Educational Implications of Media Education in the Digital Era in France (디지털 시대 프랑스의 미디어 교육 분석을 통한 시사점 고찰)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the implications for the domestic media education policy which is still in a state of pace by document research of the case in France which has a long history of media education. France has consistently maintained the tradition of the philosophical value of media education, such as 'the cultivation of consciousness and qualities as a democratic citizen' through legal, policy and educational improvement. At the same time, in the digital era, conceptual expansion was carried out that embraced the concept of 'information' rather than resting on classical media education. This was complemented by education legislation, enforcing information education programs in school, and the manage of CLEMI, the media and information education training organization. It will be necessary to construct software system for media education of Korea through the manage of governmental organization and the cooperation system with related institutes under the constant philosophic direction.

  • With advanced technologies of information and communication technologies, ubiquitous computing becomes popular. U-learning(Ubiquitous Learning) is a new paradigm that was started with ubiquitous computing environment. U-learning has characteristics such as anytime, anywhere, any network and any device, The U-learning support system(ULSS) is the system for supporting the u-Learning. Also, with recent fashion of smart phones, their use in education becomes interested. In this paper, The ULSS is defined in smart phone environments.

Neuroscientific Challenges to deontological theory: Implications to Moral Education (의무론에 대한 신경과학의 도전: 도덕교육에의 시사)

  • This article aims to search for moral educational implication of J. D. Greene's recent neuro-scientific approaches to deontological ethics. Recently new technique in neuroscience such as fMRI is applied to moral and social psychological concepts or terms, and 'affective primacy' and 'automaticity' principles are highlighted as basic concepts of the new paradigm. When these principles are introduced to ethical theories, it makes rooms of new and different interpretations of them. J. D. Greene et al. claim that deontological moral judgments or theories are just a kind of post hoc rationalization for intuitions or emotions by ways of neuroscientific findings and evolutionary interpretation. For example, Kant's categorical imperative in which a maxim should be universalizable to be as a principle, might be a product of moral intuition. Firstly this article tries to search for intellectual backgrounds of the social intuitionalism where Greens' thought originates. Secondly, this article tries to collect and summarize his arguments about moral dilemma responses, personal-impersonal dilemma catergorizing hypothesis, fMRI data interpretations by ways of evolutionary theory, cultural and social psychological theories, application to deontological and consequential theories, and his suggestion that deontological ethics shoud be rejected as a normative ethical thought and consequentialism be a promising theory etc. Thirdly, this tries to analyse and critically exam those aspects and argumentation, especially from viewpoints of the ethicists whose various strategies seek to defeat Greene's claims. Fourthly, this article criticizes that his arguments make a few critical mistakes in methodology and data interpretation. Last, this article seeks to find its implications for moral education in korea, in which in spite of incomplete argumentation of his neuroscientific approach to morality, neuroethics needs to be introduced as a new approach and educational content, and critical materials as well.

  • 과학기술의 패러다임은 생명체가 진화하듯 변신한다. 지난 시간을 돌이켜보아 오늘의 모습과 비교해 보면 변화의 폭을 실감할 수 있다. Samuel C. Prescott 박사(Singh, 1997)에 의해 표현된 식품공학(food engineering)이란 용어가 소개된 시기는 1939년경이었다. 초기 식품공학은 농공학에서 농산물의 수확후 작업과 관련하여 식품제조와 식품가공장치에 관한 내용이 주로 다루어졌으며, 이 시기의 특징을 보여주는 대표적인 저서의 예가 Milton E. Parker가 1952년에 저술한 "Elements of Food Engineering"이다. 1950년대와 1960년대에는 화공학의 단위 조작이 도입되어 현재까지 식품공학의 주요 기법으로사용되고 있는바, 건조, 살균, 냉동, 압출 둥의 공정에서 현저한 성과를 보였다(Karel, 1997).(중략)

  • 현재 진행되고 있는 과학기술의 융합현상은 여러 학문분과와 기술간 융합이 동시다발적으로 집적화되어 나타난다는 점에서 하나의 패러다임적 전환을 예고하고 있다. 특히 IT, BT, 나노 분야간 융합이 활발하게 일어나고 있으며, IT기술은 기술간 융합을 매개하는 인프라로서의 역할이 두드러지게 나타나고 있다. 도래하는 융합기술경제패러다임에서 국가경쟁력을 지속하기 위해서는 교육, 연구조직 및 관리, 금융, 정책 등의 차원에서 개방형의 융합친화적인 사회제도적 틀의 구축이 반드시 병행되어야 한다.

