The Effect of Internet Addiction on Depression and Job Stress among IT Engineer (전산직 종사자의 인터넷 중독 정도가 우울감 및 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향)

  • 본 연구는 전산직과 비전산직 종사자의 인터넷 중독 정도가 직무스트레스 및 우울감에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자, 2009년 10월 25일부터 12월 9일까지 서울 및 대전에 소재한 2개의 공공기관 건물내 근무하고 종사자 500명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 일반적 특성, 직무스트레스, 우울감 정도, 일상적인 인터넷 이용, 인터넷 중독 자가진단을 조사하였다. 주요 결과는 첫째, 일반적 특성에 따른 직무스트레스 요인별 분류에서는 개인 관련요인이 낮은 연령과 미혼인 경우, 아파트 외 기타에서 거주하는 경우 높게 나타났고, 조직 외 요인의 직무스트레스에서는 전산직에 비해 비전산직이 통계적으로 높게 나타났다(p<0.05). 둘째, 인터넷 중독에 따른 직무스트레스에서는 직무 관련요인, 개인 관련요인, 조직 외 요인 모두 일반 사용자보다 잠재적 위험사용자가 높게 나타났다(p<0.05). 셋째, 우울감 정도에 따른 직무스트레스에서는 우울감 정도가 정상인 경우에 비해 경미함 및 중증도의 경우가 직무 관련요인, 개인 관련요인, 조직 외 요인 모두 높은 직무스트레스를 나타냈다(p<0.05). 넷째, 직무스트레스와 우울감을 종속변수로 한 다중회귀분석 결과를 보면 직무스트레스는 결혼여부, 가족구성원 수, 인터넷 중독이 유의한 변수였고, 25.6%의 설명력을 나타냈다. 우울감은 결혼여부와 인터넷 중독이 유의한 변수였고, 26.4%의 설명력을 나타냈다. 전산직 및 비전산직의 인터넷 중독과 직무스트레스 및 우울감은 관련성이 있는 것으로 나타났고, 인터넷 중독이 심할수록 직무스트레스가 높았으며, 우울감 정도가 심할수록 역시 직무스트레스가 높은 것으로 나타났다.

Relationship between Stress and Job Satisfaction of Fire-fighters (소방공무원의 스트레스 요인과 직무만족간의 관계)

  • Most of previous studies on civil servants' stress factors and job satisfaction have been focused on low job satisfaction caused by stress from role relations and human relations. In case of fire officers, however, their stress is expected to be influenced by their unique job characteristics such as risk, urgency, stand-by, and shift. Thus, this study divided fire officers'stress factors into job-related factors (risk, urgency, stand-by, alternation) and role-related factors (role conflict, role ambiguity, role overload), and empirically analyzed how these factors affect their job satisfaction. According to the results of this study, fire officers' job characteristics and their roles in the organization had a significant effect on their job satisfaction. Particularly, among the job-related factors, urgency and stand-by had a positive effect on job satisfaction, and among role-related factors, role conflict and role overload had a negative effect on job satisfaction. In addition, fire officers' stress and job satisfaction were significantly different according to their job (fire fighting, rescue and first aid, fire administration, others), and according to their workplace (fire fighting headquarters, fire station, 119 safety center).

  • 효과적인 조직운영을 위한 직무스트레스의 관리는 무엇보다 조직구성원이 지각하고 있는 직무스트레스 유발요인이 무엇인지를 파악하고, 직무로 발생하는 스트레스의 역기능을 최소화하거나 스트레스 요인을 제거함으로써 조직 효과성을 제고시킬 수 있는 연구가 필요하다. 연구의 결과 소방공무원의 직무스트레스에 대해 영향요인은 심리적 환경이 가장 영향력 있는 변수이며, 그 다음으로는 작업환경, 조직문화, 신체적 환경 순으로 나타났으며 행정업무와 인간관계는 통계적으로 유의미하지 않은 것으로 나타났다.

