지구과학교사의 학생 평가 전문성 자기진단 프로그램 개발

  • 본 연구에서는 교사의 전문성 영역의 한 부분인 학생 평가 전문성을 교사 스스로 진단해 보고 진단 결과에 대해 적절한 처방을 제공받을 수 있는 교사의 학생 평가 전문성 자기진단 프로그램을 개발하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 선행 연구와 문헌 조사를 통해 교사의 학생 평가 전문성을 구성하는 요인을 규명하고 이를 범주화하여 학생 평가 전문성 진단 도구를 구안하였다. 교사의 학생평가 전문성 구성 요인은 1990년에 미국의 AFT(American Federation of Teacher), NEA(National Education Association), NCME(National Council on Measurement in Education)가 공동으로 발표한 ‘학생 평가를 위한 교사의 평가전문성 기준(Standards for teacher competence in Educational Assessment of Student)’ 7가지를 연구자가 진단 도구 개발에 적합하도록 ${\circled1}$평가 방법의 선정, ${\circled2}$평가 도구의 개발, ${\circled3}$평가 실시?채점 및 성적 부여, ${\circled4}$평가 결과의 해석?분석?활용?의사소통의 4개 영역으로 재구성하였다. 진단도구를 개발하는데 있어서는 전문성 구성 요인별로 설문 형식의 질문에 답하고 이를 종합하여 점수를 매기는 방식보다는 구체적인 상황과 사례를 제시하고 이에 대해 평가를 해보게 하는 방식을 이용하여 평가 능력을 실질적으로 진단할 수 있게 하는데 초점을 맞추었다. 개발된 프로그램은 교사가 외부로부터 평가 받는데 소극적인 점을 감안하여 교사 스스로 자기를 진단할 수 있는 도구를 제공하고자 했으며, 진단 도구를 통해 밝혀진 결과에 대해 처방이나 안내를 함께 제공하여 교사가 자신의 평가 전문성을 제고하는데 보다 적극적으로 나설 수 있도록 도울 수 있는 프로그램으로 개발하려 하였다. 또한 이 프로그램을 교사가 활용하는 과정에 대한 조사 연구를 통해 궁극적으로는 교사의 학생 평가 전문성 신장을 위해 필요한 외부 지원이 무엇인지 추출하고 이러한 지원 체계와 교사가 능동적으로 이어질 수 있는 방안을 모색해 보고자 한다.

  • 관능(官能)에 의한 풍미검사법(風味檢査法)의 표준화(標準化)를 위하여 우리나라 실정(實情)에 맞는 풍미검사(風味檢査) 방법(方法)을 시험(試驗) 연구(硏究) 검토(檢討)한 결과(結果)를 요약(要約)하면 다음과 같다. 1. 파넬선발(選拔) 일반기준(一般基準), 감도시험(感度試驗) 및 차이식별가능력시험(差異識別能力試驗)을 통(通)하여 관능(官能)에 의한 풍미검사(風味檢査)를 목적(目的)으로 관능(官能)파넬을 선발(選拔)하였으며, 무료제품(武料製品)의 풍미요소(風味要素)에 관해 전문가(專門家)파넬이 되도록 훈련(訓練)시킨후 풍미식별시험(風味識別試驗), 풍미특성확인시험(風味特性確認試驗), 채점(採點) 및 등급시험(等級試驗), 풍미묘사시험(風味描寫試驗), 사용빈도시험(使用頻度試驗) 등을 실시하여 우리나라 실정(實情)에 적합한 관능(官能)에 의한 풍미검사(風味檢査) 방법(方法)을 발전(發展)시켰다. 2. 우리나라 산업계(産業界) 실정(實精)에 적합한 관능(官能)에 의한 풍미검사법(風味檢査法)에 관한 표준규격안(標準規格案)을 작성(作成)하였다.

