Plagiarism dispute Cases of Fashion Design and Undergraduate Students' Perceptions Regarding Plagiarism of Fashion Design (패션디자인의 표절 분쟁 사례와 대학생들의 패션디자인 표절에 대한 인식)

  • Controversy and legal disputes over counterfeit fashion designs have recently arisen in the fashion industry. The purpose of this study is to examine cases of counterfeiting disputes over fashion designs, and how the perception of counterfeit fashion designs is fostered from the learner's point of view, suggesting implications for the counterfeiting problem. As a result of this study, first, counterfeiting disputes over fashion design started from a lack of utilization of the Design Protection Act and the ambiguity in counterfeit design criteria. Second, the negative perceptions of counterfeit designs were mainly about unethical behavior, inhibiting the growth of the fashion industry, and reducing consumers' willingness to buy the genuine article. Positive perceptions were mainly about the process of creation, the promotion of a developmental environment for the fashion industry, and the expansion of opportunities to promote new designs. The most common perception was the absence of clear criteria for judgments about counterfeiting. Third, the implications of the counterfeiting problem in fashion design require effective institutional improvement in the fashion industry, the establishment of standards to deal with counterfeiting, the development and practical introduction of education proposals regarding intellectual property rights, and changing the perception of counterfeiting in the fashion industry.

A Study on Needs of 'Strolling (Yu)' at the Fine Arts Education - Focused on Oriental Painting - (미술교육에 있어서 '노닐음(遊)'에 대한 필요성 연구 - 동양화를 중심으로 -)

  • The paper examined whether the fine arts education needed concept of 'Yu' that was suggested by, 'Soyoyu' of Jangja, a representative philosopher of Doka. At first, the paper defined concept of 'Yu' of Jangja as well as background and needs of the fine arts education, and investigated values of 'Yu' of the Oriental painting in aesthetic way to examine whether today's Yu concept can be applied to modern Oriental fine arts education to express. Chapter 2 examined concept and thought of 'strolling (Yu)', and Chapter 3 did background and needs of the fine arts education. Chapter 4 examined an access to practical technique education of the Oriental painting through 'strolling (Yu)': At first, the chapter investigated 'Heosil' of space concept that was researched at Chapter 2, 'Pilmuk' of expression technique, and 'Saeui' of state of spiritual canvas of painters. The findings were as follow: Firstly, when relation between Yu and Oriental paintings was investigated based on formative idea, 'Heo' reminded appreciators of association of ideas, hint and imagination, etc by, 'Sil' that other objects disclosed intrinsic attributes so that it indicated border of positive forgetfulness expressed by artists to have same border between 'Heo' and 'Yu'. Therefore, both 'Heo' and 'Sil' could build up expression as well as appreciation ability by experiencing formative idea to develop creativity and to build emotion and to cognize needs of the fine arts education. Secondly, the artistic state of 'Shin', 'Ki (Simjae)', 'Jeonshin' and, Saeui', etc could be expressed with strength and weakness of both Yin and Yang of Pilmuk. Therefore, the Pilmuk were linked even with creation of both Hyeongsa and artistic form of Saeui. Therefore, freedom at border of spiritual 'strolling' could produce creative power being expressed by thinking, natural appreciation ability, and education that could judge values of aesthetic culture. Therefore, cultivation of aesthetic eye, development of creativity, build up of formative ability and education of human nature, etc could keep identity of the Oriental fine arts education at various modern fine arts.

