A study on the new high efficiency rectifier system (고효율 신형 정류시스템에 대한 고찰)

  • 교환기나 전송장치 등 각종 통신설비에 전원을 공급하기 위해서 정류기, 축전지 및 발전기 등의 전원설비가 사용되고 있다. 이들 중에서도 정류기는 통신설비에 직류전원을 공급하기 때문에 다른 전원설비 보 다도 신뢰성 및 안정성이 확보된 장치로 인식되어 왔다. 그러나 현재 사내전화국에 설치 운용중인 정류기는 교환 기별로 종류가 다양하여 유지보수에 어려움이 내재하고 있을 뿐만 아니라 통신망의 광대역화, 대용량화에 대처가 곤란하며 정류기를 전력실 또는 통신실에 집중해서 설치 운용하는 집중공급방식으로는 축전지의 만충전이 곤란하다. 또한 현재의 이러한 급전방식은 통신장치의 광대역화, 고도화 등 통신망의 급격한 발전과 함께 다음과 같은 문제점이 대두되고 있다. 첫째, 전력실에서 총괄하여 교류전력을 직류48V로 변환해서 급전하기 때문에 급전전류가 크게되고, 또한 전력실에서 통신실까지의 급전손실이 크다 둘째, 통신설비의 증감에 따른 전원설비의 증감이 어렵기 때문에 설비 가동율이 나쁘다 셋째, 전원설비의 고장에 의한 전화국 전체설비에 심각한 영향을 미칠수 있다 이러한 문제점을 해소하기 위하여 집중 및 분산급전방식으로 운용이 가능하며, 또한 모든 전원설비를 감시/제어하는 전원 집중관리 시스템과의 인터페이스 등이 가능한 정류시스템을 1997년부터 개발하였다. 본고에서는 신형 정류기와 기존의 정류기와의 성능 및 특성에 대해 비교하였고, 특히 경제성측면과 설치상련에 대해 비교분석 하였다. 또한 집중급전방식과 분산급전방식의 특성에 대해서도 서술하였다.

A Study on Hybrid Power Generation System for Hour-Flight Drone (시간체공 드론 적용을 위한 하이브리드 동력시스템 연구)

  • In this research works, we propose a hybrid power generation system for drone capable of staying in the air for more than 1 hour. This power system converts the alternating current generated by the generator into direct current through a diode bridge circuit to charge the battery and uses a battery system having separated cells to obtain high controllability of the power system. The fuel efficiency and the power output for individual load were analyzed, and also the performance of a selected generator was studied in this paper. The drone which is equipped with the proposed hybrid power generation system calculated 0.82 ratio for weight vs power output, and flight time of drone showed 4,179 seconds.

  • Many studies have been conducted to reduce environmental pollution by ships and reduce fuel consumption. As part of this effort, research on power conversion systems through DC distribution systems that link renewable energy with conventional power grids has been pursued as well. The diode rectifiers currently used include many lower harmonics in the input current of the load and distort supply voltage to lower the power quality of the whole system. This distortion of voltage waveforms causes the malfunctions of generators, load devices and inverter pole switching elements, resulting in a large number of switching losses. In this paper, a controller is presented to improve DC output waveforms, the input Power Factor and the THD of an AFE type PWM rectifier used for PLL. DC output voltage waveforms have been improved, and the input Power Factor can now be matched to the unit power factor. In addition, the THD of the input power supply has been proven by simulation to comply with the requirements of IEEE Std514-2014.

  • The paper proposed a control strategy for flywheel energy/recovery system with induction machine at the dynamic UPS system using the flywheel stored mechanical energy. The performances for the vector controlled induction generator are compared with those for the induction generator using slip control method. The strategy to improve the transient responses for dc link capacitor voltage is suggested at the transition from the motoring mode to the generating mode. The strategy Proposed by the paper is verified with experiment results using 32bit DSP.

무부하운전시의 철극동기기의 3상단락

  • 본 논문에서 취급한 제동권선이 없는 철극선의 3상단락현상을 해명하는데 있어 우선 임의력율의 전류를 횡축분과 직축분으로 분리해서 취급하는 소위 Blonde의 2반작용법(two reaction method)를 썼고, 각종 Reactance를 표시하는데는 편리한 단위법(perunit notation)을 사용했으며, 전기자의 1상저항은 각종 Reactance ( $X_{x}$, $X_{q}$ )의 어느것 보담도 극소치임으로 실제계산에는 무시했으나 과도전류의 변화를 좌우하는 감쇠정수[decrement factor)에는 큰 영향을 준다는 것이 규명되었다. 해석결과로서 3상단락전류의 초기치는 특수치보다 훨씬 큰 이유로서 단락전류가 계자자속을 약하게 만들어 그 반동으로 계자회로에 일정자속을 유지하기 위하여 부문적으로 개자전류가 증대함을 알게되었고, 단락전류의 직축분과 횡축분의 구성분이 규명검토되었고, 발전기의 돌발단락저류는 일반적으로 직류분, 기본파교류분 및 제2조파등을 포함하나 그 전부가 시정수의 역수인 감쇠정수에 지배되어서 지수함수곡선에 따라 감쇠되어 결국에는 지속단락전류에 귀착한다는 사실과 3상단락은 평형단락사고임으로 영상전류는 영이며 각상과도전류의 위상차가 120.deg.라는 것엔 변함이 없다는 것과 끝으로 철극기를 정격속도로 운전해 놓고 이것을 여자해서 무부하전압을 수기시켜 그의 3상전단자를 돌연 단락해서 그의 과도전류의 파형을 Oscillograph로 촬영하면 본론에서 해석한 결과식의 그것과 일치하게 됨을 알 수 있을 것이다.것이다.

