Calculations of 3D Euler Flows around an Isolated Engine/Nacelle (비장착 엔진/나셀 형상에 대한 3차원 Euler 유동 해석)

  • A reliable computational solver has been developed for the analysis of three-dimensional inviscid compressible flows around a nacelle of a high bypass ratio turbofan engine, The numerical algorithm is based on the modified Godunov scheme to allow the second order accuracy for space variables, while keeping the monotone features. Two step time integration is used not only to remove time step limitation but also to provide the second order accuracy in a time variable. The multi-block approach is employed to calculate the complex flow field, using an algebraic, conformal, and elliptic method. The exact solution of Riemann problem is used to define boundary conditions. The accuracy of the developed solver is validated by comparing its results around the isolated nacelle in the cruise flight regime with the solution obtained using a commercial code "RAMPANT. "

  • 단상 유도형 동기전동기(Line-Start Permanent Magnet Motor: LSPM)는 기존의 단상유도기에 비해 높은 효율을 갖고 있어 가정에서의 주요 동력원으로 사용되고 있다. 그러나 기동 시 영구자석에 의한 Braking toruqe의 발생으로 인해 높은 기동토크를 필요로 하는 단점을 갖고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 LSPM의 장점과 기동 시의 문제점 극복에 유리한 Written-Pole Motor (WPM)에 대해 소개하였다 또한 WPM의 보다 정화한 해석을 위해 WPM의 특징인 운전시 진행되는 영구자석 착자의 유한요소해석을 통해 영구자석의 잔류자속밀도를 계산하였으며 이를 바탕으로 WPM의 동기속도에서의 정특성 해석을 수행하였다.

  • In this work, a magnetic levitation (maglev) system is developed to transport a wafer between semiconductor fabrication process modules in clean rooms to take advantages of eliminating particle and oil contamination that normally exist in conventional transport systems due to contact motion of mechanical components. A main feature of the maglev system developed in this work is that a controller and power supplying part are not mounted on the moving carrier but on the stationary track, which is defined a controller-free carrier, to reduce carrier's weight. Iron-core electromagnets and irons are used for levitation, and air-core electromagnets and permanent magnets are used for stabilization. Analysis, design, and modeling of the magnetically levitated transport system are presented. The performance of the maglev system is experimentally demonstrated.

  • This study was performed to provide fundamental data on middle-aged women's upper torso by classifying the upper torso somatotype and analyzing the characteristics of their somatotype. Factor analysis of principal component model was used to 38 directly measured items, and cluster analysis was applied for classification of upper torso forms. Seven factors were extracted from the factor analysis. The first factor represented the items of circumference, breadth, and depth which were related with body size. On the basis of the cluster analysis using factor scores trom factor analysis as being independent variables, the subjects were classified into three groups. Three dress forms were constructed according to the characteristics for each somatotype of subjects, the three-dimensional characteristics of somatotype were analyzied by the moire pattern and horizontal section map of proposed dress forms. Wearing test by moire topography was used to evaluate wearing outline, the ease of clothes and garment space. Moire pattern and horizontal section map were useful to evaluate wearing conditions, and garment space was changed by the characteristics of the body shape.

  • Clothing shape is principally described in seven factors that are composed of clothing design, clothing material, clothing size, pattern design, sewing method and body motion etc. The aims of this study was to measurement out-line space-shape variation of clothing fitness with body by using the image processing. The subjects for direct anthropometric measurements were 248 female college students aged from 19 to 22. The data were statistically analyzed by principal analysis and cluster analysis. The results selected one somatotype. for the out-line space-shape variation of clothing fitness with body, there dimensional clothing shapes measured. and cross-sectional clothing shape obtained by the measurement was considered to be space wave form. The out-line space-shape variation of clothing fitness with body was observed between the node number and amplitudes of clothing wave form, and node number was determined at the maxim of space-shape amplitude, and the space-shape amplitudes have related with aspect ratio of cross-sectional shape.   • In the surgical repair of tetralogy of Fallot, the anomalous origin of the coronary artery has significant surgical implication. The coronary anomalies of concern are origin of the anterior descending coronary artery from the right coronary artery and certain variations of single coronary branching. We experienced a case of tetralogy of Falloff with single coronary artery from the left coronary sinus, from which the right coronary artery originated crossing the right ventricular outflow tract. This ty e of coronary anomaly in tetralogy of Fallot is known to be extremly rare.

  • The study aims to enhance the trenchless replacement of old sewerage. The trenchless replacement was designed as real size and tested in the field of construction. This trenchless replacement was new technology in construction. The result was good performance in the construction. In the future, the trenchless replacement should be use as the exchange equipment of old sewerage.

  • A disposal scheme involves not only the process of resettlement process, before and on the way of the residential environment improving program, but also the change of psychological opinion concerning to the private interest for the relocation during the projects. Major findings of the study can be summed up as follows : first, as to the resettlement burden of prior residents was imposed to low-income households, while the lowest burden was imposed to middle-income households : second, the residents were rather satisfied with the project in the early stage of the process, but later they do not want to relocate to the place where they left in the process of resettlement program.

  • 음성인식 결과는 띄어쓰기 오류가 포함되어 있으며 이는 인식 결과에 대한 이후의 정보처리를 어렵게 하는 요인이 된다. 본 논문은 음성 인식 결과의 띄어쓰기 오류를 수정하기 위하여 품사 정보를 이용한 어절 재결합 기법을 기본 알고리즘으로 사용하고 추가로 음절 바이그램 및 4-gram 정보를 이용하는 띄어쓰기 오류 교정 방법을 제안하였다. 또한, 음성인식기의 출력으로 품사 정보가 부착된 경우와 미부착된 경우에 대한 비교 실험을 하였다. 품사 미부착된 경우에는 사전을 이용하여 품사 정보를 복원하였으며 N-gram 통계 정보를 적용했을 때 기본적인 어절 재결합 알고리즘만을 사용 경우보다 띄어쓰기 정확도가 향상되는 것을 확인하였다.

  • Drainage pipeline system repaired by trenchless technology using liners can be defined between partial and entire collapse. The liners in the partial collapse pipeline are subjected to only uniform groundwater pressure on the surface. This research evaluates practical and useful cured-in-placed pipe (CIPP) design equations based on experimental results and finite element analysis results. Also, stability evaluation of pipe liner system with edge treatment is performed using finite element analysis. The CIPP equation should be used to design liner pipe system.
