A Study on the Properties of Inventory for Efficient Inventory Control at Small-scale Manufacturing Company (소규모 제조기업의 효율적 재고관리를 위한 재고속성에 관한 연구)

  • Inventory management is one of the important business functions for manufacturing companies to determine market responsiveness. Customers' needs are diversifying, and the life cycle of products is decreasing, thus increasing the importance of inventory management. However, for small-scale manufacturing companies, investing in an IT system for inventory management is practically difficult. In this study, we introduce an inventory and warehouse management model that can be applied simply and quickly in small-scale manufacturing companies. Firstly, we introduce the concept of the properties of inventory and provide an analytical methodology based on the age and quantity of the inventory. Secondly, in accordance with the properties of the inventory, we introduce location management rules for warehouse operation. To apply the proposed model, we studied a wallpaper manufacturing company and verified the applicability of the proposed methods in the field. The proposed model can be applied immediately as part of on-site improvement activities by small-scale manufacturing companies, and inventory management activities are expected to reduce bad long-term inventory and further secure storage capacity for warehouses.

  • 본 연구는 지역적으로 널리 분산되어 있는 생산지의 완전 자동화된 공정이나 물류 창고를 원격에서 실시간으로 제어 및 감시하고, 이로부터 생산된 물품의 물류 과정을 GPS를 연동하여 실시간으로 모니터링하는 시스템을 초고속 통신망을 이용하여 Web상에서 구현하기 위한 것이다. 특히 본 연구에서는 전용의 어플리케이션으로 개발한 원격 감시 및 제어 시스템을 Web상에서 구현하고, 지역적으로 널리 분산되어 있는 여러 생산지로부터 원격으로 소비자에 물품을 공급하기 위한 원재료 구매 후 생산 물품을 소비자(또는 소비자 인접 물류 센터)에 공급하기까지의 일련의 경로를 원격에서 시뮬레이션을 통하여 분석 후 제시하며, 제시된 경로의 제품공급 현황을 원격/실시간으로 감시하고 통제 및 관리하는 시스템의 구현 방법에 대하여 제시한다.

  • This paper deals with the S/W development of web-based warehouse management system using ubiquitous RFID(Radio Frequency Identification). This S/W System supports the realtime inventory management and collaborative operations of relational companies in SCM. We expect to decrease the logistic cost and to upgrade the status of WMS and competitive power of company.

  • 수요관리 프로그램의 개발과 시행을 위해 서는 End-Use별로 수요예측과 잠재량 평가가 필수적이다. 업무용 전력수요는 건물용도에 따라 수요패턴이 상이하다. 여기서는 건물용도별 기준수요 예측을 위한 알고리즘과 절차를 제시하였으며, 이를 토대로 시산분석을 하였다. 용도별 전력수요는 사무실, 호텔, 병원, 도소매, 학교, 창고, 식당, 식료품, 체육시설 둥 건물용도로 구분하였으며, End-Use는 이중 6개 용도에 대해 조명, 동력, 공조, 사무, 기타 등 5개로 나누어 추정하였다.

  • 최근 RFID/USN (Radio Frequency IDentity/Ubiquitous Sensor Network) 시장의 급격한 성장으로 비즈니스 영역에서 물류/유통 뿐만 아니라 국방, 창고 및 공정관리 등 영역을 지속적으로 확장하고 있다. 본 연구는 RFID를 이용한 농작물 개체관리와 USN을 이용한 농작물 생장환경 관리를 구현하고 두 시스템을 통합하는 비즈니스 모델(한국형 u-Farm 모델)을 제시하였다. 이를 통하여 소비자에게는 농작물 이력데이터를 제공하여 상품에 대한 신뢰성을 확보할 수 있고, 생산자는 생장환경정보를 주기적으로 획득하여 최적의 생산조건을 구현하는 기반을 마련하였다.

  • An object color identification and classification embedded system realization for uninhabited stock management is presented in this paper. The embedded system is realized by using ultrasonic sensor to extract the object and distance, and detecting binary image from USB CCD camera. The algorithm is identified by comparing the reference pattern with the color pattern of input image, and move to the settled rack at the store. The experimental result leads to use the uninhibited stock management with practice as a robot.

An Exploratory Study for the Introduction of Standard Electronic Documents for Bonded Logistics Warehouse in Port Hinterland (항만배후단지 보세물류창고 표준전자문서 도입을 위한 탐색적 연구)

  • After being kept in bonded areas and bonded logistics warehouses, the level of information sharing and progress confirmation on the process until the cargo is released is insufficient, resulting in disputes and legal disputes related to unauthorized and illegal delivery of cargo. This study attempted to present the introduction of standard electronic documents as a way to solve problems such as delivery practices raised in the delivery of existing imported cargo and legal disputes related to unauthorized illegal delivery among import-related entities. The service provider who manages the bonded warehouse/logistics center in the hinterland of Busan New Port and the shipper service user who use the service were classified into two groups, and a survey was conducted to analyze the difference in perception between the two groups. As a result of the analysis, both groups judged that the introduction of standard electronic documents was necessary, and showed high expected effects in preventing and reducing erroneous shipments and preventing and improving unauthorized and illegal shipments. Discussions between related organizations, related parties, and subjects are needed first to introduce standard electronic documents of the entry and warehouse management system, and the actual participation of related entities such as service providers and service users will play a very important role in establishing the system.

  • This work focuses on the implementation and optimization of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System(AS/RS) which is associated with Logistics Information System(LIS). We survey literature and present a case study for the optimization of Logistics System. In the case study, we examine the adaptation and implementation of AS/RS after we analyzed the processes of the company. Logistics Information System is an important component to keep up with the competitive advantage in the global business environments. The company in the case applies LIS to its efficient physical distribution management. AS/RS leads to some benefits; maximized storage space, increased productivity, reduced labor costs and human error, and improved accuracy. AS/RS is found especially effective when working with narrow aisles and extremely high racks.

Effect Analysis of Rainwater Management Facility for Improving Urban Water Cycle (도시 물순환개선을 위한 빗물관리시설의 효과분석)

  • 광주광역시 도심유역의 14개 단위유역(영본B02~영본B25)으로 면적 $501.19km^2$ 중 약 42%에 해당하는 $211.86km^2$을 대상유역으로 분산식 빗물관리에 의한 물순환 체계를 구축하였다. 지목별 저감대상 면적은 대지, 창고, 공장용지는 전체면적의 15%, 주유소, 학교, 잡종지, 종교용지, 주차장은 5%, 도로는 10%를 적용하여 저감대상 산출면적은 $9.1km^2$로 설정하였으며, 초기강우 10mm에 대한 초기강우유출량 $90,885m^2$이 발생하며 이는 각 단위유역의 토지이용별로 침투통, 침투측구, 침투화분, 침투도랑, 수목여과박스, 식생수로, 빗물저금통, 투수블럭의 8개 시설에 의해 침투 및 저류하는 것을 제안하였으며, 또한, 본 연구의 대상유역에서 발생하는 비점오염원 발생부하량은 8,439.16kg/일으로 그 중 2.4%에 해당하는 210.186kg/일이 본 연구에서 제안한 빗물 관리시설에 의해서 삭감되는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한, 빗물관리시설의 총 투자비용은 약 322억원이며, 효과 비용은 343억원으로 산정되었다.
