  • This study is to analyze the concentration of visual perception of the subject through the eye-tracking experiments targeting popular characters and to investigate it is effective to highlight which part of the character in inducing consumers' interest and curiosity. As a result of the study, the subjects paid more attention to the face than the character's body, and also noted a little attention to auxiliary elements such as pants, tees, shoes, and whiskers. These results mean there is clearly different factor in which the subject's gaze on the character frequently stays and does for a long time. Therefore, the designers should recognize the differences of the concentration of visual perception by character components as a differentiating factor to feel the emotional satisfaction such as the user's interest, empathy, and immersion in the character and actively reflect it when developing the character design. In addition, there was a difference in the visual perception concentration of each of the auxiliary elements, and if careful research is done on whether the influence factors are also due to individual characteristics or another influential factors, it will be a wider study on character design.

  • Purpose: This study examined dietary and health characteristics of the young-old and the old-old by food security status. Methods: The study used data from the $6^{th}$ (2013 ~ 2015) Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. The study subjects consisted of 3,948 subjects, of whom 2,445 were the young-old (aged 65 to 74 years) and 1,503 were the old-old (aged 75 years and over). Food security status was evaluated using an 18-item questionnaire. Energy intake, nutrient densities, and prevalence of insufficient nutrient intake were assessed. Food intake was evaluated in terms of the number of food group servings. Dietary behaviors and health status were also assessed. Results: The prevalence of food insecurity among the young-old and the old-old was 10.0% and 11.6%, respectively. Among the young-old, the food insecure group had a significantly higher level of prevalence of insufficient intake for all the nutrients (protein, vitamin A, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin C, calcium, phosphorous, and iron) assessed in this study compared with the food secure group. In case of the old-old, significant differences were found only for four nutrients (protein, riboflavin, niacin, and phosphorus) in the prevalence of insufficient nutrient intake between the food secure and the food insecure groups. Kinds of food groups with significantly different numbers of servings by food security status were dissimilar between the two age groups. In both the age groups, the food insecure group consumed a significantly lower number of servings in meat fish eggs legumes and fruits than the food secure group; grains and vegetables intake in the young-old and oils sweets intake in the old-old differed in the number of servings by food security status. Among the young-old, the prevalence of chewing difficulties in the food insecure group was significantly higher than that of the food secure group, while among the old-old, no significant differences were found by food security status. Conclusion: Dietary and health characteristics of the young-old and the old-old differed by food security status. Such differences were more apparent in the young-old than the old-old. Therefore, it is suggested that food and nutrition assistant programs should be designed with consideration of the differences.

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to evaluate nutritional status in middle-class adults compared with low income or high income adults according to gender difference. Methods: Data from the 2012 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey was used. A total of 7,082 adults aged from 30 to 64 were included and classified according to household income level into three groups. Dietary data was collected using 24-hr recall methods. Results: Most nutrients including energy, protein, vitamins, and minerals such as iron and calcium differed according to income levels. Iron intake of middle-class men was higher than that of the lowest income group, whereas that of middle-class women was similar to that of the lowest income group. In addition, no significant difference in carbohydrate, protein, fat, thiamin, and niacin intakes per 1,000 kcal and iron intake was found between the middle and high income group only in male subjects. In summary, our results showed that the relationship between nutritional status and income level as a socioeconomic parameter could vary according to gender difference. Conclusion: According to our results, it could be suggested that not only the lowest income people but also middle class women should be concerned in development of nutritional policies. Gender difference should be considered. It is a very meaningful implication for application to policy for obesity prevention or intervention.

To achieve the purpose, 255 security martial arts trainees' data were used in the analysis. In addition, In addition, the AMOS 20.0 program was used for unidimensionality validation, and take advantage of the Facets 3.61 program for goodness-of-fit verification. Specific results are as follows: First, Unidimensionali test results showed that model fit, reliability and standardized ${\beta}$ value are suitable. Second, the analysis results of goodness-of-fit, items 1, 2, 3 are inadequate, 4, 8, 11, 13, 14 items once found to be over-fit questions. Also, analysis of item difficulty, item 1 has highest difficulty and item 7 was lowest. Third, According Facets item difficulty and response difference verification result, female group exhibited a high level of item difficulty compared to the male group, goodness-of-fit was all accurate. As the result of item difficulty and response difference verification based on Martial arts training flow, there is no response difference according to the training experience. On the other hands, less than 4 years to 5 years and less than 5 years to 6 years trainees represented over-fit features. Results of item difficulty and response difference verification by grade level, first grade was the most highly recognized the item difficulty and fourth grade was also recognized the lowest of item difficulty Fourth, the response category analysis showed that the six points response categories are not appreciate.

After a survey was conducted, the answer sheets from 451 students were analyzed except 49 incomplete ones. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS Ver. 12.0 program. Frequency analysis, t-test and one-way ANOVA were utilized, and LSD and regression analysis were employed to make a post-hoc comparison. All the hypotheses formulated in this study were verified at the a=.05(Chronbach's alpha) level of significance. The findings of the study were as follows: First, as for relations between demographic characteristics and self- realization, the college students investigated were statistically different according to gender in three subvariables of self-realization that included ability development, ability display and attainment of ideal. Age and academic year made a significant difference to their ability development and attainment of ideal, and they differed statistically significantly in terms of ability development according to black lebel test. Second, concerning connections between the degree of martial-arts training and self-realization, training term, one of the subvariables of the degree of martial-arts training had a positive correlation to their ability development and attainment of ideal at the 5% level of significance, and training time was positively correlated to their ability development at the 5% level of significance. Third, training term, one of the subvariables of the degree of martial- arts training, had an impact on ability development, and that exerted a firsthand influence on attainment of ideal as well.

And The result of analysis on second research question, come out statistically significant, too. Socioeconomic status: the lower class, physical condition: bad health, chronic disease is or not, family and other people's social supports, disability: serious turn out to be factors in common.