  • In many countries, such as developing countries where electricity is scarce, small wind turbines in the form of Off Grid are an effective solution to solve power supply problems. In some countries, the expansion of power systems and the decline of electricity-intensive areas have led to the use of small wind power in urban road lighting, mobile communications base stations, aquaculture and seawater desalination. With this change, the size of the small wind power industry is expected to have greater potential than large-scale wind power. In the case of small wind power generators, the generator is controlled at a variable speed, and the voltage and current generated by the generator have many harmonic components. To solve this problem, the AC to DC converter to be studied in this paper is a three-phase step-up type converter with a single switch. The inductor current is controlled in discontinuous mode, and has a characteristic of having a unit power factor by eliminating the harmonic of the input current. The proposed converter is composed of LCL filter and three phase rectification boost converter at the input stage and a single phase full bridge for grid connection. It is a control system with energy storage system(ESS) that the system stabilization can be pursued against the electric power.

  • Recently, power converters installed on the specialized vessels such as LNG Carrier and Icebreaker and offshore plants mainly use diode rectifier. However, such devices cause distortion of supply voltage waveform by involving much harmonics to input current of non linearity load in rectifying operation. Distortion of supply voltage waveform can be problems such as false operation of generator, transformer and load device and deterioration of power quality. This thesis is focusing with a view to producing accurate sinusoidal AC waveform with certain load through improvement of distortion of current waveform causing under operation of rectifier by using accurate circuit of DC shaping. The result of computer simulation proved that harmonics involved in current and voltage waveform of power system can be reduced.

  • For drones to be used for industrial or agricultural applications, it is necessary to increase the payload and endurance. Currently, the payload and endurance are limited by the battery technology for electric powered drones. In addition, charging or replacing the batteries may not be a practical solution at the field that requires near continuous operation. In this paper, a procedure to optimize the power system of an electric hybrid drone that consists of an internal combustion engine, a generator, a battery, and electric motors is presented. The example drone for crop dusting is sized for easy transportation with a maximum takeoff weight of 200 kg. The two main rotors that are mechanically connected to the internal combustion engine provides most of the lift. The drone is controled by four electric motors that are driven by the generator. By analyzing the flow of the energy, a methodology to select the optimum propeller and motor among the commercially available models is described. Then, a procedure of finding the optimum operational condition along with the proper gear reduction ratios for the internal combustion engine based on the test data is presented.

  • We designed and fabricated square coils of 4 layered structure on a PCB board. The size of the coils were $1{\times}1cm^2\;and\;$2{\times}2cm^2$. The line width of the fabricated coils was $100{\mu}m$. By reciprocating a magnet on the surface of a fabricated square coil which is composed of 4 layers, an alternating output voltage was obtained. We changed the vibrational frequency from 0.5 to 7 Hz. The generated voltages were 62 mV at $1{\times}1cm^2$ and 245 mV at $2{\times}2cm^2$ when 5.5 Hz frequency. We rectified and stepped up the output voltage using a quadrupler circuit and $2{\times}2cm^2$ coil. Before using the step up circuit, the measured voltage was 320 mV at 7 Hz. After using the step up circuit, the measured voltage was 400 mV at 7 Hz.

  • This paper presents a S-FES(Superconducting magnetic becuing Flywheel Energy Storage System) for the p purpose of replacing battery used to store the energy. Especially, the design elements of FES, such as the b beming, wheel mateηaI, and power converter, etc., are described. The design and manufacturing techniques of t the controllable IXlwer converter are proposed to generate the sinusoidal output current in the high speed operation and to get the const빠synchronous motor with halbach cuTay of high coesive I\d-Fe-B permanent magnet is used as the driver of F FES. The proposed S-FES system shows the stable rotation characteristics at high speed range about l 10,000[rpm]. To verify the validity of proposed system, the comparative study with the conventional ball b beming s~rstem is proceeded and it is well confirmed with the result of the lower friction losses of S-FES S system.