  • 최근 4차 산업으로 패러다임이 변화함에 따라 SW산업이 더욱 중요하게 되었다. 이에 따라 전 세계적으로 코딩 교육에 대한 수요도 증가하게 되었고 기업에서도 SW를 잘 만들기 위한 코드 관리 중요성도 증가하게 되었다. 많은 양의 프로그래밍 소스코드를 사람이 일일이 채점하고 관리하는 것은 사실상 불가능하기 때문에 이러한 문제를 해결할 수 있는 코드 평가 시스템이 요구되고 있다. 하지만 어떤 코드가 좋은 코드인지 코드를 어떻게 평가해야하는지에 대한 명확한 기준은 없으며 이에 대한 연구도 부족한 상황이다. 최근에 주목 받고 있는 Deep Learning 기술은 이미지 처리, 자연어 처리등 기존의 Machine Learning 알고리즘이 냈던 성과보다 훨씬 뛰어난 성과를 내고 있다. 하지만 Programming language 영역에서는 아직 깊이 연구된 바가 없다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 Deep Learning 기술로 알려진 Convolutional Neural Network의 변형된 형태엔 Tree-based Convolutional Neural Network를 사용하여 프로그래밍 소스코드를 분석, 분류하는 알고리즘 및 코드의 Representation Learning에 대한 연구를 진행함으로써 이러한 문제를 해결하고자 한다.

An Experimental study on the Criterion of Leading Rate in the CRLC Test (CRLC 실험에서 재하속도 기준에 대한 실험적 고찰)

  • This paper describes a proper criterion for the constant rate of loading consolidation (CRLC) test which is a kind of the continuous loading consolidation(CRLS) and widely used as alternative methods to the incremental loading consolidation(ILC)test. With those results, the preconsolidation pressure estimated by the CRLC test turned out to be comparatively larger than that of the ILC test and it is increased in proportion to the applied loading rates. However, the compression index in the CRLC test is less ifluenced on by the loading rates. The coeffcient of consolidation and permeability in the CRLC test are dependent on excess pore pressure ratio mainly. In other words, if the pore pressure ratios are too low, the coefficient of consolidation and permeability become smaller than those of the ILC test. On the other hand, if the excess pore pressure ratios are too high, the coefficient of consolidation and permeability become so larger than those of the ILC test. Therefore loading rates should be carefully determined to generate proper excess pore pressure ratio.

Suggestions for Improvement for KSL Screening Tests: From an Analysis of WIDA Tests (WIDA 평가 고찰을 통한 한국어(KSL) 교육과정 진단평가 개선 방안 탐색)

  • The present study suggests ways to improve the Korean proficiency screening test through an analysis of WIDA tests. A review of WIDA Screener, WIDA MODEL, and W-APT reveals that each of these three tests consists of four or five tests, corresponding to grade-level clusters. In addition, the WIDA screening tests assess both English for social communication and academic English, according to WIDA's five English Language Development (ELD) standards. Thematic folders of the ELD standards have different ranges of item difficulty, and the WIDA screening tests are adaptive tests. Lastly, the writing tests consist of performance-based tasks, and the rubric is holistic. As suggestions for improvement for Korean screening tests of the KSL curriculum, this study proposes (a) to devise items to assess academic Korean, so as to evaluate students' overall proficiency more accurately, (b) to utilize an adaptive method to screen students' proficiency more efficiently, and (c) to revise the writing tasks and rubric of the current KSL screening tests.

  • The current 2007 Mathematics Curriculum in Korea emphasizes mathematical problem solving, advanced mathematical thinking and effective mathematical communicating. Therefore, in order to assess and evaluate these important thinking attributes, performance evaluation using descriptive and essay type of assessments are emphasized. In this paper, analysis of the elementary mathematics curriculum is used to develop descriptive assessment problems and grading rubrics that could be used objectively and consistently by teachers of the grade 6 school mathematics. The assessment problems were developed, pilot tested, revised, implemented and analyzed in detail to understand the overall effectiveness of the descriptive evaluation method in school mathematics.

  • This research is aiming to develop Semiconductor equipment maintenance certification course to train qualified maintenance experts more effectively requested in related semiconductor industry. In the course of research, we adopted diverse research technique such as interview, on-spot investigation, documentary references to analyze current status of related training facilities, and forecast the population of test applicants. We analyzed similar certification course(Craftsman SMT, Industrial Engineer SMT, Craftsman Mechatronics, Industrial Enginee Mechatronics, et) as reference to set up job objectives and curriculum of semiconductor equipment maintenance certification. We conducted survey on expectations on newly created certificate, presented evaluation standard and objective of test, and preliminary writing test and demonstration test. Based on the result of various research, we were able to present training program for semiconductor equipment maintenance certification and set the assessment standard of qualification exam.