  • The recent Fourth Industrial Revolution is accelerating changes due to digital transformation. According to this trend, the existing start-up paradigm is changing, and new business models based on new technologies and creative ideas are emerging. In addition, the diversity of mentoring relationships and environments such as online mentoring, reverse mentoring, group mentoring, and multiple mentoring is also increasing. However, most mentors in their 50s and 60s, who are mainly active in the start-up field, have been able to help mentees a lot based on their own experience and expertise, but they are having difficulty responding to the changing environment due to a lack of understanding and experience of new technologies and environments. To cope with these changes well, mentors must constantly study, acquire and apply the latest technologies to improve their understanding of new technologies and the environment. In addition, it is necessary to have an understanding and respect for the diversity of mentoring relationships and environments, and to maximize the effectiveness of mentoring by actively utilizing them. Therefore, mentors should recognize that they directly affect the growth and development of mentees, constantly acquire new knowledge and skills to maintain and develop expertise, and actively deliver their knowledge and experiences to mentees. Therefore, in this study, was tried to empirically analyze the relationship between mentoring's influence on mentor's job satisfaction through mentor's personal learning and self-efficacy. The results of the empirical analysis were as follows. Among the functions of mentoring, career function and role modeling were found to have a positive effect on both personal learning and self-efficacy, which are parameters, and job satisfaction, which is a dependent variable. On the other hand, psychological and social functions have a positive effect on personal learning, but they do not have an effect on self-efficacy and job satisfaction. In addition, as a result of analyzing the mediating effect, all mediating effects were confirmed for career functions, and only the mediating effect of self-efficacy was confirmed for role modeling. Through this study, mentoring is an important factor in promoting job satisfaction, personal learning and self-efficacy, and this study can be said to be academically and practically meaningful in that it confirmed personal learning and self-efficacy as factors that increase mentor's job satisfaction, and the focus of mentoring research was shifted from mentee to mentor to study the impact of mentoring on mentors.

  • This study attempted to propose a theoretical model for STEAM education, entitled to the Ewha-STEAM education model, which could provide more concrete guidelines for science educators and curriculum developers to execute STEAM ideas. We identified key knowledge and key competencies to nurture future creative/convergent human resources. Key knowledge included an understanding of core ideas cutting across traditional disciplinary boundaries as well as the nature of different disciplines. And additionally, key competencies implied such abilities as to explore the scientific world, to resolve problems, and to communicate and collaborate with others. We also added creativity and character as an essential part of key competencies. In order to provide more specific guidelines when developing, implementing, and evaluating STEAM curriculum, we suggested three elements of convergence to consider: 1) unit of convergence (i.e. concept/skills, problem/phenomenon, activity), 2) degree of convergence (i.e. multi-disciplinary, inter-disciplinary, extra-disciplinary), and 3) context of convergence (i.e. personal, societal, global). It is expected that the Ewha-STEAM education model would contribute towards diverse education communities understanding the direction of STEAM education and its educational potentials.

  • Web Based Instruction has its theoretical background in constructivism paradigm of education. According to social changes called information era and thanks to the sophisticated internet mechanism the constructivism in education has been dominant paradigm. In this paradigm information and knowledge are not merely given by a instructor facing the loaners. This system of instruction has n almost every field of discipline introduced. This article aims to examine how far WBI and constructivism are applicable for design education. Richard Branchia predicted that the learner oriented instruction method would become the dominant education system. He stressed an interactivity of the teacher and students. Upon this can the applicability of WBI for design education be affirmed.   • Korea needs to create, diffuse, and exploit scientific and technological knowledge effectively through transforming its national innovation system from imitative system to creative one. For this purpose, it is necessary for Korea to nurture creative human capital (CHC), which are the main actor of generating S&T and innovation. This paper aims at discussing the strategies of nurturing creative human capital of government-sponsored research institutes (GRIs). In this paper, we argue that the management of creative human capital is particularly important for Korean GRIs because they deals directly with scientific and technological activities. For effective management of GRIs' creative human capital, we suggest a Model for Life Cycle Management of Creative Human Capital. This model is composed of four stages: inviting well-qualified researchers, strengthening mobility of researchers, providing special certificates to excellent researchers, and effectively exploiting retired researchers. We emphasize that each stage should form and reinforce a virtuous cycle. This paper argues that GRIs' creative human capital should be nurtured as 'Inverse T-Type Manpower', who have not only deep knowledge on their own special S&T areas but also broad knowledge on related areas, based on this Life Cycle Management Model.