Empirical Verification of the Korean Occupational Stress Scale in Physical Therapist (한국인 직무스트레스 측정도구에 관한 실증적 연구: 물리치료사를 대상으로)

  • Occupational Stress is defined the stress which occurs in the workplace or organization. In Korean workers, the rate of occupational stress was 87.8% which was the highest level among OECD countries(average 80.0%). The purpose of this study was to examine the empirical verification of the Korean Occupational Stress Scale(KOSS) in physical therapists. For this purpose, the subject of this study was set up physical therapists who were working at Gyeonggi province and collected from 388 persons by using purposive sampling. The collected data was conducted explanatory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis in order to ascertain factor structure and practical verification of KOSS. Major results were as following: first, the reliability of KOSS was 0.83, and it means that a measure of internal consistency is high. Second, the KOSS result of physical therapists was composed 7 subscales(job demand, insufficient job control, job insecurity, interpersonal conflict, occupational system and lack of reward, organizational climate) and that is more appropriate measurement scale than the original one by using explanatory/confirmatory factor analysis. This study could be contributed as a tool for evaluation and outcome of the basic information of related occupational stress in physical therapists.

A Study on Job Factors of Non-Regular Radiotechnologists (비정규직 방사선사의 직무적 요인에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구는 의료기관에서 근무하는 방사선사를 고용형태를 중심으로 구분하여, 정규직과 비정규직 간의 인식차이, 이직의도, 직무스트레스, 심리적 상태의 관계를 알아보고자 실시하였다. 연구 대상은 수도권역과 지방권역으로 9개 의료기관에서 종사하는 방사선사 308명으로 하였다. 2012년 7월 18일에서 9월 15일까지 수집된 설문지를 통계적으로 분석하여 다음과 같은 연구 결과를 얻었다. 정규직과 비정규직 방사선사의 인식차이에서 정규직은 성별, 월 급여, 지역권에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 이직의도는 정규직에서 학력, 월 급여, 지역권에서 그리고 비정규직은 성별에서만 유의한 차이가 있었다. 직무스트레스는 정규직에서 학력, 월 급여, 지역권에서와 비정규직은 성별, 나이, 결혼, 총 직장 근무연수에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 심리적 상태에서 정규직은 성별에서와 비정규직은 성별, 결혼에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 정규직, 비정규직 간의 직무적 요인에 대한 상관관계에서 인식차이는 이직의도와 심리적 상태에서, 이직의도는 인식차이와 직무스트레스 및 심리적 상태에서, 직무스트레스는 이직의도와 심리적 상태에서, 심리적 상태는 인식차이, 이직의도 및 직무스트레스에서 유의하였다. 고용형태에 따른 요인별 직무스트레스에서는 직무요구 요인, 직무자율성 요인, 관계갈등 요인, 직무불안정 요인에서 유의한 차이가 있었다.

Correlation between Job Stress and Job Satisfaction of Private Security Guard (민간경비원의 직무스트레스와 직무만족도의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify problems of private security guard playing an important role at the front of private security industry effectively by examining correlation between job stress and job satisfaction of private security guard and present proposals of effective operation of private security industry. Through data analysis according to study methods and procedures mentioned above, below conclusions were obtained. First, as results of analyzing correlation between job stress and work satisfaction of private security guard, one of subsidiary job satisfaction factors, it was found that lower stress to role complications and wage system relates to higher work satisfaction. Second, as results of analyzing correlation between job stress and superior satisfaction of private security guard, one of subsidiary job satisfaction factors, it was found that lower stress to wage system, responsibility, and role complications relates to higher superior satisfaction. Third, as results of analyzing correlation between job stress and equal opportunity satisfaction of private security guard, one of subsidiary job satisfaction factors, it was found that lower stress to wage system, responsibility, and role complications relates to higher equal opportunity satisfaction. Forth, as results of analyzing correlation between job stress and welfare satisfaction of private security guard, one of subsidiary job satisfaction factors, it was found that lower stress to wage system and role complications relates to higher welfare satisfaction. Fifth, as results of analyzing correlation between job stress and wage satisfaction of private security guard, one of subsidiary job satisfaction factors, it was found that lower stress to wage system and role complications relates to higher wage satisfaction. Sixth, as results of analyzing correlation between job stress and job pride, one of subsidiary job satisfaction factors, it was found that lower stress to wage system and role complications relates to higher job pride. Seventh, as results of analyzing correlation between job stress and co-worker satisfaction, one of subsidiary job satisfaction factors, it was found that lower stress to wage system and role complications relates to higher co-worker satisfaction.

