A Study on the possibility of the reciporcal peer coaching in faculty learning community (대학교원 학습공동체의 상호 동료코칭 가능성)

  • This study explored faculty professional learning community in A university. Employing a case study method, the present research conducted a survey and semi-structured interview on FLC. The FLC were designed to enhance the teaching ability by reciprocal peer coaching and developing Teaching Tips, during the semester with 5~6 faculty members of each FLC. They reported personal CQI and community paper and presented their learning process and outcomes. The present study shows that observation of their own and peer's lecture was meaningful experience led to reflective practice. Morever, peer coaches provided useful advice and good insight of education based on their practice, though the service was not professional enough. Based on the results, how to effectively foster peer coaching in FLC was discussed.

  • The article attempts to explore community change perceived by participants result from The Integrated Program for Infant and Young Children, a program operated by the Community Chest. The participants expressed and shared their experiences through photos and discussions using the Photo-voice method under the theme of 'community life, its meaning and change'. The main themes were 1. In the past, 'community life,' non-meaningful space; 2. Now, we have shared identity, 'You are not alone'; 3. Our village which is a new place in my life. The article also may suggest issues on both community intervention for early children development program and organization for fosterers as social capital. Additionally, photo-voice method enabled participants to find the way to restructure their community from non-place to place. There were three stages, the first was to reflect on their community, the second was to re-inhabit in the community, and the last was to restore the community.

  • The purpose of this qualitative study is to analyze the experience of multicultural couples who participated in the movie making educational activity within the program "Communication Development among Multicultural and Indigenous Couples Through Intercultural Praxis." This program was held for 8 months from March 10, 2012 to November 11, 2012. Among the participants, 4 couples agreed for both individual and group interviews and provided data for this paper. The interview result can be categorized into the following four: quality relationship, acceptance and support, positive thinking, and accomplishment.

Narrative Analysis for Suicide Prevention Activities Experienced by Chiefs of tong/ri (이·통장이 경험한 자살예방활동에 대한 내러티브 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore what chiefs of tong/ri' experiences in suicide prevention activities are and what their changes are. The study participants are three chiefs of tong/ri who have participated in suicide prevention activities for more than two years in the community. In order to gain a deeper understanding of their respective experiences, used a qualitative method of narrative study. Chiefs of tong/ri' experiences experience in participating in suicide prevention activities consisted of start, experience, change and growth. The meaning is as follows. They did a "light start" with the idea that they could do it easily in their original activities. "Escape from the burden" of learning and maintaining each of own ways in the difficult problem of suicide prevention, "Responsibility as a chief" was the driving force behind suicide prevention activities. They were able to find "change of their own" because of the activity naturally.

Practical Use of Psychodrama as a Self-Development Program for University Students (대학생의 자아성장프로그램으로서 사이코드라마의 활용)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the usefulness of psychodrama as a self-development program for university students by applying it to D university student during 10 weeks. The study results were produced by quantitative and qualitative analyses on the data. At first, according to the quantitative analyses result, the identities of the participated students did not show significant differences between pre and post program participation, statistically. But according to the qualitative analyses on the participants experience reports, which were written by them at each session, the participants had experienced the 'fresh impulse' and the 'enlightenment through the body' at the introduction stage. And, they had experienced the 'whirlwind for the development' and the 'developments through suffering and bearing' at the actualization stage. Eventually, these results proved that psychodrama was useful for the university students to develop their inner side, by bearing and overcoming the physically mentally chaotic experiences from it.

Study of Korean College Students' Perspectives on Virtual Reality Game Experience (가상현실 게임 경험에 대한 한국 대학생들의 관점연구)

  • In Korea there has been scant research on VR games. This work focuses then on college students' perceptions of VR games, factors motivating them to experience VR games, the important features of VR games. This study presents the results of in-depth interview with 10 college students who had recently experienced VR games. VR games, it is found, provide a high level of virtual reality, immersiveness, and controllability. Such attributes may be considered distinctive to mobile, PC, and video games. Gamers' intention to re-experience VR games is influenced by the following important factors: 4D effects in VR games, various VR game contents, freedom in games, unique experience chances, sense of reality, sense of thrill, action-based experiences, and playing in group (multiple player). Study findings also suggest that three important features in VR games known as immersion, engagement, and virtual presence play a pivotal role in influencing positive attitudes toward VR games. Practical implications are also discussed.the help of information technology.

