'판화 예술 책-예술가가 만든 책전' 이모저모

  • 책은 무형의 지식과 정보를 담으면서 동시에 물리적인 형태를 지닌다. 정신과 물질을 동시에 갖춘 이 매력적인 형태의 책은, 그래서 예부터 예술적 심미의 대상이 돼왔다. 국내 판화가를 비롯한 예술가들이 책을 테마로 한 작품을 모아 전시한 '판화 예술 책'전이 지난 2월12일부터 12일간 서울 종로구 한국문화예술진흥원(원장 차범석) 미술관에서 열렸다. 김찬동(작가).임영길(홍익대 판화과 교수).고충환(미술평론가) 등이 기획을 맡고 50여 작가가 참여한 이번 전시회에는 오브제로서 책이 지니는 특성에 착안해 무한한 상상을 펼친 실험적인 작품들이 많이 선보였다. 책의 소재인 종이, 종이의 원료인 펄프와 수제종이에 주목하거나, 책이란 정보를 담아내는 그릇이란 점에 착안하며, 정보를 전달하는 운송기능에 초점을 맞추는 등 다양한 형식의 작품들이 눈길을 끌었다. 그 가운데 몇 작품을 소개한다.

Size-based separation of microscale droplets by surface acoustic wave-induced acoustic radiation force (표면파 유도 음향방사력을 이용한 미세액적의 크기 선별)

  • In droplet microfluidics, precise droplet manipulation is required in numerous applications. This study presents ultrasonic surface acoustic wave (USAW)-based microfluidic device for label-free droplet separation based on size. The proposed device is composed of a slanted-finger interdigital transducer on a piezoelectric substrate and a polydimethylsiloxane microchannel placed on the substrate. The microchannel is aligned in the cross-type configuration where the USAWs propagate in a perpendicular direction to the flow in the microchannel. When droplets are exposed to an acoustic field, they experience the USAW-induced acoustic radiation force (ARF), whose magnitude varies depending on the droplet size. We modeled the USAW-induced ARF based on ray acoustics and conducted a series of experiments to separate different-sized droplets. We found that the experimental results were in good agreement with the theoretical estimation. We believe that the proposed method will serve as a promising tool for size-based droplet separation in a label-free manner.

  • This manuscript proposes an artificial intelligence-based(AI) energy platform system that efficiently use existing energy than creating new energy than creating new energy sources. To this end, it collects public information data portal and statistics data portal and data emissions, including energy usage and greenhouse gas emissions, including energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.In addition, it provides strong security and personal information protection functions to overcome the limit of existing energy platform. Through the built energy platform, improving power supply and user convenience of users and users to contribute to global warming issues.In this paper, the contents to implement the contents of the system, and improvement direction from the future completion and improvement direction.

Application of a Undaria pinnatifida for industrial cultivation of Lactobacillus (유산균의 산업적 배양을 위한 미역의 유용성 평가)

  • To optimize the medium composition of Undaria pinnatifida as a pH modulator the growth of Lactobacillus plantarum industrial scale, we analyzed the pH and growth characteristics of L. plantarum in basal medium. Subsequently, the medium compositions addition of carbon, nitrogen sources and buffering agents were optimized. When 0.5% yeast extract and 2% glucose, L. plantarum grew to maximum cell density in experimental condition. However, the growth of L. plantarum rapidly pH 4.0 in basal medium. A high alkali-ash value and low cost-effective utilization n the waste part as examined. ddition of U. pinnatifida extract alleviated the serious decrease. Among them, juice of U. pinnatifida was most helpful for the growth of L. plantarum ($36.3{\pm}1.810^8CFU/mL$). These results show that U. pinnatifida be large-scale cultivation of L. plantarum. This optimized U. pinnatifida medium can be used for safe and economical production of Lactobacillus.

Optimization of Culture Condition for Enhancing the Probiotics Functions (프로바이오틱스의 기능성 향상을 위한 배양법)

  • The functions of probiotics, particularly Lactic acid bacteria, have been studied in a range of human diseases, including cancer, infectious diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, and allergies. Among the many benefits associated with the consumption of probiotics, modulation of immune activity has received the most attention. This study aimed at investigating the improved immune stimulatory and stability of L. plantarum when cultivated on modified basal media supplemented with the Undaria pinnatifida co-cultured with L. plantarum. An in vitro test showed that U. pinnatifida media cultured L. plantarum is strong enough to survive in the gastric juice (gastric and bile acid). Mouse macrophage-derived cell lines RAW 264.7 was used to measured immune stimulating activity of L. plantarum. When U. pinnatifida media cultured by L. plantarum was NO and $TNF-{\alpha}$ production is significantly increased compared to basal media cultured L. plantarum. These results show that U. pinnatifida could be applied for a component for cultivation of L. plantarum. This optimized U. pinnatifida medium can be used the improving of stability and immune function on production of probiotics.
