The related factors of job satisfaction in care facilities for the aged (노인요양시설 직원의 직무만족 관련요인 -사회인구학적 특성과 시설특성을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to search the related factors of job satisfaction in care facilities for the aged in order to improve quality of service and to help management of care facilities. Data was collected from staff who agreed with informed consent of this study among care facilities for the aged. Subjects were 152 staff members from 29 care facilities. The research was conducted during six month. The major findings of this study are as follows. Firstly, in the job satisfaction of staffs according to demographic characteristics of subjects, it was found that the workers with longer work experience in current facilities had higher job satisfaction. Secondly, in the job satisfaction according to characteristics of care facilities, it was found that when staff's opinion was accepted or considered that job experience was higher. In Conclusion, to increase job satisfaction of care facilities for the aged, we should consider the above two points.

  • 우리나라 자동차산업에서의 정비서비스업은 After Market을 대표하는 중요한 업종이며, 상용트럭 또한 국가 물류와 건설현장에서 가장 큰 비중을 차지하고 있는 중요한 부문임에는 틀림이 없다. 본 논문의 목적은 상용트럭 딜러기업의 정비서비스분야에서 물리적 환경과 내부마케팅이 직원만족과 조직성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 영향력을 알아보는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 국내 및 수입 상용트럭 직영 및 딜러 종합정비업체 25개 직원들을 대상으로 하여 설문조사하고 실증 분석하였다. 주요한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자동차 정비사업소의 물리적 환경은 직원만족에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 내부마케팅은 직원만족에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 직원만족은 조직성과에 유의한 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

The Effect of Differences between Job Expectations and Job Satisfaction on Overall Employee Satisfaction -Focused on University Staff- (직무 기대와 직무 만족의 차이가 전반적인 직원 만족에 미치는 영향 -대학 행정직원을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of differences between job expectations and satisfaction on overall employee satisfaction. A survey was conducted on administrative staff at S University in Seoul for 8 days from December 17, 2018 to December 24, 2018. First, the difference between job expectation and job satisfaction, a significant negative difference occurred for all 15 measurement variables. Second, the factors of work cost and personnel system were found to have a significant negative effect on employee satisfaction. If the expected discrepancy between work cost and personnel system increases by 1, employee satisfaction decreases by 0.35 and 0.24, respectively. Third, among the sub-categories of work cost and personnel system, department allocation and division of duties, proper compensation payment, rationality of compensation decision process, and good welfare system were found to have a significant correlation. By analyzing the significant correlation between expected discrepancies and employee satisfaction, focusing on items that can increase employee satisfaction while lowering the financial burden, narrowing the expected discrepancy of staff increases employee satisfaction and improves the quality of education services.

  • The purposes of this study were to understand the differences of general characteristics, to compare understanding level of the organization cultures, and to develop more good management methods between outsourcing workers and regular workers in hospitals. Major results of this study were as follows: First, regular workers had higher level than outsourcing workers in major understanding on job satisfaction and organization cultures(pride of their jobs, recognition level of job performance ability, satisfaction on ordering method. etc.). Second, the results showed that the level of job performances related with effective management of the factors in job satisfaction and involvement. Third, through multiple regression analysis to understand factors on job satisfaction and involvement, we understood that regular workers were effected by vision performance of hospital and their value view-point, and outsourcing workers were influenced by recognition levels and education levels of hospital vision, Therefore, to maximize level of job satisfaction and involvement. we have interest in development of education program for outsourcing workers, and selection of adequate persons in hospital culture.

  • The primary purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between market orientation and new product performance in a manufacturing firms, and examines how product quality, employee satisfaction, and innovation speed play a mediating role between market orientation and new product performance. Based on relevant literature reviews, this study posits three mediators, that is, product quality, employee satisfaction, and innovation speed as key determinants of new product performance. And then we structured a research model and hypotheses about relationship between these variables. A total 159 usable survey responses of Korean food/pharmaceutical firms have been employed in the analysis. The data were analyzed with Amos12.0K. The results be summarized as follows: First, market orientation had a positive influence upon product quality, employee satisfaction, and innovation speed. Second, two mediators of employee satisfaction, innovation speed had a positive influence upon new product performance. Third, employee satisfaction had a positive influence upon product quality and innovation speed. According to the result of this research, a manufacturing firms have to focus on the market orientation and understand the role of product quality, employee satisfaction, and innovation speed mediators on the process between the market orientation and the new product performance.

  • 도서관 경영은 일반기업의 경영과는 달리 도서관 자체의 특수성을 최대한으로 고려한 관리기술이 필요하다. 또한, 어느 조직이든 인적자원이 중요한 조직의 요소가 되지만, 도서관의 경우 지적인 정보서비스가 이루어지는 곳이므르 특히 인적자원의 중요성이 더 높다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 도서관 직원의 직무만족은 도서관 조직의 목표달성을 위해 매우 중요한 역할을 하며, 직원의 직무만족을 높일 수 있는 리더십인 필요하다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 도서관 직원의 직무만족과 리더십 간의 관계를 규명하므로써, 도서관의 주 목표인 정보제공의 효율성을 달성하는데 기여하고자 한다.

  • This study analyzed the gap between users' perception and staff expectations on users' perceptions about dimensions of library service quality(library staff, service supports. materials and resources, and facilities and equipments), service value, user satisfaction, royalty. using newly developed model. Six hundred-fourteen users and one hundred staff members or the National Libra of Korea were participated in the survey using questionnaires. Users evaluated service quality lower but evaluated service value, satisfaction. and loyalty higher In terms of showing complaining behaviors, users were less than staffs expected. Model analysis for users and staff3 showed that service value and general satisfaction influenced on complaining behavior and loyalty. For users. only the dimension of library staff influenced significantly on the service value, satisfaction, complaining behavior, and loyalty. None of the other dimensions of the service qualify showed significant relationship to them in the case of staff expectation.

  • The purpose of this study is to review the effect of internal marketing on job satisfaction in food service industry. In order to verify and achieve the purposes mentioned above, questionnaire data are gathered and analysed from 438 employees and their superiors for measuring employees' service quality fromKangwon province. Multiple regression is applied to test the proposed 2 hypotheses: the relationship between internal marketing and intrinsic job satisfaction, and the relationship between internal marketing and extrinsic job satisfaction. Empirical survey's findings are as follows; First, management support, internal communication and employment security have positive relationships with intrinsic job satisfaction. Second, management support, training & education has positive effect on extrinsic job satisfaction and employment security have positive relationships with extrinsic job satisfaction.

  • This study examines the role of Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) activity recognition on job satisfaction, prosocial activities, and job performance among customer representatives working in call center environments. After gathering data from 264 call center workers in major South Korean insurance companies, the analysis w as performed using SmartPLS 4.0. This study's findings reveal that employee recognition of ESG activities significantly enhanced job satisfaction. The impact of ESG activity recognition on prosocial behavior was positive but relatively weak. Job satisfaction influences both prosocial behavior and the job performance of employees. Finally, prosocial behavior positively influences job performance. The most significant finding is that employees' recognition of companies' ESG management practices serves as a job resource. This recognition enhances employees' attitudes, behavior, and performance, signaling the potential benefits of informing employees about corporations' ethical behaviors.
