The purpose of this study was to examine the effect on improving communication by conducting a tea culture convergence program for elderly people using facilities. The subjects of this study consisted of a tea culture convergence program for 3 months, 60 minutes once a week for 7 people using the Elderly Day Care Center in the H-S S welfare center. Psychological and behavioral changes related to communication by sessions were compared by comparing elderly patients at each session of the Tea Culture Convergence Program.Tea culture convergence program was found to have a positive effect on behaviors and attitudes related to communication among the elderly in the facilities. As a result of analyzing pre- and post-action and attitudes, the Tea Culture Convergence Program brought positive changes in communication by acting as emotional and social support for the elderly. These findings suggest that the Tea Culture Convergence Program is a psychologically necessary program for the elderly in that it shows that the Tea Culture Convergence Program is an effective program that promotes communication among the elderly in the facilities.

A diffractive optical element(DOE) for an optical pickup system is proposed in this thesis. Optimization algorithms are used to synthesise the DOE to meet a detailed specification of the two kind of cost function. The one isso called as apodization which refers to the process of suppressing the secondary maxima and the other is so called as sharpness which refers to the process of reducing the size of primary maxima. The result obtained by simplex optimization method is that the apodization and sharpness are well achieved separately. In apodization, the secondary maxima is reduced up to 39%. And in sharpness, the size of first maxima is reduced to 95.2％.

Incinerators generally emit pollutants such as NOx and CO during the combustion process. In this paper, pollutant emissions and temperature distributions were studied in a simulated incinerator with a reversed (relative to the flue gas flow) secondary air injection system. The experiments were performed by using a lab-scale furnace in order to evaluate the effects of the injection location, direction and flow rate of secondary air jets. The emission of NOx was lower in the case of reversed secondary air injection than in the case of cross injection, due to the recirculation and mixing of the exhaust gas. In the reversed air injection cases, thermal NOx emissions decreased as secondary air ratio increased from 30 to 60 and slightly increased at secondary air ratios higher than 60. In most cases, CO emissions were not detected except for a few reversed secondary air injection cases, in which cases CO concentrations below 2ppm were observed.

This study which is based on the Master's and Doctor's theses printed from the Korean liberation day to 2003. It has been carried out to research the trends of tea culture in Korea, by analyzing the current printing situations on the kinds of degrees, the chronicles of theses and tea culture. It has found out that the total number of the theses was 276, which of them were for a master's degree, up to $232(84\%)$. As for the printing time, it increased in the mids of 1990s and soared up sharply in 2003. For the fields, the theses on the efficacy of tea printed 178, which reached $64.4\%$, 148 of them were on the medical and pharmacological view and reached $83\%$. For the cultural view, the theses on reached only $6.9\%$. Recently, the theses on the marketing or the education of Da-do haven been increasing sharply.

With the 4th industry era, smart factories are emerging. In the era of multi-product small scale production, unmanned transportation vehicles are rapidly increasing in utilization of unmanned transportation vehicles that carry and arrange goods in the work space. The conventional unmanned vehicle detected its position by using the guided line method and the position based method for indoor location recognition and movement. This method has disadvantages of initial high cost and maintenance / maintenance. In this paper, to solve the disadvantages, the method of predicting the direct path of the unmanned vehicle through the Kalman filter is verified using the white LED marker of the warehouse and the position data and the image data of the white LED marker recognition image. Through this, the reliability of the linear movement which occupies the most part in the lattice structure is secured. It is also expected that the reliance on additional position sensors will also be reduced.

Effect of the roasted barley tea in commercial markets on the adherence to the saliva-coated hydroxyapatite(HA) beads and the cell surface hydrophobicity of Streptococcus mutans and Streptococcus sobrinus as cariogenic microorganism was examined in vitro. Adherence activity and hydrophobicity in bacteria tested in all the barley tea samples decreased and the values were different according to the type of tea and the type of treatment. The inhibition of bacterial adsorption to HA beads suggest that barley tea active molecules as catechins and melanoidins may adsorb to a host surface, preventing the tooth receptor from interacting with any bacterial adhesions. The obtained results showed that the barley tea may inhibit bacterial adherence, the first step of the pathogenesis of dental caries in which these microorganism are involved.
