  • 본 논문은 GPS 수신기와 CDMA 통신모듈을 장착한 이동단말기를 대상으로 자신의 위치를 Windows Mobile 운영체제의 API를 통해 중앙의 서버에게 전송하는 프레임워크를 설계하고 구현한다. 단말기 소프트웨어는 자원의 효율적인 사용과 확장성을 위하여 GPS 쓰레드, 통신 쓰레드 등으로 구성되어 미동기적으로 GPS 위치 정보를 공유 자료구조에 저장하고 응용에서 정의한 주기에 의해 중앙서버에게 보고한다. 서버는 이를 받아 위치로그의 생성, 이동객체 위치 트래킹을 위한 가시화 등 다양한 응용을 작성할 수 있게 된다. Garmin 포맷의 분석, RAS에 기반한 CDMA 통신, 쓰레드 처리, 서버의 로그 생성 등 핵심적인 요소들의 구현에 의해 차량 텔레매틱스 등 다양한 위치기반 응용을 작성할 수 있도록 한다.

A Study on the Structural Strength of the Rolling Stock Seat Frame (유한요소해석을 이용한 철도차량 시트프레임의 정적 강도 평가에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, the structural strengths of a rolling stock seat were numerically evaluated under several design load conditions based on the UIC requirements. The rolling stock seat was designed for the high speed train of a Chinese conventional line. To maximize its weight reduction and structural strength, some aluminium alloys like 6N01-T5 and ALDC8-T5 were applied to the base frame, side frame and armrest. The designed seat frame satisfied the strength requirements on inertia loads due to accelerations, and fatigue test conditions. However, it violated the requirements on the static test of UIC 566 OR. Some design modifications were suggested and numerically evaluated to satisfy the static test requirements.

  • 최근 다양한 분야의 기반기술이 융합된 형태의 서비스로 텔레매틱스와 관련한 기술개발이 활발히 진행되고 있으며 이와 관련한 기술표준화도 활발히 추진 중에 있다. 본 연구에서는 텔레매틱스 기술 표준화를 위한 기술 프레임워크인 텔레매틱스 참조모델에 대한 개념과 구성요소를 살펴보고 있다. 텔레매틱스 참조모델에서는 텔레매틱스의 주요 구성요소로 텔레매틱스 클라이언트, 통신망 그리고 텔레매틱스 서버 부문으로 구성요소를 분류하였다. 텔레매틱스 클라이언트는 통합측위장치, 차량장치, 텔레매틱스 단말의 세가지로 구성된다. 텔레매틱스 통신망은 다양한 통신 인프라(CDMA, WLAN, DMB, WiBro 등)의 Seamless 통신이 지원이 가능해야 한다. 텔레매틱스 서버는 텔레매틱스 서비스 제공을 위한 TSP 서버와 텔레매틱스 서비스를 위한 컨텐츠 정보를 수집-가공-제공하는 CP 서버로 분류하였다. 이러한 본 연구 결과는 향후 텔레매틱스 기술 개발 및 표준 추진의 제반 아키텍쳐로 활용이 가능할 것으로 예상된다.

  • In the single type mechanical compressor mounted on the refrigerated vehicle, one compressor is responsible for the refrigerator function of the air conditioner and the refrigerator, so it is difficult to maintain a certain refrigeration temperature in the summer. Particularly, in a mechanical compressor using an engine as a power source, the refrigeration quality is deteriorated due to unstable rotation of the engine. In this paper, we propose a three - phase inverter of a dual compressor system that uses an electric compressor separately from a mechanical compressor of a refrigerated vehicle. The output characteristics of the developed inverter were verified through a vehicle air conditioning simulator.

  • 오늘날 차량은 고성능화 및 이용자의 편의를 증진시키기 위하여 다양한 전자장비가 탑재 되고 있다. 이러한 전자장비들을 효율적으로 제어하기 위하여 신뢰성이 입증된 CAN(controller Area Network)이 보편적으로 적용된다. 또한 수신만 가능한 노드(node)는 기존시스템에 추가가 가능하지만 송 수신을 항수 있는 노드를 추가 하는 경우에는 전체 시스템을 변경 시스템을 변경 시스템을 변경해야 하는 경우가 발생할 수 있다. 이러한 특징을 해결하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 CAN 코디네이터(Coordinator)라는 새로운 컴포넌트를 제안하고 이를 기반으로 긴급메시지에 대한 전송지연 개선 및 플러그 앤 플레이 기능을 가능케하는 새로운 CAN 프레임워크를 제안한다.

