A study on the experience of care managers - Approached Qualitative case study method - (사례관리자들의 실천경험 연구 - 질적사례연구 방법 접근 -)

  • This study was carried out to analyze the job of care managers in their social welfare practicing fields about the frequency of care management duties they perform, types of duties considered to be most important and the reason, and types of jobs counted to be the most difficult and the reason by qualitative case study research methods. The job area of care management was elicited using DACUM method, and those 9 job areas derived from it were analysed according to frequency of performance, importance and difficulty. The subjects were 10 social workers serving more than 3 years with major duty of care management and chosen by reputational-case selection, and those collected data analysis was operated according to embedded analysis types. We discussed the implication of this research. : The experience of participants are the process of maintaining the tension, and search the equilibrium point between client centered service and institutional pressure.   • 초등학교 5학년 학생들을 대상으로 독서부진요인을 알아보기 위한 측정도구를 개발하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법으로는 질적 양적 연구를 모두 실행하는 혼합연구방법을 선택하였으며, 연구 대상자는 5학년 학생 1,320명으로, 1단계 질적 연구에서는 포커스그룹 인터뷰와 문헌연구를 수행하였다. 2단계 양적 연구에서는 질적 연구에서 도출된 내용을 근거로 예비문항을 개발하여 구조화된 질문지를 제작하였다. 3단계 양적 연구에서는 측정도구의 신뢰성과 타당성을 확보하기 위하여 소수의 학생을 대상으로 2회의 예비조사를 실시하였다. 결과로는 4개 평가영역, 12개 평가항목, 44개 평가내용으로 구성하였다.

A Review and Application of Library User Comments Data Analysis Tool: Focused on the LibQUAL+ Survey Comments (도서관 이용자 코멘트 데이터 분석도구 리뷰 및 적용: LibQUAL+ 설문 데이터를 중심으로)

  • Using user satisfaction surveys and LibQUAL+ instruments, libraries are increasingly gathering qualitative data such as verbatim user comments as well as quantitative data. Such qualitative data can be utilized as clues in establishing library service strategies: to better understand user issues, to identify areas for service improvement, and to prioritize user needs. For this, it is necessary to analyze user comments data and to apply results to the delivery of service and the library policies. This study is an attempt to investigate ways in which user comments data can be made useful in libraries. It identifies different methods of analyzing user comments data from LibQUAL+ surveys and compares qualitative data analysis software programs and taxonomies. It also presents the results of applying these tools to a subset of actual user comments data gathered from a recent LibQUAL+ survey at a major university library in Korea.
