This study intends to develope the resident leadership training in order to activate community organizations. Recently, it has been largely stressed the importance of "community" approach in social welfare practice. Traditionally, the community organization approach was emphasized in the community work methods. But many social workers express their difficulty of doing community organizations when they confront with the practice. Although there were a few cases, it was pointed out that the subgroups of long-lease housing project were not democratic, accountable, or open. This study shows the way to overcome these problems and suggests the programs that can reinforce the resident leadership development. To accomplish these tasks, I have planned programs, implemented, and then analyzed their process by qualitative evaluation methods. I have divided "the general community organization" and "the welfare community organization" to operate the leadership program and took the education and training methods using small groups. This study is significant to suggest the specific program of program planning, the activity methods of step by step community organization practice, and the formation of self- help groups.

We examine how combinations of key factors affecting healthcare user innovation vary by innovation stages from idea generation through R&D to commercialization and venturing using a fuzzy-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (fsQCA) of thirty Korean cases in the healthcare field. Our empirical analysis shows that well-functioning innovation network and easy resource acquisition facilitate ideation of radical user innovation. However, technological capability and governmental support are crucial to make a shift to R&D as well as commercialization stages. Differently, incremental user innovation depends heavily on technological capability of users. Our analysis can provide policy makers as well as corporate innovation mangers with a strategic framework for boosting user innovation along three stages.

This study aims to examine the experiences and behaviors of youth's stock investment with credit loans. Using a qualitative case study method (Creswell, 2015), we interviewed 7 young investors. As a result of the analysis, based on the research method within the case, it was possible to find out the process and reasons for how the participants had credit loan experience and invested in stocks. In addition, 19 common categories could be derived from this. Further analyses classified the process as "start of stock investment", "immersion into the investment", "stock investment through credit loans", and "consequence of stock investment with credit loans". The study concludes with several policy implications and suggestions for future studies.

The Internet has been growing explosively in recent years. The Quality as well as the quantity of web material become the interest of both industry and academic field. The purpose of this article is to investigate the possibility of the utilization of the usability test for the improvement of the quality of instructional web contents. Literatures on the usability and usability test was reviewed, a WBI development model was modified to incorporate the usability test, and a website was developed as a case. In developing the web contents, the process of the usability test indicated by the model was applied. Some practical suggestions on implementing usability test were made and the methods of effective use of the test were discussed.

The Ministry of Education selected and implemented 'science core school' since 2009 as a policy to strengthen science education to produce talented science students. This study judged that it is necessary to examine the current management practice and diagnose problems to propose improvement measures for more successful management of science core school in the future. To this end, we interviewed and observed teachers and students at a high school specialized in science based in Gyeonggi province which was selected as a science core school, as qualitative study methods such as interview and observation to survey and analyze the current management practice of the school. The management outcome was that the school contributed to fostering talented students in natural sciences and engineering because more varied activities were implemented at the school to develop scientific knowledge of students including experiment, excursion, and circle activity. Identified problems were increased amount of private education due to intense competition over school achievement, negligence of extracurricular activities, burdensome workload for teachers of specific subjects, and lack of expertise of math and science teachers. In conclusion, the following improvement measures are suggested for sustainable management of science core schools: greater liberty should be granted to science core schools; more training opportunities should be given to teachers; college admission program should be improved for science core school students; and it is necessary to introduce courses taught by external teachers, and provide systematic support such as increasing administration staff.

The purpose of this study is to analyze informal learning cases including learning work and being skillful of social workers in the workplace. In addition, it is to examine the promotion plan of informal learning to reinforce competences of social workers in the development of human resources and managemental way. This is a qualitative case study that was involved 20 social workers working in social welfare centers in Jeju. Face to face in-depth interviews were used for collected data. Nvivo10, qualitative data analysis program, was used for analyzing data. According to the findings, the most normal informal learning method in their workplace was to get feedback from the boss including adapting the system of a workplace senior, participating in the meetings, reviewing various media and etc. In addition, feedback from the boss and contacting with acquaintances were used the most as the informal learning method in the learning work and being skillful process of social workers and focused on communication with human resources. Therefore, social welfare centers need to create working environments to promote informal activities such as supporting individual learning, informal meetings, mentoring, supervision, interacting with colleagues and etc as well as supporting institutional formal learning including refresher training to reinforce the capabilities for social workers.

