Creativity is considered very important in the intelligence-based and informationalized society in which changes and competition were premised. This phenomenon has appeared in the entire society and especially in design area, the development of creative design is needed. It is the reason that a designer must have an interest in design expression techniques which can be an assistance to express creative ideas and develop it. Under this circumstance, this study was to explore utilizations of the SCAMPER which is one of most useful techniques for expressing and developing creative ideas. Based on the results of the questionnaire research regarding creative expression techniques and trends in utilization of SCAMPER in visual design process, the study sought new possibility of utilization of SCAMPER. The result of the study showed that checklist of SCAMPER was classified and organized to expression of ideas and every steps of development.

In the 4th Industrial Revolution situation it is essential to need the high quality of software in diverse industrial areas. In particular current software centered schools attempt to educate the creative thinking based coding to non-major students and beginners of computer. But the problem is insufficient on the definition and idea of the creative thinking based software. In addition in a aspect of coding education for non-major and new students we recognize to have no relationship between creative thinking methods and coding. In other words we should give them how to practically code and design through learning the creative thinking. To solve this problem we propose the codification of design thinking mechanism without the knowledge of software engineering through mapping creative thinking with software development process. With this mechanism we may expect for students to have some coding ability with the creative design.

This study aimed to develop a creative education class program using metaphor, one of the creative thinking techniques, and to examine the effectiveness of the program targeting for randomly sampled 338 students in six middle schools. The creative education class program with the metaphor was developed based on content elements concerning 'astronomy' in 2015 science curriculum revision in South Korea. The program was tested for validity after being modified and supplemented three times by forming a group of experts, and the final version of the program was applied to school education fields during four periods, including block time. To find out the effectiveness of the program and the implementation, creative education class satisfaction test and creative thinking process test were conducted. That is to say, the creative education class satisfaction test was conducted before treatment and the creative thinking process test was implemented both before and after treatment. The results of the study are as follows. First, in this study, the program was developed with the emphasis on students voluntarily and actively participating in creative education programs while utilizing creative thinking methods. Second, the statistical results of the pre- and post-class about the creative education program using the metaphor of creative thinking techniques represented significant results(p<.05). In other words, the two-dependent samples by students' pre-and post-score about the creative education class showed significant statistical test results (p<.05). It turned out that the creative education program using metaphor has had a positive impact on research participants. Third, in regards to the results of the creative education class satisfaction test, 101 out of 338 students(30%) answered 'Strongly Agree' and 137(41%) answered 'Agree', indicating the subjects' satisfaction with the class was high in general. On the other hand, concerning difficulties of the creative class, 137(41%) answered "Lack of time" as the main factor, followed by 98(30%) "Difficulties of problems they were required to solve", 73(22%) answered "Conflicts with friends", and 24(7%) said "Difficulties of contents." These responses were taken into account as considerations for further development of creative education programs.
Art Collaborative advertising uses creative works that are not related directly to the product and recreates it as a more valuable product. Creative thinking acts as a core value. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of creative thinking using mind map and SCAMPER technique in art collaboration class. After analyzing the art collaboration advertisement class for 6 students in middle school, we analyzed characteristics between creative technique and creativity through student activities and work. The results were as follows. First, creative thinking ability of students who experienced art collaboration showed flexibility and originality in SCAMPER, and fluency in mind map. Second, throughout the course, we were able to observe elaboration, which embodied tough ideas and developed depth. This study will contribute to the research related to the improvement of students' creative convergence case by meeting two or more areas and collaborating on each core competency.
Psychological research on the relationships between creativity and knowledge can be divided into two main streams, called tension view and foundation view. However most of the studies in this area have been too much focused on creative products which had a limit in investigating creative processes. In this study, to identify the relationships, we employed neuro-scientific approaches to investigating EEG (electroencephalogram) activity from professional computer programmers(n=10). Also the EEG alpha TRP (task related power) was compared with each other. The procedures including resting conditions with eye closed were followed by ordinary thinking process, creative thinking processes in a professional domain and a nonprofessional domain. As a result of EEG activity analysis, alpha deactivation was observed mainly in temporal lobe, especially in left-temporal lobe during creative thinking process of professional domain. The findings suggest that neuro-scientific approach supports the tension view, suggesting that the knowledge could hinder creativity.
The purpose of this study was to find the effect of intuitive free association and systematic free association on the creativity of high school students group in the conceptual design process. Based on this study result, the conclusion can be summarized as follows. 1. There was meaningful relation between intuitive free association and creativity factor of high school students. Mean value of experimental group A 's creativity and it's factor originality, practicality, elaboration, and fluency which treated intuitive free association was increased. 2. There was meaningful relation between systematic free association and creativity factor of high school students. Mean value of experimental group B 's creativity and it's sub factors: originality, problem solving, elaboration, and fluency which was treated systematic free association was increased. 3. It was found that two different divergent thinking does not show any meaningful difference in creativities of two groups. However, the meaningful difference was found in post creativity test in each groups sub-factors. There was meaningful difference in practicality factor, though there was no meaningful difference in originality, elaboration, fluency factors. Using the obtained results, it was concluded that intuitive thinking and systematic thinking play different roles in practicality which is one of sub-factors of the creativity of high school students. Consequently, it can be concluded that systematic thinking which leads students to take a step to solve a given problem can elicit more scientific thinking, and helps students create more practical solution in problem solving than intuitive thinking that emphasize the quantitative aspect of ideas.
