유무선 정보통신환경에 맞춰 제한된 비트율로 압축된 CCTV 영상의 화질은 좋지 않을 수 있다. 본 논문은 제한된 비트율로 압축된 영상내 관심영역의 화질개선을 위해, 영상압축을 수행 하기 전의 카메라 센서로 획득한 영상에 전처리를 수행하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 관심영역 및 비관심영역에 차등적 필터를 적용하여 화소 별 공간적 상관도를 향상시킨다. 제안된 방법을 사용한 결과 관심영역에서의 텍스처 손실을 최소화 할 수 있었으며 전처리 과정을 적용하지 않은 영상과 비교하여 객관적 화질이 향상됨을 확인할 수 있다.

Over the last couple of years, established Cumulus Pricing Scheme(CPS) has become an important research issue for efficiently charging differentiated internet services. This paper proposes the adjusted CPS technique that expressed information of over or under-use of resources in bandwidth. And, 1 propose CPS with respect to the six main pricing and charging conditions. Also, accumulation technique may indicate an information between specified charging and eventually requires to adapt the initial contract. So called red and green Cumulus Points(CP) are used to judge the behavior of customer. At this point, the actual resource consumption is described by function v(t) at time t.

This thesis proposes a power saving MAC protocol for LTE base station which utilizes different graded DRX/DTX(Discontinuous. Reception/Transmission) that specified by 3GPP(Third Generation Partnership Project). Considering QoS in UE, proposed MAC protocol controls adaptive DRX/DTX cycle. When Packet delay of UE is less than normal time, LTE base station economize power by increasing DRX/DTX. When Packet delay of UE is more than normal time, delay of UE is decreased by guaranteed QoS. It depends on the traffic which is sent by UE. The proposed method is more improve power saving performance than another method which is unchanged DRX/DTX by conditions. Especially when set DRX/DTX up in conditions, it will meet the requirements of UE. In this thesis, I propose an power saving MAC protocol in an environment where LTE base station are communicated with UE and prove improvement in performance through simulations.

Cooperative communication, which transmit signal via arbitrary number of relays, enhances the overall communication performance by providing virtual Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) gain without imposing multiple antennal limitation in physical system. There are two representative relaying protocols, i.e., Amplify-and-Forward (AF) and Decode-and-Forward (DF), where we analyze the performance of cooperative communication by adopting DF relaying protocol applying partially differential modulation. The performance is based on symbol error rate (SER), and the effect of relay location on the performance is analyzed. We also compare the performance of the proposed scheme with the system which uses differential modulation scheme.

본 논문에서는 한정된 미디어 서버 자원을 할당하고자 할 때 고객의 실적에 따라 차등적으로 자원을 할당함으로써 고객의 서비스 품질에 대한 만족도를 제어하고자 하는 시도를 하였다. 또한 클라이언트­서버 환경하에서 발생하는 네트워크의 지연을 감소시키고자 에이전트 개념을 적용한 고객 등급별 QoS 제어 알고리즘을 제안하였다.

본 논문은 그룹화된 객체별 깊이정보를 차등 적용한 2D/3D 동영상 변환 기법에 관한 연구이다. 기존의 연구에서는 프레임의 움직임 정보와 기하학적 깊이 단서를 이용해 깊이정보를 추출하여 2D/3D 동영상 변환을 한다. 그러나 영상의 움직임 정보를 획득할 수 없는 영역의 경우 정확한 깊이정보를 얻을 수 없어 해당 영역의 3D 효과를 얻을 수 없는 문제점이 있다. 제안하는 기법에서는 객체 및 배경을 추출하고 움직임 정보와 기하학적 단서를 이용한 깊이정보를 그룹화된 객체별 차등 적용하여 움직임 정보가 없는 영역에서도 3D 효과를 얻을 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 최종적으로 원본 영상과 생성된 깊이맵을 DIBR(Depth Image Based Rendering) 과정을 통해 3D 동영상을 생성한 결과 움직임 정보가 없는 영역에서도 3D 효과를 얻을 수 있었다.

본 연구에서는 기존 대형 강우레이더 관측망에 대한 동해안 지역 관측공백 해소와 집중호우에 의한 재해예방을 목적으로 운영 중인 삼척과 울진 전파강수관측소의 강우추정을 위해 빔차폐 등을 고려한 HSR(Hybrid Surface Rainfall) 추정 기법을 소개하고 지상강우량과 비교 결과를 제시한다. 전파강수관측소의 HSR 추정 기법은 1) 자료 품질관리, 2) 고도별 자료의 병합, 3) 병합 자료 기반 분포형 비차등위상차 산정, 그리고 4) HSR 강우 추정 단계로 이루어진다. 품질관리 과정은 전파강수관측소의 관측자료 중 강우추정에 직접적으로 사용되는 반사도, 차등위상차의 품질을 관리하는 단계이다. 자료 병합 과정에서는 고도별로 품질관리된 반사도와 각 고도의 차등위상차의 레이별 차이를 병합한다. 그리고 병합된 반사도와 차등위상차의 레이별 차이를 이용하여 비차등위상차를 구한다. 마지막으로 산출된 비차등위상차를 이용하여 R-KDP 관계식을 이용하여 HSR을 산출한다 시험적용 결과 제안된 HSR 강우 추정 기법이 강한 강우가 발생한 지역의 강우강도를 잘 추정하는 것으로 확인되었다.

이 논문에서는 패킷 스케줄에 사용된 Percentile 스케줄 기법을 웹 서버에 적용하여 서버에 들어오는 다양한 요구를 클래스로 분류하여 차등적인 서비스를 제공하고자 하는 연구를 기술하였다. 논문에서는 범용 운영 체제를 실시간화 하기 위한 노력들을 살펴보았으며, Percentile에 기반한 스케줄러를 리눅스 환경에 구성한 방법을 기술하였다. 제안된 기법의 성능을 살펴보기 위하여 실험을 수행하였으며 Percentile 스케쥴 기법을 적용한 경우 지정된 클래스에 따라 자연히 다른 응답 시간을 관찰할 수 있었다.

하이퍼링크 환경에서의 정보검색은 주로 문서에 존재하는 링크정보를 이용하여 이루어진다. 본 논문은 하나의 문서에 존재하는 여러 개의 하이퍼링크마다 연결되는 문서와의 유사성을 측정하여 차등적으로 링크의 연결정보를 부여하여 기존의 알고리즘을 개선하였고, 관련이 없는 문서로의 하이퍼링크로 인해 발생되는 topic drift현상을 제거하기 위해 문서와 확장된 질의와의 유사성을 측정하여 문서의 가중치를 계산에 적용하도록 알고리즘을 개선하였다. 개선한 알고리즘의 성능을 확인하고자 TREC10의 web tree부분에 적용하여 향상된 검색 결과를 얻었다.