Nursing Students' Experiences of Participating in Habruta Teaching Method: A Phenomenological Study (간호대학생의 하브루타 수업 참여 경험: 현상학적 연구)

  • This study was attempted to identify the essence by confirming the experiences of students who participated in Habuta classes in their major subjects. From November 22, 2022 to December 6, 2022, eight nursing students were individually interviewed to collect data, and the data were analyzed by applying Colaizzi's phenomenological analysis methodology. The study's finding derived 6 categories. The specific categories were 'Coexistence of anxiety and expectation', 'Process of understanding and acquisition', 'Constant burden and discomfort', 'Progress and regression under pressure', 'Sense of security that is being recognized', 'Shift of thought to positivity'. In order for nursing students to participate in Havruta classes positively in the future, appropriate class design, active communication channels between professors and students, and strengthening of instructors' competence are required.

The Research of User Experiences of Participants of Public Comics Festival - In the center of Cosplay Sector of Bucheon International Comics Festival (공공 만화축제 참여자의 사용자경험에 대한 연구 - 부천국제만화축제의 코스프레 부문을 중심으로)

  • Recently, by growing of Korean comics/animation markets and number of consumers, the more people have been reproducing culture contents into derived contents. However, user experience of active users who enjoy these cultures have not been accepted well like other local culture festivals in South Korea, though there are high potentials of vitalization comics/animation festivals using the active users. In this study, the experiences of participants of BICOF (Bucheon International Comics Festival) from 2013 to 2014 researched using the method of ethnography, especially using (group) interviews and participant observations. The result from the research indicates that cosplayers have limited range of participation inside of festival. And they have negative experiences during their participation into festivals. Therefore, this study suggests necessity of methodology of continuous reflecting of the user experiences of active users into festival, for the solution of the successful festival, who was objectified in the festival.