  • The purpose of this study is to interpret the MCU's universal worldview from the perspective of geometry and to storytell narrative elements with mathematical imagination. For storytelling, data from the Phase 3 series aired from 2016 to 2019 was used. The Phase 3 series stimulates the imagination of the public with the sense of reality shown in the narrative and images based on geometrical theory and various predictions about future technology. Imagination is the driving force for diverse and original thinking about the unexperienced, and the ability to find order in chaos and create new perceptions of matter. The power of imagination is very necessary not only in artistic activities, but also in the scientific field where logic and rationality are important. Bachelard's imagination aims for art, the primitive realm of human beings, and contains sincerity and passion for the wonders of nature and all things. By exploring the MCU's worldview and superhero narrative through geometrical logic and imagination-driven imagery, you can understand the cosmic messages and laws in the film. From a convergence point of view of art and science, various and original techniques based on mathematics and scientific imagination used in MCU video production will help to improve the quality of video analysis.

Traditions and performance of oral folk song singers - focusing on the case of Taebaek Ararei singers for 3 generations /Lee Chang-Sik(Semyung Uni. Prof) (아리랑유산 가창자의 전승과 공연)

  • Female folk song singers do not necessarily recognize the indigenous elements, which are, however, naturally reflected in the narration in the context. Singers of Taebaek Ararei recognize the dialect, the tone and the song when performing. Traditional Ararei had been performed by singers in the village of slash-and-burn field in Hwangji. Cheolam and Jangseong do not have their own traditional songs sing they are mining regions but had adopted songs from other areas including Gyeonggbuk, which still remain as alternative versions. Many elements of Jeongseon Arari and Samcheok Menari are in the narration and the songs. In terms of the context, alternative versions of Ararei are old Arirang melodies from slash-and-burn fields and were confirmed to be a very old form of oral folk songs in Gangwondo. Female singers of 3 generations, Hwaok Mun, Geumsu Kim and Hyojeong Kim, who keep the tradition and identity of Taebaek Ararei, show the integration of the past, present and future of Ararei. The Ararei Preservation Society continuously organizes singers' performances and maintains the tradition. The singer Hwaok Mun was born in Taecheon, Pyeongannamdo and moved to south at 5 and lived in Hajang, Samcheok and then moved to Jangseong and lived in Jaemungok. She is a mother of 6 children and has been a farmer for most of her life. She currently resides in Mungokdong and would sing Ararei at village feasts or events. She says she learned the song naturally because Ararei was sung very often in the past around Taebaek area. She is a typical native Arirang singer. The singer Geumsu Kim is a daughter of Hwaok Mun and leads the Taebaek Ararei Preservation Society to study, maintain and introduce the sound of Taebaek(Taebaek Arirang). She introduces Miner Arirang and Taebaek Ararei to the society members and the local residents. The singer Hyojeong Kim is a granddaughter of Hwaok Mun and follows the tradition of her grandmother and mother while adopting more modern Arirang contents.

  • Because the increased number of Internet users and the common use of IT technology via the expansion of domestic IT infrastructure have increased the web site use of companies, Internet users have begun to experience a range of online websites. In a digital environment, entrepreneurial companies who have limited resources will require effective management by analyzing the critical factors of the website quality assessment and focusing their resources to seize the market because the website quality built in the company directly affects the satisfaction and purchase activity of the customers. In this study, a total of 523 surveys from the customers visiting online websites of the entrepreneurial companies were collected to analyze the factors between the influencing factors and satisfaction and purchase intention using the ServQual method in the AMOS 18.0 program. This analysis showed that the customers visiting the website are satisfied with the factors of tangibility, reliability and responsiveness of visited websites, and the factor of community, which indicates that the level of customer activity in the web sites is related significantly to the customers' purchase intentions.