  • Recently, the bogie frame weight of Light Rail Transit system has been reduced in order to save energy and materials. However, this light weighted vehicle structure is very important to verify the fatigue strength at the development stage. Bogie system consists of bogie frame, suspensions, wheel-sets, braking system and transmission system. Among these components, the bogie frame is most significant component subjected to the whole vehicle and passenger loads. In this study, the bogie frame for the New LRT power car is evaluated to the static and fatigue strength. And the evaluation method is used the LRT Performance Test Standards Specification throughout the FEM analysis and static load test. The static and fatigue test results for the LRT bogie frame of power car has been appeared very safety and stable for the design load conditions.

  • 타이젠(Tizen)은 Linux 오픈 소스와 그리고 웹기반의 모바일 운영체제이다. 삼성전자와 인텔, 리눅스 재단(Linux Foundation)이 주도하고 여러 협회사들이 참가하여 개발이 진행 되었다. Tizen은 태블릿컴퓨터, 넷북, 스마트폰, 스마트 TV, 차량용 인포테인먼트 시스템(In-Vehicle Infortainment)등에 사용할 수 있도록 설계 되었다. Tizen 이 Linux 와 오픈 소스에 기반을 두고 있다는 점은 안드로이드(Android)와 유사하다. 하지만 Tizen 의 응용프로그램 개발을 위한 소프트웨어 프레임워크는 주로 W3C(World Wide Web Consortium)의 웹표준과 WAC(Wholesale Application Community)의 웹기술에 기반을 두고 있으며 그 밖에도 Tizen 고유의 기술도 사용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 Tizen 의 응용프로그램인 Tizen 웹어플리케이션의 특징과 구성에 대해서 살펴 본다. 마지막으로 안드로이드 응용프로그램과 비교하여 장단점을 조명해 본다.

  • The IEEE 802.11 standard has been used for wireless data networks such as wireless LAN, ad-hoc network, and vehicular ad-hoc network. Thus, the performance analysis of the IEEE 802.11 specification has been one of the hottest issues for network optimization and resource management. Most of the analysis studies were performed in a data plane of the IEEE 802.11 unicast. However, IEEE 802.11 broadcast is widely used for topology management, path management, and data dissemination. Thus, it is important to understand the performance of the broadcast scheme for the design of efficient wireless data network. In this contort, we analyze the IEEE 802.11 broadcast scheme in terms of the broadcast frame reception probability according to the distance from a sending node. Unlike the other works, our analysis framework includes not only the system parameters of the IEEE 802.11 specification such as transmission range, data rate, minimum contention window but also the networking environments such as the number of nodes, network load, and the radio propagation environments. Therefore, our analysis framework is expected to be used for the development of protocols and algorithms in a dynamic wireless data network.

Evaluation of Running Performance of the Composite Bogie under Different Side Beam Stiffness (사이드 빔 강성에 따른 복합소재 대차의 주행성능 평가)

  • In this study, a running performance evaluation and roller rig test was conducted to evaluate the applicability of a composite bogie frame, which has the role of the primary suspension. The composite bogie frame was made of a GEP224 glass/epoxy prepreg. Vehicle dynamic analysis was carried out on the composite bogie with three different kinds of side beam thicknesses (50 mm, 80 mm, and 150 mm). From the results, the composite bogie with a side beam thickness of 80 mm satisfied all the dynamic design requirements. Although the composite bogie with the side beam thickness of 50mm also met the design requirements, its critical speed was just a 2% margin to the requirement. In contrast, the model of the side beam thickness of 150mm did not meet the ride comfort. In addition, a composite bogie frame with the side beam thickness of 80 mm was fabricated and installed on a complete bogie. Moreover, the roller rig test using the fully equipped bogie was performed to evaluate the critical speed. During the test, the lateral excitation was imposed on the wheelsets to realize the rail irregularity. There was no divergence of the lateral displacement of the wheelsets while increasing the speed. The measured critical speed was similar to the predicted result.

A Framework of Test Scenario Development for Issuance of Conditional Driver's Licenses for Elderly Drivers (고령 운전자 조건부 운전면허 발급을 위한 평가 시나리오 개발 프레임워크)

  • The purpose of this study was to propose a framework for developing test scenarios for issuance of conditional driver's licenses. The framework was composed of five stages. Initially, we reviewed the literature on traffic crash characteristics in terms of accident frequency and severity regarding the main factors of crashes caused by older drivers. In the second stage, the characteristics of crashes attributed to non-elderly, early elderly, and late elderly drivers were analyzed using data obtained from the Traffic Accident Analysis System (TAAS), and crash types for elderly drivers were derived. In the third stage, black box videos of high-risk crash types were analyzed to derive crash stories that described the circumstances in which crashes occurred. In the fourth step, crash situations were classified by rating the types of crash stories derived to develop various scenarios. Step 5 involved creating a scenario by applying the PEGASUS 5-Layer format, which has recently been used to develop test scenarios for autonomous vehicles. The results of this study are expected to be used as a basis for developing driving ability evaluation scenarios for the issuance of conditional driver's licenses.
