It is widely believed that increasing socio-economic polarization inspired by globalization and economic restructuring worsens residential segregation by class in Korean cities. However, the existing literature falls short in showing the recent changes of the residential segregation, particularly after the 1997 financial crisis, with reliable and systematic segregation measures. Noting that there are the two major dimension in residential segregation - evenness-concentration and exposure-clustering - this study introduced not only global measure (dissimilarity index and isolation/interaction index) but also local measures (location quotient and Local Moran's I) for each dimension. These measures are applied to the case study of Seoul in the 2000s. The class is defined by education attainment and the data is obtain through the MicroData System Service System(MDSS). The result shows that the residential segregation by education attainment persists through 2000s and even get worse in some dimension. More significantly, it turns out that high-class and low-class residence are nearly mirror-images of each other, indicating high segregation.

This study performed intensive indicators based on a model of economics of education. Trends of childcare in Korea were obtained by producing values developed with statistical data. Results showed that such simple initial indicator values as numbers of children, institutions and teachers have improved. However, intensive indicator values that take demographic and economic conditions into consideration have not reached the same rate of progress as the initial indicator values. In other words, qualitative growth remains at an unsatisfactory level in comparison to quantitative growth and to qualitative growth in members of the Organization for Economics Cooperation and Development (OECD).Thus, financial investment by the government should be expanded in order to reach the desired level of high quality in daycare for children.

서비스 경제의 확산과 경쟁심화라는 현 시점에서 서비스품질은 조직의 장기적인 핵심 가치로 판단되는 것이 타당하며, 조직은 서비스품질을 확보하여 재무성과를 향상시켜야 할 것이다. 조직의 성과는 유/무형의 재무적 요소로 표현되나 이러한 재무성과의 성공과 실패는 리더십, 전략, 고객만족, 정보와 지식, 인적자원, 프로세스 등의 유기적인 체계에 의해 좌우된다. 본 연구에서는 한국표준협회 한국서비스대상의 평가지표를 기본 구조로 하여 평가 지표가 실행과제의 내용을 구성할 수 있도록 지표를 세분화 하고 서비스품질의 개선을 통해 경영성과의 증진을 도모하는 일련의 방법론과 프로그램을 개발한다. 연구의 결과는 기업이 전사적 측면에서 서비스품질 활동을 위한 지표개발로부터 실행계획수립까지의 과정에서 필요한 가이드라인 혹은 실질적인 평가 자료로 활용되기를 기대한다.

원자력 발전 과정에서 발생되는 열에너지를 해수 담수화의 공정에 활용하고자 하는 노력이 지속적으로 전개되고 있다. 가까운 미래에 전 세계적으로 물 부족 현상이 심화될 것으로 전망되고 있으며 기존의 지표수 혹은 지하수를 이용한 식수 및 산업 용수의 공급은 멀지 않아 한계에 부딪칠 것으로 예상하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 해수 담수화 기술의 기본적 특성을 살펴보고 열 공급원으로서 고려되고 있는 다양한 담수 기술에 대한 경제성 전망을 중심으로 정리하였다.

The market penetration of the smart phones has brought significant changes to the related industries. As the mobile phone market as well as the smart phone application market are growing rapidly, competition among small-size application developers has become severe. However, due to the severe competition and expensive market entry costs, the developers argue that it is necessary to develope the applications from the perspective of the users. However, studies on application development from the users' perspectives are still in the early stages and they have not provided various approaches. Therefore, based on the Open Coding method of Ground Theory, this study collected data on applications review from related communities and blogs of Korean web portal sites, and identified indices which users consider important when they use the applications. In addition, we conduct a comparative analysis between those indices by calculating their frequency of exposure. As a result, a total of 30 sub-categories of indicators such as amusement, controllability, versatility and ease of use appeared to be predominant to users and those lower categories were grouped into five categories; sensibility, design, technology, price, and social skills. The results of this study suggest to the application developers the guidelines of user oriented design and development. It can be used to develop the evaluation tool for application usability.

