Design of Application Sharing System for Collaborative Works in 3D Virtual Environment supporting Multi-Participants (다중 참여자를 지원하는 3차원 가상환경에서 공동작업을 위한 어플리케이션 공유 시스템 설계)

  • Application sharing for collaborative works make multiple participants to be capable of collaborative developments through sharing development tools and applications which is distributed to various system without spatial restriction. However, applying legacy application sharing to CSCW based virtual environment has a problem because it dont consider 3D space and it disturbs the harmonic interaction of participants. In this study, we designed application sharing system for collaborative works in 3D virtual environment to share application effectively on collaborative virtual environment. The designed application sharing system for collaborative works in 3D virtual environment consist of application sharing manager, group manager and communication manager. This system is able to perceive event of 3D space about application of participant on 3D virtual environment by agent which moves to participant sites and get an ordered events and conflict among participants through scheduling. Therefore, designed application sharing system for collaborative work in 3D virtual environment can support efficient collaborative works and improve reusability of legacy application through using easily legacy application in 3D virtual environment when CSCW application development for virtual environments.

  • How to process event message traffic efficiently is important to collaboration among multiple distributed users, and it is a key research issue in the virtual environment fields. AOI model is one of solutions for this problem; which reduces message traffic by restricting event propagation region into an area in which a user is interested. However, in previous systems, it is difficult to adapt to dynamic environment where changes in the number and movement of participants are frequent. This paper proposes a new event management model, called extended AOI model, which is helpful to improve flexibility and efficiency of traditional models, and is able to extend its functions by introducing multi-layered regions. The proposed model can be applied to DVE and MMORPG as an event filtering model.

  • 비밀 분산법은 암호화된 정보를 해독하는데 필요한 비밀 키를 여러 조각(share or shadow)으로 나누어서 권한이 있는 다수의 참여자에게 분산시키고 키의 복원이 필요할 때 비밀 정책에 따른 참여자들이 모여서 키를 복구하는 암호 프로토콜이다. 비밀 분산법의 특징은 비밀 키의 손실을 방지하는 차원도 있지만 그보다는 비밀 키를 가진 참여자의 권한을 분배함으로써 권한의 오남용을 방지하는 것이다. 기존의 (t,n)임계 기법에서의 비밀 분산법에서는 권한이 있는 참여자 n명 중에서 t명이 모였을 경우 비밀 키를 복원함으로써 권한의 문제를 해결했지만, 이 논문에서 제안된 기법은 비밀 키를 복원하는데 변경된 (t,n)+1 임계 기법(여기서 1은 n에 포함되지 않는 별도의 참여자)에서의 비밀 분산법을 사용함으로써 비밀 키를 복원하고 권한의 문제를 해결한다. 제안된 기법은 다수의 합의가 필요로 하는 분야에 다양하게 적용될 수 있다.

  • With the advent of online platforms, individuals have been able to trade small resources, such as a room, in the market. However, as there is no clear regulation on these economic activities, various side effects have emerged. Accordingly, the government reestablished related policies to resolve the unintended consequences of these economic activities. However, the policy has not been implemented yet, and many participants do not comply with the policy. Therefore, this study intends to examine their perceptions in detail. For this purpose, a text mining technique was applied. Posts and comments from major online communities were collected. By applying the topic modeling technique, 5 topics were derived. Compliance with the government's policy is a voluntary decision. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out an in-depth understanding of the policy target. Therefore, based on this study, it is expected that in the future, methods to induce them to conform to policy can be discussed in detail.

  • NFT의 등장으로 디지털 자산의 가치 관점이 변화하며 생태계가 빠르게 확장하고 있다. 2017년 크립토키티를 시작으로 NFT가 대중에게 알려지기 시작하였고, 이를 시작으로 게임, 디지털 예술, 엔터, 콘텐츠 산업 등에서 부각을 나타내고 있다. 2020년의 NFT 시장 규모는 약 3,936억 원으로 성장하였으며, 메타버스 시대가 가속화되면서 NFT 기반의 생태계가 빠르게 발전할 것으로 보인다. 이에 본 고에서는 아직 안정적인 법제도 환경이 마련되어 있지 않은 상황에서 NFT 거래 참여자가 안전하게 거래에 참여할 수 있도록 거래 참여자 관점에서 고려해야 할 주요 이슈 5가지를 도출하고 이에 대해 논하고자 한다.

  • Private Matching is the problem of computing the intersection of private datasets of two parties without revealing their own datasets. Freedman et al.[1] introduced a solution for the problem, where only one party gets private matching. When both parties want to get private matching simultaneously, we can consider the use of Kissner and Song[2]'s method which is a privacy-preserving set intersection with group decryption in multi-party case. In this paper we propose new protocols for fair private matching. Instead of group decryption we introduce a Semi-Trusted Third Party for fairness. We also propose an update procedure without restarting the PM protocol.