Dying alone is an emerging social problem in South Korea. It is reported that most cases of dying alone showed various and chronic health problems. Despite of this situation, there existed neither medical support nor welfare services when dying. It indicated severe health inequality problems. With this background, the purpose of this study was to examine health inequality issue among dying alone cases by using news paper articles during the past three years(2016-2018). Content analysis was employed for 89 dying alone cases. Characteristics of dying alone cases, types of illness and health problems, and unmet medical services were analyzed. Based on the findings, future directions were addressed.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of the group piano playing program, which was a part of psycho-emotional support program, on international marriage immigrant women's self-efficacy. For this case study, five international marriage immigrant women from "N Multi-culture Supporting Agency" were agreed to participate in the study. The group piano playing program was implemented for ten sessions. Each session took place once a week for ten weeks. In order to examine the effects of self-efficacy on the participants, both quantitative and qualitative methods were used as a mixed methods research design. As a result, the participants' self-efficacy average score was statistically significant (p< .05). Also, qualitative analysis of participants' verbal and behavioral response showed positive changes in their level of self-efficacy. Therefore, the results of this study suggest that the group piano playing can facilitate as an effective intervention to promote the self-efficacy on international marriage immigrant women.

본 연구는 대학원생의 연구 수행을 위한 학술적 역량 진단 및 평가를 기반으로 하여 성취 과정을 지원하는 대학원생의 표준 학술능력 진단평가 도입을 제안하고자함을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위하여 호주 시드니 대학교의 대학생 학업능력 진단평가 모델인 MASUS(Measuring the Academic Skills of University Students A Diagnostic Assessment)를 연구대상으로 선정하고 질적연구 방법 중 도구적(instrumental) 사례연구를 선택하였다. 이에 따라, 자료 수집 단계에서 시드니대학교 학습지원센터 관계자와의 반구조화된 면대면 인터뷰 및 문헌자료를 정보원으로 하여 자료를 분석함으로써 MASUS의 특징과 시사점을 도출하였다. 이를 기반으로 학문적 소양으로서의 글쓰기 능력의 의미와 중요성을 고찰하고, 이를 통해 대학원생 학술 역량 진단평가 도입의 당위성을 부여하였다. 본 연구를 통해 향후 모든 대학원에서 범용적으로 적용할 수 있는 객관적이고 신뢰도 높은 표준 진단평가 모델을 개발하여 긍정적인 진단문화를 형성할 수 있기를 바라는 바이다.

정치적으로 볼 때, 한국은 현재 북한과 남한이라는 분단 현실에 놓여있고, 북한은 제 2세계로 분류되어져 왔지만, 경제적으로나 지정학적 위치를 고려해 볼 때 북한은 현재 제 3세계로 간주되어가고 있다. 비록 이런 논의는 논쟁의 여지가 있기는 하지만 대한민국은 제 1세계와 제 3세계의 중간 어느 정도의 위치에 놓여있다고 본다. 소위, 서방과 태평양의 언저리에 놓여있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 영상연구방법 중 질적방법론의 사례분석과 문헌연구(한국민족영화운동(Korean National Cinema Movement (1980~1990)의 문헌연구)를 통해 제 3세계 영화, 비(非)서방(Non-Western) 영화들, Third Cinema 와 같은 용어들을 현대 동아시아(East Asia) 영화들을 특별히 한국영화에 적용하여 그 용어와 의미들을 논의하고자 한다. 이 논문에서 도출된 결과는, 글로벌 시대에 모든 영화들이 국적(이념)에 따라 구분 되어야 한다고 생각하지 않으며, 이러한 견지에서 동아시아(한국)의 영화는 반드시 재(再)평가 되어야하고, 제 3세계, 비(非)서방(Non-Western), 제 3세계 영화의 영역에 조심스럽게 재(再)위치해야 할 것을 재(再)조명하고 있다.
