Fabrication of Blended PCL/β-TCP Scaffolds by Mixture Ratio of β-TCP using Polymer Deposition System (폴리머 적층 시스템을 이용한 β-TCP 혼합 비율에 따른 PCL/β-TCP 인공지지체의 제작)

  • Abstract Scaffold used as a carrier of the cell has been actively conducted using plenty of technology in tissue engineering. ${\beta}$-tricalcium phosphate (${\beta}$-TCP) material has shown good biocompatibility and osteoconductive ability when it was implanted as a bone graft substitute in osseous defect in human and animal studies for bone regeneration. In this study, we fabricated the blended polycaprolactone (PCL) and ${\beta}$-TCP scaffold by the polymer deposition system (PDS). The PCL/${\beta}$-TCP scaffold was fabricated at a temperature of $110^{\circ}C$, pressure of 650 kPa, and scan velocity of 100 mm/sec. The Overall geometry and size of the scaffold were fixed circle type with a diameter of 10 mm and a height of 4 mm. PCL/${\beta}$-TCP scaffold was observed by scanning electron microscopy. Cell attachment and proliferation of the scaffold containing 30 wt% ${\beta}$-TCP was superior to those containing 10 wt% and 20 wt% ${\beta}$-TCP.

  • 본 논문에서는 최근 급속히 증가하여 사회적 이슈가 되고 있는 SMS 스팸 필터링을 위한 듀얼 SMS 스팸필터링 기법을 제안한다. 지속적으로 증가하고 새롭게 변형되는 SMS 문자 필터링을 위해서는 패턴 및 스팸 단어 사전을 통한 필터링은 많은 수작업을 요구하여 부적합하다. 그리하여 기계 학습을 이용한 자동화 시스템 구축이 요구되고 있으며, 효과적인 기계 학습을 위해서는 자질 선택과 자질의 가중치 책정 방법이 중요하다. 하지만 SMS 문자 특성상 문장들이 짧기 때문에 출현하는 자질의 수가 적어 분류의 어려움을 겪게 된다. 이 같은 문제를 개선하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 슬라이딩 윈도우 기반 N-gram 확장을 통해 자질을 확장하고, 확장된 자질로 그래프를 구축하여 얕은 구조적 특징을 표현한다. 학습 데이터에 출현한 N-gram 자질을 정점(Vertex)으로, 자질의 출현 빈도를 그래프의 간선(Edge)의 가중치로 설정하여 햄(HAM)과 스팸(SPAM) 그래프를 각각 구성한다. 이렇게 구성된 그래프를 바탕으로 노드의 중요도와 간선의 가중치를 활용하여 최종적인 자질의 가중치를 결정한다. 입력 문자가 도착하면 스팸과 햄의 그래프를 각각 이용하여 입력 문자의 2개의 자질 벡터(Vector)를 생성한다. 생성된 자질 벡터를 지지 벡터 기계(Support Vector Machine)를 이용하여 각 SVM 확률 값(Probability Score)을 얻어 스팸 여부를 결정한다. 3가지의 실험환경에서 바이그램 자질과 이진 가중치를 사용한 기본 시스템보다 F1-Score의 약 최대 2.7%, 최소 0.5%까지 향상되었으며, 결과적으로 평균 약 1.35%의 성능 향상을 얻을 수 있었다.

A Syllable Kernel based Sentiment Classification for Movie Reviews (음절 커널 기반 영화평 감성 분류)

  • In this paper, we present an automatic sentiment classification method for on-line movie reviews that do not contain explicit sentiment rating scores. For the sentiment polarity classification, positive or negative, we use a Support Vector Machine classifier based on syllable kernel that is an extended model of string kernel. We give some experimental results which show that proposed syllable kernel model can be effectively used in sentiment classification tasks for on-line movie reviews that usually contain a lot of grammatical errors such as spacing or spelling errors.

Fabrication of 3D Bioceramic Scaffolds using Laser Sintering Deposition System and Design of Experiment (레이저 소결 적층 시스템과 실험 계획법을 이용한 3차원 바이오 세라믹 인공지지체의 제작)

  • In this study, we developed a novel laser sintering deposition system (LSDS) based on solid free-form fabrication (SFF) technology as it has the potential to fabricate complex geometries with controllable architecture for bone tissue engineering applications. The 3D biphasic calcium phosphate (BCP) scaffolds were fabricated with a pore size of 800㎛, a line width and height of 1000㎛, and an overall size of 8.2×8.2×8.0 mm3 according to the design of experiment (DOE) results. Additionally, an optimized manufacturing process using response surface analysis was established to fabricate 3D BCP scaffolds. The fabricated 3D BCP scaffolds were sintered at 950℃, 1050℃, 1150℃, and 1250℃ according to sintering processes with a furnace. As the sintering temperature increased, the porosity increased. Through the compressive strength test, the 3D BCP scaffolds sintered at 1050℃ presented good results of about 0.76 MPa. These results suggest that fabrication methods for 3D bioceramic scaffolds using LSDS may meet the basic requirements for bone tissue engineering.

