  • 본 연구에서는 굽힘파(bending wave)의 전달만 고려하였는데 실제로는 보 및 비틀림 모드도 존재하나 고주파수 대역에서는 굽힘모드가 지배적이며 소음의 발생도 굽힘모드에 의해 주로 발생하므로 보 및 비틀림모드의 생략이 큰 오차를 가져오지는 않는다. 테스트 모델에 대해 실험을 수행하여 결과를 비교하였다. 또한 구조물의 고주파수 진동소음 해석방법으로 널리 쓰이는 통계적 에너지 해석법(SEA)을 이용한 결과와 비교하였다.

  • 플라이 휠 에너지 저장장치(Flywheel Energy Storage System: FESS)는 전기 에너지를 회전 운동 에너지로 저장하였다가 필요시 회전 운동에너지를 전기 에너지로 변환하여 재사용 가능한 에너지 저장장치 이다. 최근 전력 변환 기술의 발전으로 인하여 플라이휠 에너지 저장 장치의 에너지 입출력 속도가 빨라지고 대용량의 에너지를 저장할 수 있게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 플라이휠 에너지 저장 장치의 전력 입출력 특성을 이용하여 전력 시스템에서 발생하는 저주파 진동(Low frequency oscillation)을 억제하는 방안을 제시 하여 안정도를 향상 시키고자 하였다. 전력 시스템은 발전조건, 전송조건, 부하조건에 따라 동작 조건이 지속적으로 변하고 있다. 이러한 동작 환경 변화는 전력 시스템에 대한 수학적인 표현과 실제 전력계통간의 차이가 발생하기 때문에 정확한 제어 목적을 달성하기가 힘들다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 제어기 설계 단계에서 전력 계통의 불확실성을 고려할 수 있는 $H_{\infty}$ 제어 기법을 이용하여 플라이휠 에너지 저장장치를 위한 강인 제어기를 설계 하였다. 제안한 플라이휠 에너지 저장장치의 강인 제어기의 유용성을 입증하기 위하여 1기 무한대 모선에 적용한 결과를 비선형 시뮬레이션을 통하여 다양한 외란이 발생한 경우에 외란 억제 성능과 강인성에 대하여 고찰 하였으며, 제안한 방식이 기존의 전력계통 안정화 장치(Power system stabilizer: PSS) 보다 효율적이며 전력계통의 안정도 향상에 크게 기여함을 보이고자 하였다.

  • 3MW 풍력발전기용 발전기의 구조적 특성을 소개하고 회전자의 동특성 해석을 수행하였다. 이 발전기는 증속기를 사용하였으며 정격속도는 1459 rpm 이며 30% over speed trip 조건을 적용하여 설계되었다. 회전자 pole에 전원 공급 없이 자기장을 만드는 영구자석을 사용하는 형태로 구조는 간단하다. 발전기의 냉각방법은 공극을 냉각하기 위하여 팬을 이용하여 공기를 순환하며 고정자 외형에는 냉각채널을 부착하여 냉각수를 순환한다. 회전기계의 설계 시에는 반드시 진동을 고려하여 가능하면 진동을 줄이는 방향으로 설계가 되어야 하며 회전축 계의 설계에 있어서는 계의 강도, 위험속도, 불평형 진동응답 및 안정성 등을 고려하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 물리설계를 기본으로 하여 설계된 발전기의 형상을 간단하게 설명하고, 발전기의 회전자를 상용 유한요소 해석 프로그램인 ANSYS 를 이용하여 해석을 수행하였다. 해석절차는 정적해석을 수행하고 다음으로 모드해석을 수행 하였다. 모드형상에 따른 주파수를 표기하고 해석 결과를 나타내었다.

