NOVEL CNC GRINDING PROCESS CONTROL FOR NANOMETRIC SURFACE ROUGHNESS FOR ASPHERIC SPACE OPTICAL SURFACES (우주망원경용 비구면 반사경 표면조도 향상을 위한 진화형 수치제어 연삭공정 모델)

  • Optics fabrication process for precision space optical parts includes bound abrasive grinding, loose abrasive lapping and polishing. The traditional bound abrasive grinding with bronze bond cupped diamond wheel leaves the machine marks of about $20{mu}m$ rms in height and the subsurface damage of about 1 ${mu}m$ rms in height to be removed by subsequent loose abrasive lapping. We explored an efficient quantitative control of precision CNC grinding. The machining parameters such as grain size, work-piece rotation speed and feed rate were altered while grinding the work-piece surfaces of 20-100 mm in diameter. The input grinding variables and the resulting surface quality data were used to build grinding prediction models using empirical and multi-variable regression analysis. The effectiveness of such grinding prediction models was then examined by running a series of precision CNC grinding operation with a set of controlled input variables and predicted output surface quality indicators. The experiment achieved the predictability down to ${pm}20$ nm in height and the surface roughness down to 36 nm in height. This study contributed to improvement of the process efficiency reaching directly the polishing and figuring process without the need for the loose abrasive lapping stage.

이명박 정부 이후의 신자유주의, 금융화, 불평등: 정책 변화를 중심으로

  • 이 연구에서는 서구와 한국에서의 신자유주의화에 대한 기존의 연구성과들에 기반하여 한국적 신자유주의의 특징을 규명하고, 이명박 정부 이후의 구체적인 정책 변화를 검토하여 국가의 정책이 사회적 불평등에 어떠한 영향을 미쳐 왔는지를 확인하고자 한다. 전체적으로 이 연구가 던지는 질문은 다음과 같다: "국민경제는 계속 성장하고 있다는데, 나는 왜 먹고살기가 더욱 어려워지는가?"라는 질문에 대해 어떻게 대답할 것인가? 이 연구는 이론적인 차원에서 이에 대한 대답은 '신자유주의적 금융화의 진전'이라는 현상과 관련하여 설명되어야 한다는 관점에서 출발한다. 이러한 방식의 설명을 위해 이 글에서 파악하고자 하는 내용은 다음과 같다: 한국에서 신자유주의화 또는 금융화가 전개되는 독특한 양식은 무엇인가? '보수정부' 9년간의 사회경제정책은 이전 시기에 비해 어떤 특징을 나타내는가? 그리고, 이 시기에 한국사회의 사회적 불평등의 정도는 실제로 어떻게 변화하였는가? 글은 신자유주의에 대한 새로운 이론이나 금융화 및 불평등에 대한 새로운 경험적 자료를 제시하기 보다는, 금융화와 불평등에 대한 기존의 논의들을 살펴보고 한국의 신자유주의 및 금융화가 진화해 온 방식과 그 지형도를 그리는 것을 목표로 한다. 그리고 이러한 작업을 통해 향후 기대되는 연구의 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 연구는 첫째로 지난 9년간 전개된 금융정책은 금융이 산업을 지배한다기보다는 오히려 정 반대의 과정으로 진행되도록 했다는 점을 제시할 것이다. 또한, '일하는 복지'라는 사회복지정책 의제와 금융장치의 결합을 통해 개개인의 금융활동에 대한 의존을 심화시켰다는 점을 제시할 것이다. 이러한 정책적 변화들은 곧 물질적인 평등뿐만 아니라, '사회적 권리'로서의 평등을 악화시켰다고 관찰된다.

