  • 국내에서는 철도차량의 화재안전성능을 향상시키기 위해 성능평가를 적용하기 위한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 철도차량에서의 화재 시 피난은 여러 가지 시나리오들이 존재하며, 이중 하나가 터널내부에서 정전이 되어 무조명상태가 되는 것이다. 철도차량은 물리적 공간적 환경이 건축물과 차이가 있다. 또한 문화적 인종적 차이로 인해 외국의 데이터를 바로 적용하는 것도 바람직한 일은 아니다. 그러므로 시나리오를 분석하기 위해 필요한 데이터는 실험을 통해 확보해야할 필요성이 있는 것이다. 무조명 상태에서의 피난인의 행태와 이동속도의 차이 등을 분석하기 위해 실험을 수행하고 그 결과를 분석해 보았다.

  • AC 및 DC 전력공급구간에서 모두 주행이 가능한 AC/DC 철도차량은 추진제어장치 내부에 컨버터 및 인버터가 모두 구성되어 있다. 따라서 DC 철도차량에 비해서 구성이 복잡하며 각 전력공급 환경에 적합한 인버터 제어 방법이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 각 전력공급구간에서 고려되어야 할 사항과 이에 대한 인버터 제어 방법에 대하여 기술하고 서울 1호선 및 4호선 철도차량에 적용한 결과를 분석하였다.

  • 철도 분야에서도 환경 보호 및 에너지 절감을 위한 경량화 연구가 활발히 진행 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 철도차량의 보조전원장치 경량화에 대해 설명 한다. 기존의 철도차량의 보조전원 장치는 내부 필터 리액터, 변압기 등이 중량의 상당한 부분을 차지 하고 있고, 이는 시스템 중량 저감을 위한 고민에서 가장 큰 위치를 차지 한다. 본 논문에서는 공진형 컨버터를 사용하고 스위칭 주파수를 높여 필터 리액터, 변압기 등을 경량화 하였다. 150kW급 시제품에 대한 모의해석과 실험을 통해 입증 하였다.

  • 활선차량의 붐 끝단에 탑재되어 있는 로봇의 기준좌표계는 활선차량의 접근 위치와 붐의 확장 길이 및 각도에 따라 달라지므로 작업대상물과 로봇 사이의 상대 위치를 찾아내어 설정된 작업 경로를 보정하여야만 한다. 본 논문에서는 작업대상물인 애자 영상으로부터 카메라를 보정하는 기법을 제시하여 활선작업 차량의 붐 끝단에 장착된 로봇의 위치 및 자세를 측정할 수 있도록 하였다. 이를 위하여 핀홀 카메라 모델을 적용하였으며 원기둥 형태의 애자 영상으로부터 카메라 내부 파라미터 및 외부 파라미터를 추출하였다. 제시된 기법은 시뮬레이션을 통하여 효용성을 입증하였다.

  • 소프트웨어의 구조가 복합해짐에 따라 소프트웨어를 모델링하고 개발하는 과정을 지원하는 CASE 도구의 중요성이 급격하게 증가하고 있다. 자동차 분야 또한 기능이 복잡해짐에 따라 내부의 전자 장비를 제어하는 소프트웨어의 복잡성이 크게 증가하였고 이로 인해 객체지향적인 소프트웨어 모델링 도구의 필요성이 대두되었다. AUTOSAR는 자동차 소프트웨어 구조에 대한 표준을 정의하고 있다. 현재 유럽에서는 dSPACE, Vector 등의 업체에서 AUTOSAR 표준에 기반한 차량용 소프트웨어 모델링 도구의 프로토타입을 개발한 상태이다. 하지만 국내에서는 이러한 도구에 대한 연구가 아직 초기단계이다. 본 논문에서는 다이어그램 편집기 개발 프레임워크를 제공하는 이클립스 GMF를 이용하여 AUTOSAR 표준기반의 차량용 소프트웨어 모델링 도구를 개발한다.

Research on Vehicle Diagnostic and Monitoring technology Using WiBro Portable Device (와이브로 휴대기기를 사용한 차량진단 및 모니터링 기술에 관한 연구)

  • This is concerned with the technology to monitor the vehicle operation, failure and disorder by using WiBro portable device. More precisely, the technology makes it possible that the information collection device is connected to both ECU(Electronic Control Unit) which is the device for controlling engine, transmission, brake, air-bag, etc that are connected to in-vehicle network and OBD-II connector that is for data collection from various sensors. In addition, with a WiBro portable device (cell phone, PDA, PMP, UMPC, etc). equipped with a vehicle diagnostic programs, information for operation, failure and malfunction can be obtained and analyzed in real-time, and alarm is alerted when the vehicle is in abnormal status, which makes the early reactions to the status. Furthermore, the collected data can be sent through WiBro network to the server managed by the company specialized in managing the vehicles, thus the technology could help the drivers who have less knowledge about their auto-vehicles have safe and economic driving. There is always a possibility of malfunction due to various types of noise that are caused by wring-harness when the device is wired-connected. In this research, in order to overcome this problem, we propose a system configuration that can do monitoring and diagnosis with a device for collecting data from vehicle and a personal WiBro device. Also, we performed research on data acquisition and interlock for the system defined by the definition for information and data sharing platform.