초등학교 수학과 교육과정에 근거한 도형영역 교수단위 추출 연구

  • 사회가 변화함에 따라 수학교육과정도 변화를 거듭하고 있으며, 이러한 변화에 잘 대처하기 위해서 교사는 수학교육의 방향에 대한 깊이 있는 성찰과 함께 수학, 교육학, 심리학 등 수학교육과 관련된 학문에 대한 이해가 필요하다. 이러한 교사에 대한 시대적인 요구에 능동적으로 대처하는 방안으로 Wittmann(1984)은 수학교과의 특성상 변하지 않는 요소들을 교수단위(Teaching Units)라 하고, 수학교육을 통합시키는 개념으로 교수단위이론으로 제시하였다. 교수단위는 수학에서 가르쳐야 할 내용들을 목적, 자료, 활동, 배경 등의 4요소에 따라 작은 단위로 조직화한 것으로, 이를 통해 수학연구자나 교사는 가르쳐야 할 내용에 대한 구조적인 이해와 체계적인 조직화를 도모할 수 있게 되어 나아가 사회의 변화에 대응할 수 있게 된다. 본 연구에서는 2007년 개정 수학과 교육과정 도형영역의 교수단위를 학년별로 추출하고, 추출된 교수단위의 특징과 제목을 분석하였다. 이를 통해 교수단위가 수학교육과정연구에 어떻게 활용될 수 있는지 그 방안을 모색해 보았다. 도형영역의 교수단위(TU)는 특징과 제목에 따라 '개념알기형', '개념적용형', '관계알기형'의 세 유형으로 분류할 수 있다. 현재의 도형영역 교육과정은 대체로 개념알기형, 개념적용형, 관계알기형의 순으로 구성되어 있으며, 개념적용형이 개념알기형보다 조금 더 많다. 이는 도형영역 교육과정이 학습한 개념을 다양한 방법을 통해 여러 활동에 적용시켜 봄으로써 도형의 개념을 좀 더 명확하게 알게 되는 초등학생의 발달단계를 고려하여 구성되었음을 알 수 있다. 이러한 교수단위(TU)는 수업자가 도형학습주제에 맞게 수업을 재구성하거나 학생들의 수준에 맞는 수준별 맞춤자료를 제작할 때 유용하게 활용될 수 있으며, 더 나아가 수학연구자들이 새로운 교육과정을 수립하고자 할 때 기초자료로 활용될 수도 있을 것이다. 교수단위는 고정불변의 것이 아니고 계속 보완되고 진화될 수 있는 모델이다. 따라서 앞으로도 많은 수학연구자나 현장교사의 참여로 교수단위가 보다 더 체계적이고 조직적으로 연구되어야 한다. 또한 추출된 교수단위를 교사나 학생들이 보다 편리하게 활용할 수 있도록 컴퓨터용 소프트웨어로 개발하려는 후속 연구가 필요하다.

