일반 시민들이 많이 이용하는 지하철의 안전에 관심이 많으나 안전사고도 끊이지 않고 있다. 그 대책으로 스크린도어가 설치되었지만 스크린도어 사망사고 및 오작동 사례가 적지 않게 야기되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 임베디드 시스템의 센서들을 이용하여 지하철 안전사고 예방을 위한 안전선 시스템을 설계 하였다. 초음파센서를 이용하여 사람이 접근함에 따라 LED 센서 및 부저 센서가 작동하여 상황의 위험성을 알려 안전사고를 예방하도록 설계하고 구현하였다.

This study identifies visible/invisible factors and analyzes facilities, structure, and visible perceptive contents in the aspects of operation and efficiency with a focus on the interfaces between interior design of the subway and users. More specifically, it diagnoses the requirements and empirically presents improvements. As the interior design in the subway trains is fur the public reflecting the value, consciousness, and behaviors of users, it should be approached through the application of the concept of universal design that considers the potential needs and psychological satisfaction of users. In arranging the indoor of the vehicles, the conditions for the facilities should be specified through the interdisciplinary approach from professional fields including ergonomics and psychology, the path of flow should be induced through the use of space and the analysis of passengers' behaviors, an integrated planning should be re-established, and continuous evaluations of basic guidelines, manuals, and requirements should be made.

This study analyzes the network structure of the Metropolitan Seoul subway system by applying complex network analysis methods. For the purpose, we construct the Metropolitan Seoul subway system as a network graph, and then calculate various indices introduced in complex network analysis. Structural characteristics of Metropolitan Seoul subway network are discussed by these indices. In particular, this study determines the shortest paths between nodes based on the weighted distance (physical and time distance) as well as topological network distance, since urban travel movements are more sensitive for them. We introduce an accessibility measurement based on the shortest distance both in terms of physical distance and network distance, and then compare the spatial structure between two. Accessibility levels of the system have been getting up overall, and thus the accessibility gaps have been getting lessen between center located subway stops and remote ones during the last 10 years. Passenger traffic volumes are explored from real passenger transaction databases by utilizing data mining techniques, and mapped by GIS. Clear differences reveal between the spatial patterns of real passenger flows and accessibility. That is, passenger flows of the Metropolitan Seoul subway system are related with population distribution and land use around subway stops as well as the accessibility supported by the subway network.

Seoul city is publishing new plans to increase modal share rate of bicycle every year, such as, maintaining bicycle related facilities. But bicycle's modal share rate in Seoul stayed same for the last decade and people are still facing difficulties using bicycle related facilities. These problems are causing bicycle usage as connecting transportation of public transit to decrease. This study looked at the high bicycle modal countries, such as, Netherlands, Germany and Japan to find applicable solutions by analyzing cases and comparing them with cases of highly populated subway station of Sindorim in Seoul. For example, in Germany and Netherlands there is bicycle-parking system to help bikers to access subway easier, in Japan there is underground bicycle parking tower to safely keep high volume of bicycles with in small space. For Seoul city to increase its modal share rate, they should look at problems from users' prospective and solve it by fixing it and improving the services, not by making more facilities.

As the need of eco-friendly transportation systems for sustainable development increases, public transport accessibility has been considered as an important element of transportation system design. When analyzing the accessibility, shortest path algorithms can be utilized to reflect the actual movement and we can obtain high resolution accessibility for all other stations on the network with shortest distance and time. This study used the algorithm improved by reflecting the penalty of number of transfers and waiting time of overlapped routes to get the accessibility. KTX Seoul Station is a target place and this algorithm is applied to multi-layer subway bus network of Seoul to calculate the accessibility, therefore this study presented the accessibility of KTX Seoul station by stations.

In accordance with low carbon and green growth paradigm, a subway is one of major public transit systems for resolving traffic congestion and decreasing traffic accidents. In addition, as subway networks expand, passengers' travel pattern in the subway network change and consequently affect the urban structure. Generally, new subway route has been planned and developed, mainly considering a travel demand forecast. However, it is desired to conduct an empirical analysis on the forecast model regarding change of travel accessibility and passenger demand pattern according to new subway line. Therefore, in this paper, an alternative method, developed based upon a spatial syntax model, is proposed for evaluating new subway route in terms of passenger's mobility and network accessibility. In a case study, we constructed subway network data, mainly targeting the no 9 subway line opened in 2009. With an axial-map analysis, we calculated spatial characteristics to describe topological movement interface. We then analyzed actual modal shift and change on demand of passengers through the number of subway passenger between subway stations and the number of passenger according to comparative bus line from Smart Card to validate suggested methods. Results show that the proposed method provides quantitative means of visualizing passenger flow in subway route planning and of analyzing the time-space characteristics of network. Also, it is expected that the proposed method can be utilized for predicting a passengers' pattern and its impact on public transportation.