  • The identification of power flow in dynamically loaded structures Is essential in the analysis of structure-borne noise. However there are no general purpose tools to estimate powers flow. To make matters worse. It is very difficult to measure it. The power flow can be formulated in terms of balance forces(ELFORCE) at each element and velocities at the associated node obtained with MSC/NASTHAN. In this paper the procedure which is consist of the computations of the balance forces of al1 elements and the velocities at all nodes using MSC/NASTRAN. The calculations of the power f1ow at each element using PCL(PATRAN Command Language) and the Preparation of post -processes is set UP.

Symptoms on Generation of Combustion Oscillation and their Detection (진동연소 발생에 관한 징후와 이의 검출)

  • Usefulness of an optical fiber was demonstrated by detecting the generation of self-excited combustion oscillations. OH chemiluminescence intensity detected by the optical fiber showed mostly excellent agreement with those obtained by high speed CCD camera measurements when combustion oscillations were strong. Symptoms of self-excited combustion oscillation were also studied in order to predict the onset of combustion oscillation before it proceeded to a catastrophic failure. For the purpose, we have found and proposed unique measures to tell the onset of self-excited combustion oscillations based on the careful statistics of fluctuating properties in flames, such as pressure or omission of OH radicals.

  • The vibroacoustic analysis has been carried out on the RazakSAT qualification model which was developed by SI and ATSB. Statistical energy analysis was used for the analysis and the results was compared with acoustic test results. The equipments of the RazakSAT are simplified as uniformly distributed mass on the panels in the SEA model. According to the comparison of the analysis and test results, SEA is useful estimation of the response in high frequency region and the results are valid when the assumption of equipartition of modal energy is agreed.

  • The special binding mechanism developed provides higher density, lower porosity and higher strengths compared with conventional castables. $\rho$-alumina was employed as a binder materials and nano-sized clay colloidal was added to enhance the drying strength preparing for the alumina vibrated castable. Lower water requirement for casting results in a denser product. The mechanical properties with dimensional stability and corrosion resistance behaviors have been improved by controlling the matrix compositions of the castable. The modulus of rupture and compressive strength after heat treatment at 150$0^{\circ}C$ are 92.34 kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ and 370 kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ respectively. The activation energy of mullite formation is 11.47 kcal/mol.

Nonlinear Dynamic Behavior of a Cold-Formed Steel Shear Panel by Shaketable Tests (진동대 실험을 통한 조립식 스틸 전단 패널의 비선형 동적 거동)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the nonlinear behavior of a cold-formed steel (CFS) shear panel, which was composed of built-up columns and tension-only diagonal straps for bracing, when excited by earthquake motions. For the purpose, shaketable tests of a full-scale two-story cold-formed steel (CFS) shear panel were conducted. in the shear panel, the diagonal strap is a major lateral force resisting system, which is a very ductile member, and the columns, which are gravity resisting members, are fabricated by wooing studs, which can't develop their full flexural strength because they may buckle locally. The test results showed that the straps dissipate most of energy of the shear panel in a tension-only and pinched way and the columns dissipate it relatively smaller than the straps but they still contribute to overall dissipation. As a result of this study, investigating real nonlinear behavior of a structure in earthquakes is a very important process by shaketable tests even though it is simple.

  • Methylene blue-sensitized photopolymerizable material based on acrylamide is investigated with two-wave energy coupling experiments. Differently from other studies, self-diffraction oscillations are observed and the grating phase is determined without applying external electric fields, moving nonlinear materials, and phase shifting one of two writing beams. The phase grating showed a phase shift of $\pm$50$^{\circ}$ with respect to the intensity grating. Modified Kogelnik's coupled wave equation considering the mixed gratings of phase and absorption gratings and nonzero spatial phase shifts of the gratings with respect to the intensity interference patterns formed during the two-wave energy coupling is discussed in detail to understand these phenomenon.

  • In this paper, the validity for the application of the diffuse sound field theory to the real sound filed, especially on the bounding surfaces of the rooms, was studied. Numerical simulations using ray tracing technique for two models, namely spheres and a reverberant room, were performed. Calculation results show that the distribution of the incident sound energy vs incident angles is approximated to Gaussian distribution, not to the uniform distribution.
