  • This study compared the effects of programs according to management type by preparing a manual for oral muscle exercises that integrates oral movement and oral massage. The program was performed on 14 elderly patients in a seniors' college self-practice program group and 28 elderly patients in a social welfare center expert intervention group. In the self-practice group, an expert demonstrated oral muscle exercises and subsequently encouraged self-practice by selecting an oral muscle exercise leader. In the expert intervention group, an expert demonstrated oral exercises on a one-on-one basis and subsequently gave oral muscle massages. In the self-practice group, there was no difference in saliva secretion (p=0.213) or oral dryness (p=0.206), after the intervention, the expert intervention group showed improvements in saliva secretion (p=0.009) and oral dryness (p=0.007). There was no difference in program satisfaction between groups (p=0.143), and both groups reported high satisfaction. As seniors may have difficulty in maintaining oral health behaviors, a certain amount of expert intervention may be needed. The results suggest that both a self-practice oral exercise program and an expert intervention program can be effective elderly patients.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of oriental medicine Qi Gong program on the anxiety and self efficacy among children using community child center. With a quasi-experimental design, 88 persons with children using community child center were assigned into an experimental group (n=45) or a control group (n=43). The anxiety and self efficacy were measured at both before and after the oriental medicine Qi Gong program. Date were analyzed with SPSS/WIN using descriptive statistics, t-test, ${\chi}^2$-test and ANOVA. After controlling for self efficacy scores in the experimental group improved more than the control group(t=2.456, p=.016). Anxiety scores were not significant in the experimental group decreased than the others. Oriental medicine Qi Gong program can decreased anxiety and improved self efficacy among children using community child center.

Data analysis was performed using the IBM SPSS 23.0 program, which was divided into research subjects, research methods, and research subjects. The results were as follows. First, in the research area, the study was consistently published in exercise physiology / prescription area, and recently studies have been published in the field of sports pedagogy. Second, quantitative research was conducted more than qualitative research in research methods. In the quantitative research, the research that verified the difference between the groups was published the most. in the qualitative research, literature research was the most. Finally, in the study subjects, most studies were conducted on people, by subgroup, the study was published in many order of adult, elderly, middle school students. • This study was conducted with 50 elderly people each (5) participating in the cognitive rehabilitation treatment program at the Dementia Care Center in D City to derive the development direction and contents of a multidimensional therapeutic recreation program and a revitalization plan through analysis of the current status and actual conditions of the cognitive rehabilitation program at the Dementia Care Center. aperture) was selected, and 9 people were selected as the subject of expert group opinion collection. The collected data was SPSS ver. Using the 18.0 statistical program, descriptive statistics and the importance and priority of each component were analyzed by hierarchical structure analysis. First, unlike the needs of users, the cognitive rehabilitation support programs currently being provided are not sufficient and require considerable experience. It was found to be low, and the areas for improvement were the expansion of care and protection facilities and the development of various programs to meet the needs of users. Second, the importance and priority of each component of therapeutic recreation were categorized into 6 major categories: exercise therapy , middle category (16 items) behavior-centered approach to exercise therapy, small category (47 items) strength and brain gymnastics, and silver health gymnastics were the highest. This result shows that a multidimensional program plan that considers the priorities of each area must be made when developing a therapeutic recreation program.

  • The purpose of this research was to examine changes in the physical fitness, activities of daily living performance, and cognitive status of the frail elderly by combined exercise programs. The combined exercise program consisted of an aerobic exercise for the elderly and a four-color ladder exercise for improving of cognitive ability and physical fitness. Twenty-one frail elderly participated in this study, they were divided into 12 exercise groups and nine control groups. The exercise group conducted the combined exercise program of 60 minutes, twice a week, for10 weeks, while the control group maintained their normal lives. Strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, ADL and MMSE-K were measured. Exercise group showed significant improvement in grip strength compared to control group. In addition, ADL showed significant improvement only in the exercise group. The results of this study showed that participation in the combined exercise program of the el derl y was effective in improving the grip strength, and in preventing various physical functions and cognitive conditions decline.

  • This study analyzed the influence of Qigong exercise intervention upon a change in glucose, blood lipid, and SFT(senior fitness test) of elderly women and to closely examine the efficacy of a Qigong exercise intervention to promote the health of older women. As research subjects, 24 elderly women aged over 80 were divided into Qigong group(n=12) and control group(n=12), respectively, and the program was carried out for 60 minutes per a day, five times per week for 24 weeks. Data were analyzed using SPSS WIN 20.0, repeated measures ANOVA. The Qigong group had a significantly lower glucose level than the control group. Second, the blood lipid and neutral fat(TG) was reduced significantly in the Qigong group than the control group. The total cholesterol(TC), high-density lipoprotein(HDL-C), and low-density lipoprotein(LDL-C) did not show a significant difference. Third, as for SFT, the leg strength, leg flexibility, and total body endurance were significantly higher in the Qigong group than in the control group. Therefore, Qigong has an influence on the reduction in glucose and neutral fat(TG) and upon the improvement in SFT(leg strength, leg flexibility, and total body endurance) of elderly women, and may show effectiveness as an exercise prescription program for older women.

The subjects were 23 male middle school students, 14-year-old to 16 years old, with a BMI of more than $25kg/m^2$ (experimental group 11, control group 12), who lack basic physical fitness physical health related fitness. The subjects received a 12 weeks music rope skipping exercise program. The program was carried out before and after the 12 weeks group music rope skipping exercise program. The adiponectin and abdominal fat measurements were compared with the degree of improvement. The BMI and adiponectin levels decreased significantly after the program. In addition, the visceral fat, subcutaneous adipose fat and total abdominal fat in summer decreased significantly.

Methods: The design of this study was the nonequivalent control group non-synchronized quasi-experimental design. Data were collected from June through August in, 2012 in a rehabilitation hospital located in the C city. A total of 63 patients participated in the study [experimental group (n=32) and control group (n=31)]. The data were analyzed using $x^2-test$ and t-test. Results: The depression in the experimental group was lower than the control group (t=2.446, p=.017). The motivation of rehabilitation in the experimental group was higher than the control group (t=-4.90, p<0.001). Conclusion: Based on the results, the group rehabilitation exercise program for stroke patients is useful to decrease their depression and improve their motivation of rehabilitation. The program is considered to be an effective nursing intervention for decreasing the stroke patients' depression and improving their motivation of rehabilitation.

  • The purpose of this study were a two-fold: (1) to analyze event and phase of handspring salto forward stretched with turn; (2) to know the differences in the kinematic variables between two groups. A Kwon3D program served for the estimation of this study. The group was divided into three National representative and three well-trained calisthenics in this study. The results of this study revealed that (1) the forward somersault performance was increased when duration time in the air was long during the salto forward stretched that the duration time of Handspring is short, the pressure at takeoff is high, the stride is large, and hands are supporting on the ground quickly; (2) comparing the angular movement of anterior and posterior y axis and vertical z axis, the angular movement of right and left $\times$ axis was higher during the performance. As a result, the national representative players showed better performance in Handspring salto forward stretched with turn.
