Outsourcing, importing of publishing metadata and revitalizing copy cataloging have reduced importance of traditional cataloging. Request of interoperability between other communities and business integration of related system also have changed the meaning of library catalog. Furthermore, newly declared principle and rules are totally different to existing AACR, MARC, measures to cataloging education for next generation seems to be urgently needed. In this study, firstly put together a series of discussion about future cataloging and new role of cataloging librarian, and secondly basis on it, suggest direction of cataloging education course which divided two sectors. One is for students who are undergraduated, and another is for current cataloger at working level. In basic training, it should contain principle of knowledge organization and diverse resources and its relationship, encoding scheme and its practice. The other hand, in re-education training, it should include that re-recognition about new concept of bibliographic world, changing vocabulary and encoding scheme, furthermore metadata scheme about diverse resources which library have accepted, and its integration.

This study aims to design and implement the finger gesture recognizing system that automatically recognizes finger gestures input through a camera and controls the computer. Common CCD cameras were redesigned as infrared light cameras to acquire the images. The recorded images go through the pre-process to find the hand features, the finger gestures are read accordingly, and an event takes place for the follow-up mouse controlling and presentation, and finally the way to control computers is suggested. The finger gesture recognizing system presented in this study has been verified as the next-generation interface to replace the mouse and keyboard for the future information-based units.

Information system development projects are increasingly enlarging in size and are becoming more complex in the development environment. The traditional approaches for the development of information system, however, haven't shown the expected performances in the management for them and many researchers have been trying to find a new approach for overcoming this challenges. And one of the new approaches is the PMO and it is introduced to solve the problems of project management and the related organizational, technical, and administrative problems. This study attempted to find the efficient information system establishment plan. In particular, this study wants to research the practicality of PMO and the detailed utilization plans. As a result, this study proposes the structure of project implementation, the requirements, the direction of the basic system design, the scope of system development, and the budgeting for the systems. It is expected to contribute the successful implementation of the project.

모바일 인터넷과 다양한 정보단말기의 보급, 소프트웨어 플랫폼의 다양화와 복잡도가 증가하면서 소프트웨어 간에 상호운용성과 이식성의 결여로 인해 플랫폼 독립적인 새로운 소프트웨어 개발 방법이 필요하다. 또한 특정 플랫폼에서 개발된 소프트웨어들은 특정 단말기를 통해 연동되므로 차세대 컨버전스 기술을 위한 미들웨어 융합에 관한 연구도 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 플랫폼 독립적인 소프트웨어 개발과 변환을 위해 MDA 기반 소프트웨어 지원 도구 개발과 다양한 플랫폼을 지원하는 미들웨어 융합 시스템 개발 및 모바일 컨버전스 임베디드 소프트웨어 품질 보증에 대한 연구를 통해 차세대 품질보장형 모바일 컨버전스 서비스 제공을 위한 기본적인 기능 구조를 제공하고자 한다.

ATM망은 차세대 초고속 정보 통신망 구축에서 핵심적인 역할을 담당할 것이다. ATM망은 53Byte단위의 셀을 전송단위로 망의 효율을 높이고 초고속망을 지원하기 위해 하드웨어적 스위치 시스템을 가지게 될 것으로 예측한다. 이러한 망을 최적으로 관리하고 이용하기 위해서 망에 대한 모델링과 망에 입력되는 트래픽, 즉 소스에 대한 모델링이 주요한 이슈로 대두되었다. 또한 초고속 ATM망을 이용하여 차세대 영상서비스를 제공하는 것과 관련된 연구분야가 현재 활발히 진행중이다. 본 연구에서는 ATM망을 이용한 비디오 서비스에 핵심적인 역할을 담당하고 있는 비디오 신호원의 VBR 및 CBR 특성에 대한 분석과 그에 따른 새로운 모델을 제시하고자 한다.

This paper proposes an algorithm of address analysis for the next-generation networks. That is, we present integrated address analysis of the Numbering Plans of public telecommunication networks such as those of the ATM network. The purpose of implementing software for integrated address analysis is to actively and flexibly cope with a large change of information while operating the system and the network. By designing and implementing a database structure and an address analysis algorithm, interworking is possible among part (local) networks that each have a different Addressing Plan within an integrated network. Proposed relational model database structure has effect that do to manage address information of complicated network efficiently. Also, apply in real environment and proved excellency through interworking test to verify mechanism that propose.