  • The aim of this study was to develop assessment tools for analyzing society focusing on abilities, not an academic clique. The development of a type of occupational qualification, which is called a working and learning system, for Koreans, can be reliable and acceptable to a variety of society members. This study was conducted by searching for a dual system and examining a qualification system in developed countries. To achieve the goal of this study, the management status according to a type of qualification system was analyzed. In addition, a variety of related laws, related department, testing authority, testing institute, terms of applying for tests, way of testing, committee of testing, testing subjects, criterion for passing tests, a status of qualification test administrated in some developed countries, such as Germany, UK, the USA and Australia, were conducted. The occupational duty of the machine field and education contents are examined by analyzing the occupational duty. In addition, the criterion to solve problems and a way of marking in the field of machines were indicated and an example of written and practical tests is presented. This study makes a blueprint for a qualification system of working and learning at the same time in a national dimension.

Development and Evaluation of Criterion-Referenced Performance Assessment Items Based on the 7th National Science Curriculum -Subject Unit of Reproduction and Biological Accumulation- (제7차 교육과정에 근거한 준거지향적 수행평가 문항의 개발과 평가 -고등학교 과학 "생식"과 "생물 농축" 단원을 중심으로-)

  • In recent years, there has been an increased emphasis on performance assessment to evaluate students' abilities. Our nation has introduced a change in testing and assessment. Additional work on the efficacy, reliability, and comparability in order to develop the performance assessment item has been needed in the enforcement of the 7th National Science Curriculum. Also, criteria for professional and technical standards has been needed to be developed. The purpose of this study was to draw out various key concepts and to develop achievement standards, assessment standards and performance assessment items based on the 7th National Science Curriculum on the subject matter of reproduction(chapter 13) and biological accumulation(chapter 17). And also, this study examined the validity of completed performance assessment items based on classical test theory and polytomous item response theory. Twelve key concepts in chapter 13(reproduction) and four from chapter 17(biological accumulation) were abstracted. Twenty-six achievement standards in chapter 13(reproduction), and nine in chapter 17(biological accumulation) were developed. The achievement standards were determined in terms of knowledge(K), process skill(P) and attitude(A). Twenty-five assessment standards in chapter 13(reproduction) and nine in chapter 17(biological accumulation) were developed. Based on the developed achievement standards and assessment standards, twenty-two performance assessment items(seventeen open-ended questions, three essays, and two portfolios) with concrete grading criteria were developed. Eight open-ended items were applied to 240 10th graders to evaluate reliabilities of the test which consisted of four items per each chapter. The results would be suggested that the applied items were valid for performance assessment because item difficulties and item discriminations were proper. There was not much differences in item discrimination between interpretation from classical test theory and that from polytomous item response theory. However, there were some differences in item difficulties between the interpretations of two theories because the characteristics of examinees were reflected in classical test theory.

The development and application of the descriptive evaluation questionnaire on the Clothing and Textiles section of the middle school Technology & Home Economics textbook (중학교 기술.가정 의생활영역의 서술형 평가문항 개발 및 적용)

  • To develop the descriptive evaluation questionnaire with high validity and reliability on the Clothing and Textiles section of the middle school Technology & Hone Economics textbook, apply it to students and analyze its results. We made out a draft for descriptive evaluation questionnaire that was based upon the concrete establishment of the goal and the range of evaluation. We also made a rubric for scoring as well as sample answer-sheets. Finally, we completed a total of twenty three descriptive evaluation questions and we applied it to sixty five 2nd-grade students in two classes in a middle school. Descriptive evaluation questionnaire exhibited the relative high validity on each question. Moreover, three graders gave the same score on each question of descriptive evaluation, suggesting that descriptive evaluation questionnaire has the high inter-grader reliability and the strong correlation. But, low academic achievement was generally observed in the subjects. They had difficulty in describing their knowledge via their own language and drawing up accurate and detailed answers. They recognized the positive aspects of descriptive evaluation questionnaire, but they felt it uncomfortable due to study-burden and description itself. To overcome these limitations, it is required that students should experience various materials related to subject contents in classes as well as textbooks, concentrate themselves on finding solutions for problems, expand their scope, and practice describe them in advance. Therefore, the additional training for description evaluation questionnaire will be necessary for the more efficient and discriminative questionnaire. Also the questionnaire with high validity and reliability should be developed and the aggressive and voluntary participation of teachers will be needed.