Influences of the User's Experienced Space Perception on the Flow at Digital Interactive Contents (디지털 상호작용 콘텐츠에서 체험적 공간감이 몰입에 미치는 영향)

  • This study deals with development of an evaluating tool for flow experience and presence to evaluate interactive digital contents. The tool is able to measure the grade of flow and presence by surveying with their factors which are known to affect flow experience and presence. One of reasons for reducing flow experience and presence in 3D digital contents is that the experience in the virtual world is different from user's prerequisite learning in the real life. The recent interactive contents using physical movement of users as an input is possible to provide unsafe situation to users due to the different experience. The suggested flow measurement tool is able to evaluate presence and flow experience of an interactive 3D contents as well as flow and presence factors are possible to use as a general guideline for all stages of producing interactive 3D digital contents.

  • In this paper research covers a study on the need for smart TV according to smart TV 'smart' of issues, consider the changing elements of paradigm, according to the evolution of TV, from the point of view of the user experience analyze the Applications of Smart TV UX. Through analysis of user behavior from the current viewpoint of the TV and Future TV, reflected in the design of Smart TV UX. Ultimately for efficiently operating the contents, screen proposed a prototype for personalized intelligent user based on UX design. Ultimately, to satisfy the playfulness for the course of using the TV as the primary goal and content through the TV content easily to the desired goal to be reached quickly and easily at the point of how to approach the user's destination, shorten the access path is proposed in this study.

The Evolution of Tourism Geographies in Anglo-American Tradition: The Issue of Research Approach and Research Themes (영미 관광지리학의 변천에 대한 통시적 고찰 - 연구접근법과 연구주제를 중심으로 -)

  • This research reviews how tourism geography studies in Anglo-American tradition have evolved since 1930s. The purposes of the research are two fold. One is to analyze the change of tourism geographies research trends in terms of research approach and major research themes. The other is to bring out the lessons from the research results for the development of Korean tourism geographies research. For these purposes, the selected papers and texts have been analyzed according to four research approaches: (1) empiricist approach, (2) positivist approach, (3) humanist approach, and (4) critical social theory approach. The major research themes are the explanation of destination through descriptive research in empiricist approach, spatial analysis and evolutionary research in positivist approach, tourist behaviour and place identity in humanist approach, and tourism and consumption in critical social theory approach. It is expected that the development of Anglo-American tourism geographies study will continue in the future because of the growth of tourism industry, the close relation of tourism and geography in nature, and the active contribution of tourism geographers.

A Study on the Digital Era's Influential Factors on Policy Organizations (디지털시대의 정책조직에 미치는 영향요인에 관한 연구)

  • Alvin Toffler는 인류 발전 과정을 세 가지 변화의 물결, 즉 유목 채집 사회에서 농경 사회로의 변화, 산업혁명에 의한 농경 사회에서 산업 사회로의 변화, 그리고 1950년대부터의 후기 산업화 사회로의 변혁으로, 산업 사회에서 정보 사회로의 변혁이 일어나기 시작했으며 탈대량화, 다양화, 지식기반 생산과 변화의 가속이 시작된 시기였다. Herman Maynard와 Susan Mehrtens는 ICT (Information Communication Technology: 휴대폰 등), 인터넷의 발달로 제4의 물결이 시작되고 있다고 주장한다. 이전의 사회 변혁들은 물질 생산이 따르는 가시적인 변혁들이었으나, 디지털 혁명은 시민사회의 참여 확대를 통한 민주주의의 진화된 형태를 가능하게 하고 있다. 지금 우리가 경험하고 있는 제4의 물결의 시작은, 시민사회의 정책 참여와 견제가 효과적이고 효율적으로 이루어지기 시작하는 초고도 정보화 사회의 시작을 의미하며, 정책 결정 자들은 정책 결정 과정에서 그들이 보유하던 절대 영향력의 일부분을 시민사회에 이양됨을 막을 수 없을 것이다. 이러한 대변혁의 시대에 관료주의, Digital Divide, 그리고 시민 참여와의 상관관계를 이해하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 시민 참여에 대한 관료주의의 방침과 태도, 제4의 물결의 정책 민주화와 Digital Divide로의 영향 분석을 통하여 정책 결정 자들과 그들의 환경으로의 파급 효과를 논증한다. 본 연구는 이러한 분석과 논증을 통하여, 정책조직들과 시민사회와의 신세기의 바람직한 동반자적 입지 구축에 기여 할 것이다.

