A study on the effect of ERP Construction strategy and IT Consulting Service Quality on Performance (ERP 구축 전략과 IT컨설팅 서비스품질이 도입 성과에 미치는 영향)

  • It is aimed at providing a guide for effective ERP implementation strategy in view of the need for differentiation and cost advantage strategy from competitors in introducing ERP centered on SMEs. The results show that differentiation and cost superiority and service quality are dependent on the introduction performance and mediating effect. First, the differentiation or cost advantage strategy supports the previous research results in financial performance. However, in the differentiation strategies, only the non-financial aspects were noted. Second, the differentiation and cost advantage strategy were analyzed to have financial performance only in the assurance of service quality factor and the remaining service quality was not significant in the introduction performance. Third, the mediating effect of consulting service quality was analyzed in terms of differentiation or cost advantage Did not do it. In conclusion, system construction is different from financial perspective in terms of construction strategy. In service quality factor, it affects the confidence that supplier provides, knowledge and confidence, and ability to give faith.

Design of a Forwarding Engine Supporting Application-based Differential Services in MPLS ATM System (MPLS ATM 시스템에서 응용 기반 차별화 서비스를 지원하는 포워딩 엔진의 설계)

  • A number of MPLS ATM systems have been proposed to increase the access speed of current rooters, which only support the beat-effort service. However, the MPLS ATM systems have to support the so-called differential service, which discriminates the applications according to the servile clads because they do not be satisfied the Internet users who use diverse applications. In this paper, to support this differential service a detailed forwarding procedure based on a LSP control method and an application-based marking algorithm is suggested. The LSP control method establishes several different LSPs for each FEC according to the service class and the application-based marking algorithm chooses a proper differential service depending on the application category. Also, a design scheme of forwarding engine, which can be easily implemented with a minimum modification of existing MPLS ATM systems is proposed. And, the best simulation result of high priority application category is gained when the proposed forwarding algorithm is compared with existing algorithms.

  • 인터넷의 발전으로 인하여 여러 가지 서비스가 가능하게 되었고, 이러한 서비스들은 서로 다른 서비스 품질(QoS)이 요구된다. 따라서 이러한 QoS를 제공하기 위해 차별화 서비스(Differentiated Service)의 연구가 진행되고 있다. 이 논문에서는 차별화 서비스중 보장형 서비스에서 공평성에 관한 문제로 지적되고 있는 bandwidth skew problem의 문제를 최소화하기 위한 기법을 제시한다. 이 논문에서는 bandwidth skew problem의 현상을 확인하고 제안한 기법이 기존의 기법보다 공평성 측면에서 개선된 성능을 제공함을 보였다.

  • The web services concept is rising as a standard to integrate heterogeneous systems in distributed environment based on XML messaging. Recently, for that reason, many companies are trying to use web services for their B2C and B2B business. In order to successfully introduce the web services, it is required to guarantee a differentiated quality of web services. However, most of the current web services cannot provide differentiated policies for requested messages and the existing web servers cannot consider appropriately the quality factors of web services in the service level agreement between provider and consumer. In this paper, we analyzed appropriate quality factors of web services in application level and suggested priority allocation strategy for processes dealing with messages of web services using those factors. This strategy can allocate dynamically a priority to satisfy the service level agreement.

  • This paper discusses a testbed architecture for implementing scalable service differentiation in the Internet. The differentiated services (DiffServ) testbed architecture is based on a model in which a bandwidth broker (BB) can control network resources, and the ALTQ can reserve resources in a router to guarantee a Quality of Service (QoS) for incoming traffic to the testbed. The reservation and releasemessage for the ALTQ is contingent upon a decision message in the BE. The BB has all the information in advance, which is required for a decision message, in the form of PIB. A signaling protocol between the BB and the routers is the COPS protocol proposed at the IETF. In terms of service differentiation, a user should make an SLA in advance, and reserve required bandwidth through an RAR procedure. The SLA and RAR message between a user and the BB has implemented with the COPS extension which was used between a router and the BB. We evaluates the service differentiation for the video streaming in that the EF class traffic shows superb performance than the BE class traffic where is a network congestion. We also present the differentiated service showing a better packet receiving rate, low packet loss, and low delay for the EF class video service.

