Application of a Neuro-Fuzzy System Trained by Evolution Strategy to Nonlinear System Identification (진화전략으로 학습되는 뉴로퍼지 시스템의 비선형 시스템 동정에의 응용)

  • This paper proposes a new neuro-fuzzy system that is fast trained by evolution strategy and describes application results of the proposed system to nonlinear system identification to show its usefulness. As training methods of neuro-fuzzy systems, modified error back-propagation algorithms and genetic algorithms have been used so far. However, the former has some drawbacks such as long training time, falling to local optimum, and experimental selecting of learning rates and the latter has difficulty in precise searching solutions because genetic algorithms represents solutions as genotype individuals. The evolution strategy we used can do precise search because its individuals are represented as phenotype real values, it seldom falls into a local optimum, and its training speed is faster than error back-propagation algorithms. We apply our neuro-fuzzy systems to nonlinear system identification. It was found from experiments that training speed is fast and the training results were considerably good.

Sustaining Cluster Evolution through Building the Triple-Helix Spaces: The Case of the Research Triangle Park, USA (트리플 힐릭스 공간 구축을 통한 클러스터의 경로파괴적 진화: 미국 리서치트라이앵글파크 사례)

  • Established as the first science park in the world in the late 1950's, the Research Triangle Park(RTP) has not jut grown significantly but also has been successful in the transition from the exogenous development model to the endogenous development model. In this context, this paper attempts to explore the evolutionary path of the RTP by drawing upon the concept of triple-helix spaces of regional innovation. Firstly, the three research universities in the triangle area, as a knowledge space, played a fundamental role for forming the RTP. However, it is difficult to say that the regional universities, as opposed to the Silicon Valley and the Boston area, have had a significant impact on inducing the dynamics of the cluster evolution and the triple helix spaces. Secondly, it can be argued that the North Carolina's Board of Science and Technology, which was formed in 1961 but traced back to the 1950's in its origin, has been a centerpiece of a consensus space that makes a contribution to creating, sustaining and transforming the RTP as a triple-helix-based innovation cluster. Thirdly, there have been a plenty of agents to be an innovation space in the RTP. Particularly, the North Carolina Biotechnology Center(NCBC) and the Microelectronic Center of North Carolina(MCNC) have been the boundary permeable agents to make triple-helix agents interact. Today, the RTP has the triple-helix spaces with the structure that a consensus spaces is centered on out of the three, but all of those are inter-connected and influenced by each other. It can be claimed that the RTP today shows the dynamic structure of cluster evolution in a way in which the existing industry sectors have adapted to the changes in external environment and the new industry sectors have emerged at the same time.

In this paper, we classify the basic services in view of the customer needs the complementary services in terms of their functions and also the functional attributes for services, terminals and networks.

  • The paper presents the technology trajectory of competitive wireless technologies in wireless industry. We attempt to trace the trajectory of wireless technologies with historical data, and then analyze its pattern. As a preliminary result, we find that there exists network effect and substitution effect in the trajectory. Our result can provide insight to wireless service providers where best to focus its efforts for maximizing overall gain in their networks as well as when to establish the transition strategy towards the next generation wireless network technologies.

  • 압전 외팔보의 구조가 갈수록 복잡해짐에 따라 더 정확하고 효과적인 압전체의 해석이 요구되어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 3차원 직육면체요소를 이용한 유한요소법을 통해 압전 변환기를 해석하고, 이것을 실험적으로 검증함으로써, 3차원 유한요소법을 이용한 해석 프로그램의 타당성을 확인하였다. 또한 3차원 유한요소법을 이용해서 압전 외팔보를 해석하고, 이것을 실험 결과를 통해서 검증하였다. 그리고 압전 외팔보를 팬으로 적용하기 위해서 끝단에서의 최대 변위와 EMCF(Electo-Mechanical Coupling Factor)를 목적함수로 한 진화 전략 알고리즘을 적용하였다. 이를 통해서 팬용 압전 외팔보의 최적 설계를 수행하였다.

Acceptability of a Freeway Travel Reservation Strategy (고속도로 통행 예약제의 수용성 분석)

  • The objective of this study is to propose a new strategy, called "freeway travel reservation strategy", to mitigate freeway traffic congestion by using advanced traffic technologies and traffic demand management policies, and to analyze its acceptability. Motorist surveys were carried out to accomplish the acceptability analysis. As a result, 73% of respondents agreed with the proposed strategy, and an increase in the inconvenience for using freeway during the major Korean Holidays, in the age, in the number of family members, and in household income resulted in higher acceptability. Additionally, married or female respondents tended to have higher acceptability. Such results can be practical for developing policies to successfully operate the proposed strategy in the future.

  • This paper focuses on dispatching strategy for AGVs(Automated Guided Vehicle). The goal of AGV dispatching problem is allocating jobs to AGVs to minimizing QC delay and AGV total travel distance. Due to the highly dynamic nature of container terminal environment, the effect of dispatching is hard to predict thus it leads to frequent modification of dispatching results. Given this situation, single rule-based approach is widely used due to its simplicity and small computational cost. However, single rule-based approach has a limitation that cannot guarantee a satisfactory performance for the various performance measures. In this paper, dispatching strategy based on multicriteria heuristics is proposed. Proposed strategy consists of multiple decision criteria. A muti-objective evolutionary algorithm is applied to optimize weights of those criteria. The result of simulation experiment shows that the proposed approach outperforms single rule-based dispatching approaches.

  • 2011년부터 모바일 악성코드가 급격하게 증가하는 상황 속에서 2012년 말부터는 국내(한국)의 특성에 맞춘 모바일 악성코드들이 끊임없이 발생되고 있고 실질적 피해 또한 계속 발생되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 이러한 모바일 악성코드들의 진화 과정, 모바일 악성코드의 특징, 모바일 악성코드의 분류에 대해서 다루며 모바일 악성코드가 이용하는 기술적 전략과 행위 그리고 사회공학적 기법들을 다룬다. 또한 모바일 악성코드가 제작되어 지고 있는 목적이 무엇인지 실제 피해 사례 분석을 통해 알아보고 어떻게 모바일 악성코드를 진단할 것인지를 살펴본다.

  • 전자정부 표준프레임워크는 공공부문 정보화 사업을 위해서 개발 보급되었으나, 최근 민간부문으로 확대 적용되면서 정부차원의 강제성 없이 자발적으로 오픈 플랫폼 생태계로 진화하기 시작하였다. 또한 전자정부 표준프레임워크는 세계 전자정부 1위의 대한민국에서의 성공적인 안착에 힘입어 개발 도상국을 중심으로 해외로도 확산 조짐을 보이고 있다. 본고에서는 최근 내수 시장의 한계 및 국내 SW 산업 정책이 중소기업 중심으로 이루어지면서 대형 IT서비스 기업들의 해외진출 전략이 공격적으로 전환되고 있는 시점에서 전자정부 표준프레임워크를 중심으로 국내 기업의 장점을 살리면서 단점을 극복할 수 있는 성공 전략에 대해 알아본다.