Relationship between Perfectionism and Job Stress of Archery Trainers (양궁지도자의 완벽주의 성향과 직무스트레스의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the relationship between perfectionism and job stress of archery trainers. Participants of this study were 113 archery trainers who worked at the middle and high school's archery teams. Some of the archery trainers who participated in korea archery championship for junior in 2007 were selected using the purposive sampling method. The questionnaire was Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale developed by Hewitt and Flett(1991) which was revised by Lim(2005) into Korean and The Job Stress Scale developed by Jo(1998). Responses were made on 5-point and 7-point scale. The statistical methods for the analysis of this study were Pearson's correlation and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study were as follows. First, there was self perfectionism, person perfectionism, social perfectionism highly on the perfectionism of archery trainers and job condition stress, game stress, job load stress, support system stress, interpersonal relation stress highly on the job stress. Second, there was statistical significant relation between the job condition stress, game stress, job load stress and self perfectionism, between the game stress, job load stress and person perfectionism. Third, self perfectionism affect on job condition stress and self and person perfectionism affect on game stress, job load stress.

An Analysis on Factors Related to the Job Satisfaction of Dental Hygienists at J Region (J지역 치과위생사의 직무스트레스 요인 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the job stress and job stressors of dental hygienists. The subjects in the study were 220 dental hygienists who worked in north Jeolla province. After a mail survey was conducted from July 24 through September 24, 2006, the responses from 180 dental hygienists(response rate 81.8%) were gathered, and 156 answer sheets were analyzed except 24 incomplete ones that couldn't be analyzable. The findings of the study were as follows: 1. As for the correlation of overall job stress to turnover intention, their entire stress was under the influence of unreasonable treatment (r = 0.382), conflicts as a professional(r = 0.285), tough working environments(r = 0.303), conflicts with colleagues(r = 0.233), and heavy workload (r = 0.262). Those who were more stressed were more willing to change their occupation, and their stress level made a statistically significant difference to that(p < 0.01). 2. A multiple regression analysis was carried out by selecting the job stressors and turnover intention as independent and dependent variables respectively to see how each of the stressors affected job stress. And unreasonable treatment(p < 0.001) was identified as what had the biggest impact on that, followed by conflicts as a professional(p < 0.05), and tough working environments (p < 0.05). The stressors made a 22.2% prediction of turnover intention.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between job stress and mental health of caretakers by SCL-90-R. This study are to offer basic information for patients the quality of service interventions. The sample for the study consisted of 247 caretakers who work in Busan. The results of this study are as follows: 1) Caretakers' mental health and job stress was not serious level. 2) There was an important factor in job stress, which was suitable pay. 3) Caretakers' job stress was positively related to mental health. There is a statistical correlation between the relationship with mental health and job stress. 4) Caretakers' mental health was affected by job stress level. Therefore, We need training and program that focuses on management job stress in caretakers.

  • 세계적으로 선박 교통량 증가와 함께 선박 사고 원인의 90% 이상을 차지하는 인적요인에 대한 심층적인 연구의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 해상교통관제 업무는 고도의 주의와 예측능력을 요구하며 이를 저해하는 인적요인 분석 및 관리 필요성이 절실한 분야이다. 특히 관제업무는 교대근무 등의 불규칙한 근무형태로 인해 발생되는 피로와 업무 집중력 저하, 스트레스가 많은 업무이다. 무엇보다 관제 업무는 해상안전에 핵심적인 역할을 하는데, 관제사의 피로와 스트레스로 인한 업무 차질은 자칫 안전사고로까지 이어질 수 있는 위험이 존재한다. 이렇듯 인적요인이 중요한 영역임에도 불구하고 관제사들의 체계적인 스트레스 관리에 대한 방안은 미비한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 직무스트레스 유발요인, 유발결과 및 설문조사를 통하여 관제사들의 직무스트레스 현 실태를 파악하고자 한다. 그리고 연구결과를 바탕으로 관제사의 피로, 스트레스를 관리하기 위한 방안과 더 나아가 효율적인 인적요인 안전관리 방안을 모색하고자 한다.