Recently the characteristics of those who committed serious terrorist crimes are not directly related to the direct command system of a specific terrorist organization (ex. IS) but are influenced by the political propaganda of terrorist organizations online, Terrorist crime under the loose form of the terrorist organization. Therefore, this study suggests ways to improve countermeasures against terrorism in metropolitan subways. Although it is important for the prevention of terrorism in the subway, it is important for the police officers of the subway police and the special police officers of the railway to have a physical limit to take charge of them, and after confirming that improvement measures are necessary, And pointed out the possibility of establishing independent security departments where judicial and administrative control is not feasible to grant police rights. In addition, I pointed out how to improve the safety of subways in the metropolitan area through the recruitment of core job candidates and the identity survey during the subway operation. Furthermore, it was confirmed that a special council on terrorism, which can take into consideration the characteristics of subway terrorism, such as airports and ports, is required to be established in charge of terrorism prevention under the current Anti-Terrorism Act. Finally, it is once again emphasized that the strengthening of the powers of the counterparts to terrorism must inevitably limit the basic rights of the people, so the principle of proportionality must be observed in their activities.

Like always selecting anything in everyday lives, We must choose a travel mode to achieve its purposes driven by diverse factors such as travel distance and accessibility of public transit. Assuming that they are differentiated depending on whether a travel purpose is commuting, shopping or leasure, the study investigated their distinguished impacts on travel mode choice by using binary logit models by travel purpose and mode. Identifying that travel time has an important role in choosing a travel mode whether its purpose is any, the results show that longer travel time tends to increase the possibilities of taking public transit, transfer and rail transit rather than bus. In addition, the easy use of a car and its parking to travelers is more important in their choosing an automobile as a travel mode than other factors. In the models of identifying the probability of mode choice between bus and rail transit, we find that its choice tends to be decided by travelers depending on whether any public transit mode is more accessible to them. When comparing the results among travel purposes, we identify that the easy use of a car and parking in their destination is more important for commuting, while accessibility of public transit in their origination increases the probability of taking a transit mode.

환경은 한 사회를 다루는 지엽적인 문제가 아닌 생존을 위한 생태학적 장임과 동시에 모든 학문연 구의 기초를 이루고 있는 토대이기도 하다. 그러나 환경에 대한 디자인의 현재의 접근방법은 밖으로 표출되는 단편적인 부분으로써의 개체를 볼 뿐 생물유기체와 환경을 형성하는 인간과 물질, 또는 인 간과 인간의 관계성과 유기체론적 접근에 대한 고민과 문제해결 위한 노력이 등한시 되어왔다. 이에 본 논고는 디자인계획 대항으로써 뿐만 아니라 인간이 영위하며 문화를 형성해 나가 총체성의 분야로 써의 환경을 어떻게 이해할 것인가와 색채적용의 문제에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 이것은 또한 앞으로의 디자인이 한개인의 추관적 가치평가에 따른 조형적 표현이 아닌 인간의 행태-환경개념으로써의 학문적 접근인 종합과학적 접근(inter-disciplinary approach)으로 나아가야 함을 제시하는 것이다.

The record industry, which consists of the cultural industries, has been deeply interrelated with the innovations of the science and the technologies. In Korea, the record industry has been developed dramatically since the late 1980s, and thus it has formed a huge business, and has also brought a lot of accompanying economical effects. The record industry is constituted with four circulation steps such as producing, manufacturing, wholesaling and retailing, which follow the different locational orients, respectively. The purpose oi this study is to investigate the locational characteristics of each step. Because of the shortage of the data, this study based on the direct data from field studies, interviews, and surveys, as well as the existing document data. The results of this research are summarized as following: the record industry shows strong concentrations in Seoul and the surrounding areas. It also shows the spatial linkage with other industries that are necessary for the production, advertisement, and sales of records. The locations of the record producers are affected by the location of broadcasting stations. Therefore, they are concentrate in Kangnam and Yeouido, where many broadcasting stations are located.
