REF SILL OTR-R/L 차체판넬 스템핑 공정에서 성형해석을 통한 공법개발에 관한 연구 (A Study of Tool Planning for Forming Analysis in REF SILL OTR-R/L Auto-Body Panel Stamping Process)

  • The characteristic of sheet metal process is the few loss of material during process, the short processing time and the excellent price and strength. The sheet metal process with above characteristic is common used in industrial field, but in order to analysis irregular field problems the reliable and economical analysis method is demanded. Finite element method is very effective method to simulate the forming processes with good prediction of the deformation behaviour. Among Finite element method, The static-implicit finite element method is applied effectively to analyze real-size auto-body panel stamping processes, which include the forming stage. In this paper, it was focussed on the drawability factors on auto-body panel stamping by AUTOFORM with using tool planing alloy to reduce law price as well as high precision from Design Optimization of ide. According to this study, the results of simulation will give engineers good information to access the Design Optimization of die.

  • Strip casted and rolled magnesium sheet is become exiting material for car manufacturer, due to its better formability and specific strength compare with conventional extruded sheet. TWB technology was attractive for car body designer, because it saves the weight of the car without strength loss. In this study, the laser welding performance of magnesium sheet was investigated for Mg TWB panel manufacturing. The material was strip casted and rolled magnesium alloy sheet contains 3 wt% Al and 1 wt% Zn (AZ31). Lamp pumped Nd:YAG laser of 2kW was used and its laser light was delivered by optical fiber of 0.6mm core diameter to material surface with focusing optics of 200mm focal length for TWB welding. The microstructure of weld bead was investigated to check internal defects such as inclusion, porosity and cracks. Also mechanical properties and formability were evaluated for press forming of car body. For the results, there was no crack but inclusion or porosity on weld at some conditions.The tensile strength of weld was over 95% of base metal. Inner and outer panel of engine hood were press formed and assembled at elevated temperature.

  • 종래에 자동차 차체의 프레스 성형 공정은 설계자의 정성적인 계산이나 다이 (Trial Dic)에 의해 시행 착오 끝에 설계되었다. 그런데, 부정확하게 계산되는 경우가 많아, 아이가 준비된 후 단점이 노출되어 여러 차례 수정 과정을 겪게 되어 시간과 경비를 증대시키는 원인이 되었다. 자동차 회사에서는 이 때문에 금형 설계 단계에서 빠르고 정확하게 금형의 불량을 예측하고 성형성을 정량적으로 평가하기 위한 시스템을 필요로 한다. 그중 비선형 유한요소법(F.E.M)에 의한 시뮬레이션은 정확한 해와 많은 정보를 줄 수 있다는 장점을 가지고 있다. 그러나, 3차원적인 대단히 복잡하고도 치수가 큰 자동차 판넬에 있어서는 수렴성 등의 문제로 적절한 시간 안에 충분한 정밀도를 갖는 해를 구할 수 있는 단계까지는 이르지 못하고 있다.

  • Aluminum sheet application to automobile body panels has now become an important objective to meet the requirements of automobile weight reduction. As the Mg content in Al-Mg based alloys increased up to 7.19%, the strength and elongation increased. For instance. Al-7.19Mg alloy had a high strength of 305MPa and a high elongation of 35%. A study was also made to investigate the interrelation between grain size and tensile properties with varying the contents of Mg, Ti and Zr elements and annealing conditions. The yield stress decreased as the grain size increased, which increased the uniform elongation. The strain hardening exponents n increased as the Mg content increased, which depended on the increasing difficulties of the cross slip of dislocation.

  • Thin plate correction of forming process that it is nowadays smile change of simple contact surface as it becomes possible that forecast dictionary numerically exactly to analyze comparative big comp displacement real industry spot problems between complicated and abnormal curved line shapes and thin plate and die more reliable and need many efforts yet economical analysis method is required and develops this efficient algorithm. This research analyzes correction of forming and examined possibility and validity of spot application using One-Step Finite Element Method. Its application is being increased especially in the automotive industrial area for the cost reduction, weight saving, and improvement of strength.

차체 판넬의 가공 제작을 위한 금형형상의 효율적 모델링 (Efficient modeling of die-face shapes for stamping automobile outer panels)

  • A procedure has been developed so that a die-face for stamping automobile outer panels can be design and modelled efficiently. The procedure is composed of four parts each of which corresponds to modeling major components of a die-face, i.e. tipped product, blankholder, draw beads, and step draw. The modeling techniques developed specifically for die-face design enable a designer to generate the shape of a die-face quickly with the minimum input, and the resulting models can be used in FEM analysis and NC tool path generation. This will lead to the reductions in lead time and manhours required for the design and manufacture of the stamping dies.

119 구급자동차의 구조해석을 통한 내부 설계 안전성 검증에 관한 연구 (Validation of Inside Design Safety for the 119 Ambulance using a Structural Analysis)

  • 본 연구는 새로운 차체를 이용 구급자동차 내부 공간의 디자인 작업에 따른 차량 내부의 구조해석을 수행한 결과로서, 해외 기준 및 디자인된 구급자동차를 바탕으로 3D 설계 작업을 수행하였다. 또한, 차체 및 구급자동차 내부에 대하여 10G의 충격을 가한 후 이에 따른 구조해석 결과를 살펴보았다. 이때 부품의 자중과 구성품의 무게를 고려하여 유럽의 EN 규정에 따라 해석을 수행하였다. 구조해석 결과, 차량 내부의 프레임과 각종 파이프로 구성되어진 핸드레일은 비교적 큰 응력의 하중은 받지 않았으나 내장 판넬과 캐비넷류는 50MPa 이상의 큰 응력을 받는 것으로 해석되었다. 이에 따른 보강 설계를 실시하는 경우에는 두께 및 형상의 수정이 필요하다는 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 바탕으로 국내 구급자동차를 이용하는 구급대원 및 차량내부의 환자에게 보다 안전한 차량을 제작하는 기초자료가 될 수 있을 것이라 기대된다.
