 50% lower in chirp, and slightly larger in extinction ratio than DFB-LD integrated EA-MOD.-MOD.