  • It is noted that generally speaking, the expressing of actualization or non-actualization of events is not the main role of possibility for the utilization of expressions. In spite of this fact, it is possible to see many examples in which possibility expressions represent actual events, and impossibility expressions represent a type of non-actualization in relation to events. This effect can be described as a semantic extension, by which the participant-internal possibility is extended to actualization due to participant-internal factors, and the participant-external possibility is extended to the actualization due to participant-external factors. When the related possibility expressions are used in this extended sense, they express the dynamic evaluative meaning of 'desirability' of the realized event, while it is determined that when the impossibility expressions are used in this extended sense, they are seen to express the evaluative meaning of 'regretfulness' about the non-actualization of the event. In Modern Japanese, it is noted that there are a few expressions of ability and possibility. They can be largely divided into four types of expressions, according to their origins or uses of expression, which are 'ability verbs', affixes '-れる/られる(-reru/rareru)', '-できる(-dekiru)', and '-得る(-eru)'. They can all express participant-internal possibility and participant-external non-deontic possibility. While 'ability verbs', affixes '-れる/られる' and '-できる' can express participant-external deontic possibility, '-得る' cannot. However, '-得る' is the only possible element to designate the event of a epistemic possibility. Also, the four types of expressions have the usage of conveying 'actualization/non-actualization,' as is the case of the Korean language. However in Japanese, in fact adjectives cannot be associated with 'ability verbs' or 'ability affixes.' Thus the expressions of 'regrets' should in that case depend on the use contexts, unlike the expression 'adj+-지 못하다' as noted in Korean. The ability and possibility in Modern Chinese are mainly expressed by means of the four auxiliary verbs '能($n{\acute{e}}ng$)', '会(huì)', '可以(kěyǐ)' and '可能 ($k{\check{e}}n{\acute{e}}ng$)'. '能' and '会' along with '可以' can all convey participant-internal possibility. In this way '能' and '可以' can express participant-external possibility. Only '会' and '可能' can express epistemic possibility. As for 'actualization,' among the four auxiliary verbs, only '能' can represent actualization. Also, among the negatives of the four auxiliary verbs, only '沒能' can represent non-actualization.

신규 참여자의 형평성 향상을 위한 블록체인에서의 새로운 증명 방식 연구: Proof-of-Probability

  • 최근 블록체인 기술을 응용한 가상화폐에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 자본금이 많지 않은 사람들도 블록체인 네트워크에 참여하기 시작했다. 가장 유명한 가상화폐인 비트코인이 채택한 PoW 방식은 고성능 하드웨어의 과열된 열풍을 불어왔고 PoS 방식은 기존 지분이 많은 참여자들이 많이 존재하여 소수의 자본금을 가진 신규 참여자들이 네트워크에 새로 참여하기 어려운 환경이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존 블록체인 증명방식인 PoW, PoS 방식보다 네트워크 참여를 위한 자본금이 적고 신규로 참여하더라도 리스크가 적은 PoP(Proof-of-Probability) 방식을 소개한다. PoP 방식은 블록을 생성할 시 실제 암호화된 해쉬와 수많은 가짜 해쉬를 각 노드들이 정렬하여 진짜 해쉬를 복호화하여 찾은 노드가 블록을 생성하는 방식이다. 또한 1개의 해쉬를 복호화하여 검증받을 때 1분의 대기시간을 두어 과열된 컴퓨팅파워 경쟁을 제한한다. 지분(Stake)이 많을수록 블록을 생성할 확률은 높아지지만 이는 PoS 방식처럼 절대적이지 않다. 이 방식을 이용한다면 지분을 많이 가진 유효성 검증자(Validators)에 의한 집중화를 피하며 블록체인 네트워크에 참여하려는 진입장벽도 낮출 수 있을 것 이다.

  • The DDS (Data Distribution Service) is a data-centric communication technology that provides an efficient communication service that supports a dynamic plug & play through an automatic setting of participants' location information for each data (Topic) by using DDS discovery technique. This paper proposes the hierarchical-structured DDS discovery technique (SPDP-TBF) suitable for the large-scale distributed systems by comparing and analyzing the existing DDS discovery techniques in terms of performance and problem areas. The proposed SPDP-TBF performs the periodic discovery of the involved participants only by having separate hierarchical managers which take charge of the registration and search (of participants) so that a participant sends its information to the related participants only, and it enhances the effectiveness of the message transfer. Moreover, the proposed SPDP-TBF provides the improved scalability by performing the hierarchical discovery through hierarchical manager nodes so that it can be applied to the large-scale distributed system.