On the Effect of Extended Human Group Scale in Perception of Group Ratio and Size at Majority-biased Social Learning (인구 집단의 스케일의 확장이 집단 비율 및 집단 크기 지각에 미치는 영향: 다수편향적 사회적 정보 활용을 중심으로)

  • New media moved the place of social exchange to the Internet, allowing large groups to communicate in one place beyond the limits of time and space. Recent studies have also reported cases in which human social abilities do not keep up with the expansion of group scale through social media. In this context, current study investigated how human perception of social information is affected by the expansion of the group scale in the context of majority bias. Using Internet-based task, the psychological processes that group ratio and group size are perceived and affect majority-biased social information use were investigated, and whether group scale moderates those processes was examined. The group ratio has a positive effect on the majority bias, and the relationship was partially mediated by ratio perception. Group scale did not moderate the relationship between group ratio and ratio perception. On the other hand, the correlation between group size and majority-biased social information use was not significant. Group scale moderates group size perception. The group size and size perception showed positive correlation under the smaller group scale condition. However under the extended group scale condition, the perceived group size became significantly lower and lost its correlation with group size. These results provide evidence that the psychological mechanism related to group size perception was not properly responding to the expansion of the group scale. Furthermore, the possibility of a specific psychological mechanism for processing group size information and the form of information input specifically accepted by majority bias were discussed from perspective of evolutionary psychology.

The Effects of Marketing Mix Strategies on Perceived Value and Loyalty in Korean Restaurants (한식 레스토랑의 마케팅 믹스 전략이 지각된 가치와 충성도에 미치는 영향)

  • To adapt to the constant change in the foodservice industry, dietary life is not only evolving variously and complicatedly, but eating-out styles are also changing fast. In this reality, this study is intended to examine the effects of marketing mix strategies on perceived value and loyalty in Korean restaurants. To achieve this, a survey was carried out to total 300 customers of Korean restaurants in Seoul from June 11 to June 30, 2013. The results were as follows. First, service experience, price and store image in Korean restaurants had a positive effect on the perceived value. Second, price, advertisement and store image in Korean restaurants had a positive effect on the loyalty. Third, the perceived value had a significant positive effect on the loyalty. As stated above, service experience, price and store image, and price, advertisement and store image in Korean restaurants had an effect on the perceived value and the loyalty, respectively. Also, the perceived value had an effect on the loyalty. Consequently, these factors are very useful as marketing mix strategies in Korean restaurants.

Study on the Contexts and Meanings of Adolescents' Addictive Game Play (청소년의 중독적 게임하기 맥락과 의미에 관한 연구)

  • Employing in-depth interview, this study sought to explore the meaning of game play among those adolescent game addicts. Recent evolution of game text and rapid diffusion of smart media contributed to their addictive game use. Stronger relationship-building with their peer group through game play was also more important for them. In addition, alienation from family, school and society apparently led those adolescents to evaluate the virtual experience to be more valuable and meaningful. Lack of proper parental mediation and intervention from the school authority caused them to spend more time in the virtual world. Without understanding the complex social context surrounding the adolescents, a systematic approach to attenuate the problem of game addiction is hardly attainable.

Clinical Decision Support System for Identification of Anaerobe (혐기성 동정을 위한 임상의사결정 지원시스템 개발)

  • In the anaerobe identification, when we develop the clinical decision support system for department of laboratory medicine, we must consider expression of an incomplete knowledge structure and addition of an evolving knowledge based on an expert's informal and heuristic knowledge is very complicated work flow. In the present study, we developed the system for anaerobe identification to advise on identification of unknown bacillus using knowledge base and inference engine. In the future, we are planning to develop the clinical decision support system for the whole bacteria not only an anaerobe but also aerobe to offer an expert's static and dynamic knowledge.