간호사의 영양교육에 대한 인식 및 영양지식

  • 영양사들이 영양서비스에 대한 중요성을 인지하고 있으나 과중한 급식업무에 많은 시간을 할애하고 있으며, 또한 영양사 인력부족으로 인하여 환자에 대한 영양상담이나 영양교육이 제대로 이루어지지 않은 병원도 있어 간호사들이 영양교육을 실시하는 병원도 있는 형편이다. 따라서 영양사의 원활한 업무수행 및 역할 확대를 위하여서는 이에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 의사, 간호사 등 타 의료진의 영양관리에 대한 인식파악이 필요하다고 생각되어 마산시와 창원시 및 경남 함안군에 위치한 2-3차 의료기관에 종사하는 보건의료인 중 간호사(197명)와 간호조무사(94명) 291명을 대상으로 영양관리 중 영양교육에 대한 인식 및 영양지식을 조사하였다. 환자에 대한 영양교육이 ‘매우 필요하다’에 74.2%, ‘약간 필요하다’에 32.8%를 보였으며, 간호사와 전문대 졸업이상에서 간호조무사와 고졸자에 비하여 영양교육의 필요성에 대한 인식이 높게 나타났다(P < 0.001). 영양관련 과목을 이수하지 않은 자는 47.9%, 이수한 자는 52.1%이였으며, 간호조무사(60.4%)가 간호사(42.1%)에 비하여 (P < 0.01), 그리고 근무경력 2년 이상(51.5-59.4%)에서 2년 미만(34.4%)에 비하여(p < 0.05) 영양관련 과목을 이수하지 않은 율이 높게 나타났다. 영양관련 과목 이수자 중 영양지식 습득정도는58.7%가 ‘부족’한 것으로, 40.6%가 ‘보통’인 것으로 답하여 대체적으로 부족하다고 인정하고 있었으며, 학력이 낮을수록 ‘부족’하다고 답하여 학력에 따른 유의적인 차이가 있었다(P <0.05). 영양교육 연수경험이 있는 대상자는 8.6%, 없는 자는 91.4%로 간호사에게 영양교육 연수가 거의 없는 것으로 나타났다. 영양교육 담당자의 적임자로는 영양사 69.3%, 간호사 21.3%로 답하였으며, 간호조무사는 영양교육 적임자로 영양사 82.7%, 간호사 5.8%로 답한 반면 간호사는 영양사 63.5%, 간호사 27.9%로 답하여 유의적인 차이가 있었다(p<0.001). 기회가 주어지면 영양교육에 참여하겠다는 대상자가 47.2%, 참여하지 않겠다는 자가 52.8%로 약1/2정도는 기회가 온다면 참여하겠다는 의지를 보였다. 영양교육에 참여하지 않겠다는 대상자의 43.4%가 ‘전문지식 부족’, 40.5%가 ‘전문가가 담당하는 것이 바람직하다’, 11.9%가 ‘업무량 과중’을 이유로 들었다. 환자치료 시에 영양에 대한 내용을 지도한 경험이 있는 대상자는 48.8%, 지도경험이 없는 자는 51.2%로 나타났으며, 간호사(60.9%)가 간호조무사(23.4%)에 비하여 지도경험율이 높고(p <0.001), 기혼자(57.4%)가 미혼자(44.2%)에 비하여 높으며(p < 0.05), 근무경력 2년 이상이 2년 미만에 비하여(P <0.05), 그리고 전문대 졸업 이상이 고졸에 비하여 유의적으로 높게 나타났다(p<0.001). 영양지식점수의 분포는 good group 55.3%, fair group 41.2%, Poor group이 3.4%이었으며, good group의 평균 점수는 16.1 $\pm$ 1.1점, fair group은 12.7 $\pm$ 1.4점, poor group은 6.6 $\pm$ 2.8점으로 세 군간에 유의적인 차이가 있었다(p < 0.001). 영양지식 점수의 전체평균은 20점 만점에 14.3 $\pm$ 2.5점이였다. 이상의 결과에서 환자의 영양교육 및 상담업무를 원활하게 수행하기 위하여 영양과 내에 급식관리와는 별도로 임상영양 및 영양교육을 담당하는 부서가 설치되어야 하며 영양사의 인력확보가 필요하다고 사료된다. 이상의 연구결과에서 간호사들은 영양교육이 필요하다고 인식하고 있었으나 간호사를 영양교육의 적임자로 보는 시각이 비교적 높았고 약 1/2정도는 영양교육에 참여하겠다는 의지를 가지고 있을 뿐만 아니라 실제로 영양지도를 한 경험이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 1/2 정도가 영양관련과목을 이수하지 않았으며, 91.4%가 영양교육 연수경험이 없는 것으로 나타났다.

A Study on the Activation Plan for the Participation in Citizen Participation Education by Types of Lifelong Education Participation : Focusing on Chungcheongnam-do (평생교육 참여유형별 시민참여교육 참여 활성화 방안에 관한 연구: 충청남도를 중심으로)

  • This study used data from '2016 Chungnam Citizens' Lifelong Education Needs Survey'. This analyzed the basic situation of Citizen Participation Education. It also typifies the interest and participation intention of lifelong education by region, and compared the interest and participation intention of Citizen Participation Education. Through this, we intend to provide concrete basic data for activating the Citizen Participation Education in Chungnam. We analyzed data of 4,108 people in 2016 lifelong education needs survey. This was named enjoy learning type, bias earning type, and elderly learning type. Second, the enjoy learning type group is a group that enjoys participating throughout lifelong education area. bias earning type group is a group that perceives that lifelong education is limited to vocational ability education, culture art education, and liberal arts education. These are groups that are interested and participating only in three areas. The elderly learning type group is a group that shows typical characteristics of the elderly learners and is a group that is concentrated on participation in culture arts education. Third, enjoy learning type group is the second most experienced participant. They are the group with the highest participation interest and participation intention. bias earning type group is the group with the highest participation experience. They are also the second highest group of participating interests and willingness to participate. elderly learning type group is the group with lowest participation experience, participation interest, and participation intention. Finally, we suggest the ways to revitalize Citizen Participation Education in lifelong education.