Evolutionary & Revival of ChunCheon Cultural Cluster (춘천 문화산업 클러스터의 진화와 회생)

  • The cultural cluster in Chuncheon was initiated in the late 1990s with the combination of diverse components, which were companies, a local government entity, educational institutions, and human resources. In order to hold ability of standing on its own way in a hard time when the local cultural industries could not had developed by themselves, it urgently required the encouragement policy in the name of industry development. GIMC (Gangwon Information & Multimedia Corporation) was established in this situation, and policy strategies for promoting the cultural cluster was decided on the basis of GIMC's strategies. This article analyzes the evolution process of the local cluster and suggests characteristics of its every stage--initiation, development, and decline--on the basis of cluster competition concept because of the problem to deal with the evolution process of cluster from the existing viewpoint. This article finds out that Chuncheon cluster embarked on cultural cluster strategies without concerning basic elements which had to be prepared from the initial stage. This problem worked as the serious obstacle hampering development of Chunchen cluster. This problem was the matter of policies in providing a direction of industry development as well as leading a local cultural cluster and led to a result of weakening the connection among cluster components. As a result, this article shows that the current status of Chuncheon cultural cluster is being entered the decline stage, and, therefore, suggests that the advanced policy to promote cluster for a next round is urgently needed. Stable closing the first round of cultural cluster policies and thorough preparation for the second round is the only practical solution to minimize side effects of cluster decline. It is the prerequisite to restore trust and, at the same time, reinforce relationship between members who consist of Chuncheon cultural cluster.

A Review on the Stratigraphy, Depositional Period, and Basin Evolution of the Bansong Group (반송층군의 층서, 퇴적시기, 분지 진화에 관한 고찰)

  • The Mesozoic Bansong Group, distributed along the NE-SW thrust fault zone of the Okcheon Fold Belt in the Danyang-Yeongwol-Jeongseon areas, contains important information on the two Mosozoic orogenic cycles in the Koran Peninsula, the Permian-Triassic Songrim Orogeny and the Jurassic Daebo Orogeny. This study aims to review previous studies on the stratigraphy, depositional period, and basin evolution of the Bansong Group and to suggest future research directions. The perspective on the implication of the Bansong Group in the context of the tectonic evolution of the Korean Peninsula is largely divided into two points of view. The traditional view assumes that it was deposited as a product of the post-collisional Songrim Orogeny and then subsequently deformed by the Daebo Orogeny. This interpretation is based on the stratigraphic, paleontologic, and structural geologic research carried out in the Danyang Coalfield area. On the other hand, recent research regards the Bansong Group as a product of syn-orogenic sedimentation during the Daebo Orogeny. This alternative view is based on the zircon U-Pb ages of pyroclastic rocks distributed in the Yeongwol area and their structural position. However, both models cannot comprehensively explain the paleontological and geochronological data derived from Bansong Group sediments. This suggests the need for a new basin evolution model integrated from multidisciplinary data obtained through sedimentology, structural geology, geochronology, petrology, and geochemistry studies.

  • The evolution of new digital technologies is progressing rapidly. In particular, many changes in software and artificial intelligence are progressing rapidly in the field of education. The Ministry of Education is planning an educational program by linking software and artificial intelligence regular curriculum. Before applying it to regular subjects, various software and artificial intelligence related experience camps are being promoted. This study aims to construct an educational model for software and artificial intelligence education programs for high school students based on new digital technology. By expanding and distributing software and artificial intelligence education, we aim to enhance the basic capabilities of software and artificial intelligence for high school students. I would like to define the concept of software and artificial intelligence in high school and propose a model that links software and artificial intelligence learning factors to the regular curriculum.

Extracting Teaching Units Based on the Elementary School Mathematics Curriculum (초등학교 수학과 교육과정에 근거한 교수단위 추출 연구)

  • This research analyzes the elementary school mathematics curriculum in Korea in accordance with the teaching units devised by the German mathematics pedagogue, Wittmann(1984). Teaching units, a systematic teaching content organized according to the 4 elements of objectives, data, functions, and backgrounds, helps educators and professors plot for the systematic organization and structural understanding of the materials necessary in teaching. This research presents the extracting process of teaching units step by step based on the 2007 revised mathematics curriculum and also demonstrates the new alternative method to analyze and review the entire education courses through it. Teaching units is not immutable, but rather pursuing and developing a model that consistently through the constant complementary efforts by the research experts. On that account, many researchers and field professors continuously devote their efforts to develop and innovate it so that it can be practically used as an essential tool to establish a new mathematics curriculum.