  • 인터넷 사용자들의 증가로 인해 신뢰성 있는 차별화된 고품질의 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는, 사용자와 서비스 제공자 간의 SLA(Service Level Agreement)를 고려한 웹 서버 클러스터의 부하 분산 기능은 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 이질 웹 서비스 환경에서 SLA 를 만족시켜주는 동적 부하분산 기법을 연구하였으며, 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해 기존의 정적 기법 보다 웹 서버의 응답시간(Response Time)성능이 개선되는 것을 확인하였다.

BcN에서의 QoS 보장형 차별화 서비스 제공을 위한 Inter-Domain 네트워킹 기술

  • 광대역 유선통신망과 무선통신망이 통합되고, 통신과 방송이 융합되는 BcN 환경에서는 서비스 품질(QoS)이 보장되는 다양한 종류의 멀티미디어 서비스가 제공될 수 있어야하며, 다수의 통신방사업자가 제공하는 BcN들 간에 QoS 보장형 차별화서비스 제공을 위한 inter-domain 트래픽 엔지니어링 기능이 제공되어야한다. 특히, BcN 구축 초기 단계에서는 각 통신망 사업자가 개별적으로 구축 및 운영하는 BcN의 NNI signaling과 망운용관리 기능에 많은 차이점이 존재할 것으로 예상되기 때문에, 이들을 효율적으로 연동시킬 수 있는 inter-domain networking 기능 구현방안이 상세히 연구되어야한다. 본 논문에서는 BcN 환경에서의 QoS 보장형 차별화서비스제공을 위한 inter-domain 네트워킹 기술에 대하여 각 영역별로 살펴보며, 상용 BcN간 연동에 적용될 수 있는 트래픽 엔지니어링 및 관련 구현 기술에 대하여 살펴본다. Inter-domain networking 기능 모델로는 유럽연합(EU)의 IP Premium 프로젝트의 일환으로 개발된 MESCAL (Management of End-to-End Quality of Service Across the Internet at Large)을 분석하며, 세부 기능 구현 방안으로 MPLS NNI signaling 기반의 제어정면 연동방안, Web service 구조와 XML 기반의 망운용관리 평면 연동기능 구현 방안에 대하며 살펴본다.

  • 최근 통신업계에서 앞으로 가장 주목받을 만한 기술로 BcN(Broadcast Convergence Network)기반 IMS(IP Multimedia Subsystem)를 꼽고 있다. 통신업계는 지금까지 빠른 기술성장과 함께 많은 이익을 창출하였다. 그러나 현재 통신사의 가입자의 수는 물론 ARPU(Average Revenue Per User)역시 정체기를 맞고 있다. 때문에 통신업계들은 BcN환경 기반 IMS구조로 사용자의 요구에 맞도록 차별화된 서비스를 제공함으로써 이익을 창출하고 앞으로도 지속 가능한 성장을 하기 위해 이에 대한 연구를 활발히 하고 있다. 하지만 현재 IMS의 구조로는 사용자들에게 차별화된 서비스를 제공하는데 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 사용자들에게 차별화된 서비스를 제공하기 위해 BcN 환경에서 통합 서비스를 제공 하기 위한 전체 Enabler구조와 Enabler에서 상황에 따른 데이터처리 기법에 대해서 제시하고자 한다.

  • Traditional Internet services provide the same level of qualify to all users without considering about their application's QoS (quality of service) requirements. Because the wireless and Internet technologies are evolving rapidly, the powerful mobile devices are more widely used. Therefore, the new applications such as DMB (digital multimedia broadcasting), VoD (video on demand), telemedicine, and etc. demand appropriate QoS and host mobility. To satisfy free mobility and QoS, we deploy Diffserv (differentiated services) model to the mobile IPv6 networks. We propose the operational procedures and cost analyzing models for providing an MN's mobility and QoS. Also its performance is presented by cost analyzing and the future works are described.

Wireless Packet Scheduling Algorithm for Delay Proportional Internet Differentiated Services (무선 망에서의 지연 비례 인터넷 차별화 서비스 제공을 위한 스케줄링 알고리즘)

  • In this paper, we propose a wireless scheduling algorithm to provide the Internet delay proportional differentiated services in wireless networks. For considering network environments that have burst and location-dependent channel errors, our proposed WDPS(Wireless Delay Proportional Service) scheduling algorithm adaptively serves packets in class queues based on the delivered delay performance for each class. The remarkable characteristics of WDPS scheduler are supporting a fair relative delay service, providing graceful throughput and delay compensation, and avoiding class queue blocking problem. Through simulations, we show that the algorithm achieves the desirable properties to provide delay proportional services in wireless networks.
