Various medicinal plants were examined as resources for antidiabetic biomaterials, using an oriental medicinal database. The prescription frequency and dosage of medicinal plants in 131 antidiabetic prescriptions were analyzed. Total prescription score of each medical plant was summed up from prescription table and score table. High-scored medicinal plants have been widely studied in the previous research on the diabetic treatment. Consequently, dangui, hwangryun, maekmoondong, ginseng, chick, saengjihwang, omija, bokryung, Jimo and cheonhwaboon were assumed to have high antidiabetic activities.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze papers on child rearing in Korea and to suggest future research and nursing practice directions for child rearing. Methods: An on-line search via 5 web sites yielded 201 research papers. The analysis of key concepts was based on the attributes of parenting and type of knowledge held by the parents. Results: The research papers found in the search were 27.3% experimental and 72.7% non-experimental. Among the participants, 77.0% of parents raising the child were mothers and the children were mostly young children under the age of one year. Types of knowledge related to child rearing varied widely, but explanatory knowledge (55.2%) was the most common, followed by prescriptive knowledge (30.0%) and descriptive knowledge (14.8%). For attributes of parenting, reaction to parenting (49.9%) followed by parenting behavior/practice (43.1%) was most common. Conclusion: Findings of this study indicate that further research is necessary regarding fathers and surrogate caregivers and on prescriptive knowledge for health promotion of children at different developmental stages. Also the results suggest a need for research toward developing child care policies.

An oriental medicinal database was used from medicinal plants for screening of anticancer agents. The prescription frequency and dosage of medicinal plats in 170 anticancer prescriptions were analyzed. From the total prescription score of each medical plant, it was found that high-scored medicinal plants have been widely studied in the previous research on the cancer treatment. Consequently, dangui, hwangui, banha, bachul, jinpy, insam, bacjakyak, deahwang, chungoong, jimo, chunnamsung, omija, hyunggae, huekchook, banggi, boclyung, osooyou were selected as raw materials for the screening of anticancer agents.

Our society is rapidly ageing and income level is rising. With the development of IT-based convergence technology and the construction of infrastructure for the u-healthcare services, the importance of the hand acupuncture prescription has known as the folk remedies is being spotlighted. In this paper, we proposed the hand acupuncture prescription using the personalized symptom according to context in the u-healthcare. The proposed method defined the context and environment of the users and predicted the profited hand acupuncture prescription service according to the personalized symptom using the collaborative filtering. The user gets the accurate hand acupuncture prescription as the personalized symptom to input only the name of a disease in the proposed system. We developed GUI for this purpose, and experimented with it to verify the logical validity and effectiveness. Accordingly, the satisfaction and the quality of services will be improved the hand acupuncture prescription by supporting the context information as well as the personalized symptom.

Recently, mental patients are increasing by secondary gain, that is, purpose for avoiding a military service as the social prejudice about mental disease decreases. In particular, it is unique diagnostic tool to a patient's subjective symptoms complaint and a doctor's special judgment, in occasion of psychiatry problem that an objective diagnostic tool does not exist. In this paper, we provide an objective basis to help in a quick decision-making of discharging from military service using the datamining, that analyzes mental patient's prescription to find a special rule. Therefore, we propose the decision support system of discharging from service using the analysis of mental patient's prescription.

This study analyzes the chicken-related prescription shown in the literature summarized by standing tradition deliberate aims to investigate the clinical efficacy of native chickens. This study is to establish the analysis and separated by organized to establish a database on the basis of prescription and mixed herbs in a variety of functional foods developed through usability evaluation methods of treatment. Therefore, the management systems of native chickens related to lack of knowledge and information to foster the continued expansion and specialized training and knowledge of the future growth engine industry through the added value of cultural projects of national knowledge resources. Finally, convergence research and evaluate the usefulness of native chickens through interdisciplinary research systems, and practical measures of functional foods and alternative medicine are presented as well.

The goal of this paper is to examine the effects of a CDSS(Clinical Decision Support System) for drug prescription on organizational performance in medical institutions using POC(Point Of Care) systems. For achieving this goal, evaluation factors for influencing performance of information system were identified by using the performance evaluation model for CDSS. In the results, there was significant causality between each evaluation domain except system quality domain. In addition, the system quality of CDSS for optimal drug prescription has no influence on user satisfaction. But information quality has positive influence on user satisfaction which has also a positive influence on organizational performance.

여러 약재의 복합적인 작용으로 치료를 행하는 한의학의 특성으로 여러 처방과 약재 조합들을 기억하고 있어야 하는 한의사의 어려움을 줄이고 환자에게 보다 높은 질의 의료 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 환경을 만드는 것이 목적이다. 다양하고 복합적인 약재의 조합으로 증상을 치료하는 한의학의 특성 때문에 셀 수 없이 많은 약재의 조합이 존재하며 한의사가 이 모든 조합을 기억하기는 어렵기 때문에 한의사들이 환자를 처방함에 있어 조금이라도 보탬이 될 수 있는 처방 지원 시스템을 개발할 필요가 있다. word2vec을 이용하여 처방과 약재의 조합을 추천해주며 분석을 통해 산출된 약재의 조합과 그 조합이 실제 의서에 존재하는지의 여부를 함께 알려주어 한의사가 보다 더 주의하여 환자에게 처방할 수 있다.

면역 결핍 바이러스와 허피즈 바이러스 -1,2에 대한 한약의 항바이러스 작용을 관찰하기 위하여, 세포 바이러스 검색에 초기 독성과 감염 바이러스의 생존 세포 수를 비교적 단기간내 볼 수 있는 96-well plate를 이용한 MTT assay로 측정하였다. 본 실험은 예비 실험 단계에서 사용된 총 85가지의 한약중 단미제 6가지와 복합처방 44가지를 선정하였으며 복합처방은 유사한 치법으로 분류하였고 한약의 시료 추출은 순수하게 물로 전탕하여 여과하였다. 실험 결과 파두와 맥아가 면액 결핍 바이러스에 대해 감염초기 유의성이 있었으며 호장근, 갈근우방자탕과 형방패독산이 허피즈 바이러스-1,2에 대해 감염초기 유의성이 있었으나 실험의 시간 경과에 따른 지속적인 약효 안정성을 보이지는 못하였다. 이 실험을 통하여 한약을 이용한 우수한 바이러스 치료를 개발하기 위해서는 단미제나 복합 처방에서 항바이러스 작용이 큰 유효성분의 대량 분리와 세포 실험에 있어서 오차를 줄 일 수 있는 세포면역학적 실험의 도입 등이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.