Molecular biological studies on Heat-Shock Responses in Amoeba proteus: I. Detection of Heat-shock Proteins (아메바(Amoebaproteus)의 열충격 대응에 관한 분자생물학적 연구: 1 . 열충격 대응 단백질의 탐색)

  • 세균이 세포내 공생하는 xD strain과 모 세포주인 tD strain Amoeba proteus의 열충격 대응의 차이를 알아 보기 위하여 방사선 동위원소로 표지된 아미노산을 Ca2+_less Chalkley's 용액에서 음작용 경로를 통하여 90분 동안 흡수하게 하고, 저온 및 고온 스트레스에 대하여 새로 합성되는 스트레스 대응 단백질의 양상을 1, 2차원 전기영동 및 자기방사 사진법에 의해서 비교하였다 저온(10"C) 충격에 대응하여 아메바는 두 strain 모두 56.0 kDa, pl 6.0 단백질을 강하게 발현하였으며, xD strain에서는 tD strain과 달리 저온 충격 초기에 66 0 kDa, pl 5.5 단백질의 발현이 중단되었다. 한편 고온(33"C) 열충격에 대하여 두 strain 아메바에서 모두 10여종의 단백질이 새합성되는 것으로 확인되었으며, tD 아메바에는 이들 단백질의 새합성이 완만하게 이루어지는데 비하여 xD 아메바에서는 그중 66.0 kDa 단백질이 고온 대응 단백질로서 신속하게 새합성되는 것으로 나타났다. 이외에도 2차원 전기 영동 분석을 통하여 열충격에 의해서 발현이 촉진되는 다수의 단백질들을 탐지하였다 탐지된 아메바의 열충격 단백질은 분자량에 따라 hsp100군 2종, hsp90군, 3종, hsp70군 및 hsp60군 각 1종, 그리고 small csp군 4종으로 분류해 볼 수 있었다 두 분석의 결과를 종합해 보면 tD 아메바에는 저온 및 고온 충격에 대하여 열충격 단백질의 합성이 완만하게 상승하는 데 비하여 xD strain에서는 신속하게 이루어졌다. 이상의 결과로 보아 아메바의 세포내 공생 세균은 숙주의 열충격 대응기작에 변화를 야기한 것으로 판단된다한 것으로 판단된다. 10mg과 20mg의 estrogen 처리구 사이에 유두 직경, 길이 그리고 용적의 증가량에 있어서는 차이가 없었다. 10mg 및 20mg의 estrogen 처리는 초발정일령을 각각 20일 및 124일 단축시켰다. 전체적으로 이러한 결과는 송아지에 estradiol의 삽입은 성장과 유선 발달을 촉진시키고 초발정일령을 단축시킬수 있다는 것을 강력하게 지적한다. 일치하지 않으므로 더욱 정밀한 조사를 실시하여 분류학상의 위치를 정확히 밝혀 볼 필요가 있을 것으로 생각되었다.연한 도구이자 정신활동으로 보게함으로써, 주제 및 연구방법에서 획일성보다 다양성과 창조성이 강조되고 있다. 그리고 연구에 있어서 주제 의 다양성을 통해 보다 현실생활에 밀접하게 연결되어야 할 필요성은 학문이나 과학의 사회 성에 대한 새로운 인식을 가져다 주고 있다. 이러한 지리교육과정의 좌표의 변화된 측면들 을 고려하여, 지리교육과정의 새로운 방향은 다음의 세가지로 모색될 수 있다. 첫째, 爭點中 心 地理敎育課程이다. 사회쟁점에 대한 접근은 쟁점의 이해와 문제해결에의 지리적 관점의 활용을 통해 학습내용의 시사성과 사실성을 높힐 수 있다. 이때 문제해결능력을 통해 현대 시민의 자질 및 능력을 기를 수 있음은 물론, 다른 한편으로 실제세계 즉 학생의 실생활, 사 회, 국가, 세계에서 일어나는 일들과의 관련성을 갖게 함으로써, 내적 동기화와 외적인 자극 을 강력하게 결합할 수 있을 것이다. 이는 개인적 유관적합성과 사회적 유관적합성을 동시 에 확보하는 데 유리할 것이다. 둘째, 思考中心 地理敎育課程이다. 지리교육은 학생들을 지 식 및 기능의 숙달자가 되도록 할 것이 아니라 기본적 문장해독력의 수준을 넘어 능력있는 사고자로 길러내는 것을 목표로 하여야 한다.