로봇의 활동 영역이 사람의 활동 영역과 점점 더 크게 겹쳐지면서 로봇이 사람과 무리없이 공존하는데 필요한 기술에 대한 요구가 심화되고 있다. 행위가독성은 겉으로 드러난 로봇의 행위를 기반으로 얼마나 쉽고 빠르게 로봇의 행위 의도를 판단할 수 있는지를 나타내는 지표로서 로봇과 상호작용하는 사람의 심리적이고 물리적인 부담을 최소화하는데 결정적인 요소로 받아들여지고 있다. 많은 연구를 통해 로봇 행위의 가독성이 높으면 사람이 더 빠르고 명료하게 로봇의 의도를 인지할 수 있고 그 결과 사람의 안전과 심리적 안정이 향상될 뿐 아니라 사람과 로봇 간 협업의 효율도 높아진다는 사실이 밝혀졌다. 이 글에서는 행위가독성의 개념을 소개하고 행위가독성을 향상하는 대표적 연구 사례들을 살펴본다.

하천 이용에 대한 관심이 고조되고 하천개발 관련 계획이 활발하게 진행되어짐에 따라 이용에 대한 요구와 자연환경보전 필요간의 조정이 필요하게 되었다. 이러한 갈등은 특히 도심지역에서 심화되어짐에 따라 도시하천에서의 이용, 보전, 복원, 관리의 효율성 및 하천어메니티 도입을 고려한 도시하천 이용 및 관리 기준으로서 하천유형화 기준을 제시하였고, 특히 이용에 대한 직접적인 요구도를 반영하는 지표로서 이용지수를 개발하였다. 개발된 이용지수는 설문조사를 통한 전문가의견수렴과 AHP분석을 통해 검증하였다.

1980년대 이후 대표적인 대기오염 지표인 아황산가스와 총먼지 오염도는 그동안 정부가 지속적으로 추진해 온 산업과 난방부문의 저황연료 등 청정연료공급 대책에 힘입어 개선되는 추세를 보이고 있다. 그러나 1990년대에 들어서는 자동차 증가와 유기 용재 사용의 급증으로 질소산화물, 휘발성유기화합물질 등의 배출이 증가하고 있으며, 이로 인한 대기오염의 심화 및 스모그와 시정장애 등 새로운 오염이 심각해지고 있고 이에 대한 대책이 시급한 실정이다. (중략)

본 연구는 하천 수질의 종합관리를 위한 sotware 시스템과 hardware 시스템을 개발하는 것이다. Software 시스템은 하천의 오염실태 조사분석 자료를 활용하여 예측모형의 반응식과 제 계수를 도출하고, 수질변동 및 예측모형의 중요지표 수질인자들에 대한 시각적 화면 display 를 위한 그래픽 모듈과 우리나라 오염심화 하천에 알맞는 종합수질 관리용 컴퓨터 프로그램을 개발하므로서 궁극적으로 하천의 한정된 수자원의 최적 활용을 위한 정량적, 정성적 종합수질 관리 시스템을 개발하는 것이다. 또한, Hardware 시스템은 지표 수질인자들을 자동 측정하여 on line, real time 으로 운영 될수 있는 computer supported monitoring network system 과 수질관리를 위한 지역적 수질정보를 위한 network system 을 연구하므로서 control computer system 및 programmable process controllers system 을 구축하고자 한다.

The aim of this study is providing basic data to design successful in-service training program for teacher librarians by analyzing their preference on subjects of customized intensive programs for indicators of teacher expertise development. According to the survey, teacher librarians seem to regard training subjects such as Reading Education and Information Literacy Instruction related educational information services as core jobs and prefer developing instructional contents and materials. Under the levels of school it seems that teacher librarians in the elementary school are interested in programs for library activation, management of volunteers, analyses of users' needs and curricula, evaluations of user instruction and information literacy instruction. Older teacher librarians favor an understanding of metadata, building and supporting information system and instruction. Therefore, training subjects for teacher librarians should be formed by linking strategies between school library instruction and subject curricula. And in terms of the method of training, case studies and practical training might be better than lectures based on the theory.