A Design of the Vehicle Crisis Detection System(VCDS) based on vehicle internal and external data and deep learning (차량 내·외부 데이터 및 딥러닝 기반 차량 위기 감지 시스템 설계)

  • Currently, autonomous vehicle markets are commercializing a third-level autonomous vehicle, but there is a possibility that an accident may occur even during fully autonomous driving due to stability issues. In fact, autonomous vehicles have recorded 81 accidents. This is because, unlike level 3, autonomous vehicles after level 4 have to judge and respond to emergency situations by themselves. Therefore, this paper proposes a vehicle crisis detection system(VCDS) that collects and stores information outside the vehicle through CNN, and uses the stored information and vehicle sensor data to output the crisis situation of the vehicle as a number between 0 and 1. The VCDS consists of two modules. The vehicle external situation collection module collects surrounding vehicle and pedestrian data using a CNN-based neural network model. The vehicle crisis situation determination module detects a crisis situation in the vehicle by using the output of the vehicle external situation collection module and the vehicle internal sensor data. As a result of the experiment, the average operation time of VESCM was 55ms, R-CNN was 74ms, and CNN was 101ms. In particular, R-CNN shows similar computation time to VESCM when the number of pedestrians is small, but it takes more computation time than VESCM as the number of pedestrians increases. On average, VESCM had 25.68% faster computation time than R-CNN and 45.54% faster than CNN, and the accuracy of all three models did not decrease below 80% and showed high accuracy.

  • Vehicle dynamic states used in various advanced driving safety systems are influenced by road geometry. Among the road geometry information, the vehicle pitch angle influenced by road slope and acceleration-deceleration is essential parameter used in pose estimation including the navigation system, advanced adaptive cruise control and others on sag road. Although the road slope data is essential parameter, the method measuring the parameter is not commercialized. The digital map including the road geometry data and high-precision DGPS system such as DGPS(Differential Global Positioning System) based RTK(Real-Time Kinematics) are used unusually. In this paper, low-cost cascade extended Kalman filter(CEKF) based road slope estimation method is proposed. It use cascade two EKFs. The EKFs use several measured vehicle states such as yaw rate, longitudinal acceleration, lateral acceleration and wheel speed of the rear tires and 3 D.O.F(Degree Of Freedom) vehicle dynamics model. The performance of proposed estimation algorithm is evaluated by simulation based on Carsim dynamics tool and T-car based experiment.

Positioning by using Speed and GeoMagnetic Sensor Data base on Vehicle Network (차량 네트워크 기반 속도 및 지자기센서 데이터를 이용한 측위 시스템)

  • Recently, various networks have been introduced in the car of the internal and external sides. These have been integrated by one HMI(Human Machine Interface) to control devices of each network and provide information service. The existing vehicle navigation system, providing GPS based vehicle positioning service, has been included to these integrated networks as a default option. The GPS has been used to the most universal device to provide position information by using satellites' signal. But It is impossible to provide the position information when the GPS can't receive the satellites' signal in the area of tunnel, urban canyon, or forest canopy. Thus, this paper propose and implement the method of measuring vehicle position by using the sensing data of internal CAN network and external Wi-Fi network of the integrated car navigation circumstances when the GPS doesn't work normally. The results obtained by implementation shows the proposed method works well by map matching.

Experimental Study of the Internal/external Pressure Variation of TTX Travelling through a Tunnel (한국형 틸팅차량의 터널 주행시 실내/외 압력변화에 대한 실험적 연구)

  • When a train enters into a tunnel, a compression wave is generated by a front nose and a expansion wave is generated by a rear tail respectively. The interaction between pressure waves and the train makes the internal and external pressure of the train change dramatically. In this paper, we had measured the internal and external pressure variations of TTX and analyzed the pressure variations as the tunnel length. Also, the rate of internal pressure variations were investigated with the current airtight condition of TTX. In short tunnels, the internal and external pressure variation were not large because the superposition of pressure waves was not happened. In long tunnels, however, the rapid and large pressure variations were shown because of the superpositions between the same sort of pressure waves, such as expansion wave and expansion wave or compression wave and compression wave. In specific length tunnels, the pressure variation and the pressure variation rates were largely lessened because the compression wave and expansion wave were superposed.