  • Sentiment classification is a recent subdiscipline of text classification, which is concerned not with the topic but with opinion. In this paper, we present a Korean sentence and document classification system using effective sentiment features. Korean sentiment classification starts from constructing effective sentiment feature sets for positive and negative. The synonym information of a English word thesaurus is used to extract effective sentiment features and then the extracted English sentiment features are translated in Korean features by English-Korean dictionary. A sentence or a document is represented by using the extracted sentiment features and is classified and evaluated by SVM(Support Vector Machine).

  • The characteristics of smart skin for wireless LAN system under compression load are investigated. The smart skin structure is composed of 3 layers of face material and 2 layers of core material. Theoretical formula for determining buckling load is derived by Rayleigh-Ritz method and compared with experimental result. The maximum length of specimen that buckling does not occur is determined by assuming that the compression load is sustained by only face material. In the experiment, if buckling occurs obviously then it follows the theoretical result well. In the process of buckling, the load supporting capability and the antenna property such as radiation pattern and reflection coefficient were examined.

  • For both customers and companies, it is very important to analyze online customer reviews, which consist of small documents that include opinions or experiences about products or services, because the customers can get good informations and the companies can establish good marketing strategies. In this paper, we propose the association model for the opinion mining which can analyze customer opinions posted on web. The association model is to modify the association rules mining model in data mining in order to apply efficiently and effectively the association mining techniques to the opinion mining. We designed and implemented the opinion mining systems based on the modified association model and the grouping idea which would enable it to generate significant rules more.

  • The paper proposed the DRCS(Disease Rule Creation Scheme) which generates the disease rules for efficient disease management in Healthcare system. The DRCS uses basically Rough Set Theory and computes support between each attributes and decision attributes. It creates the disease rules that judges disease after it removes the attribute which is the lowest support. Therefore, it reduces the number of disease rules and improves the exactness, compared with C4.5 algorithm.

  • Probably the most significant heat transfer in the cryogenic liquid hydrogen storage tank from the atmosphere may occur through its support system. In this paper the efficient support system for the cryogenic storage vessel was newly developed and analysed. The support system was composed of a spherical ball as a supporter to reduce the contact area. which is located between two supporting SUS tubes inserted SUS and PTFE blocks. Numerical analyses for temperature distribution, and the thermal stress and strain of the support system were performed by the commercial codes FLUENT and ANSYS. The heat transfer rate of the supporter was evaluated by the thermal boundary potential method which can consider the variation of thermal conductivity with temperature. The results showed that the heat transfer rate through the developed supporter compared with the common SUS tube supporter was significantly reduced. The thermal stress and strain were obtained well below the limited values. It was found that the developed supporter can be one of the most efficient support systems for cryogenic liquid storage vessel.

A Study on Fabrication of 3D Hydroxyapatite Scaffolds Using a Laser Sintering Deposition System (레이저 소결 적층 시스템을 이용한 3차원 수산화인회석 인공지지체 제작에 관한 연구)

  • Calcium-phosphate-based bioceramics are promising biomaterials for scaffolds because they can assist in bone regeneration. In this study, a laser sintering deposition system was developed, and 3D hydroxyapatite (HA) scaffolds were fabricated. The main process conditions of the HA scaffolds were laser power, table velocity, and laser focal distance. As the laser power increased, the line width, line height, and layer thickness also increased. Further, the line width, line height, and layer thickness decreased as the table velocity increased. As the laser focal distance increased, the line width increased, but the line height and layer thickness decreased. The fabricated green scaffolds were sintered at 1050 ℃ and 1150 ℃. The sintered scaffolds had a uniform and continuous interconnected shape, with pore sizes ranging from 850 to 950 ㎛ having 53% porosity. The compressive strength of the scaffolds decreased from 0.72 MPa (1050 ℃) to 0.53 MPa (1150 ℃). The biocompatibility of the scaffolds was investigated by analyzing the adhesion of osteoblast-like MG-63 cells cultured on the surfaces of the scaffolds. The results indicate that the scaffold sintered at 1050 ℃ had good mechanical and biological properties compared to that at 1150 ℃.
