  • The Purpose of this study is to explore if people with intellectual disabilities can play a role as 'meaningful informants' in research process in Korea, by challenging the existing paradigm which consists of suspicion on the communication ability of people with intellectual disabilities and truthlessness of their statements, which results in ignorance on the covered life of people with intellectual disabilities. In this research, lessons which could learn through reinterpretation of my research experience are as follows. Firstly, the deficits of communication ability can be supplemented with restructuring interview instruments such as research questions, visual aids etc and adopting conversation analysis methods. Secondly, Suspicion on the truthlessness of their statements can be restructured by epistemological and methodological reinterpretation on the representation of social reality. Thirdly, the mechanism of exclusion and oppression according to the ignorance can be substituted by 'uncovering the life of people with intellectual disabilities', which can be basis of reconstructing the contents of programmes in the disability service centers and disability policies in the government. With these research results it could be argued that there needs to include people with intellectual disabilities as meaningful informants in the research projects funded by the government and also to provide people with intellectual disabilities with diverse roles in the research process by virtue of the development of qualitative research methods in the near future.

  • This study was conducted to identify how cadastral information quality is managed at which level by reviewing the current cadastral information creation and quality management methods. In addition, relevant issues were deducted and, based on the results, plans for cadastral information quality improvement were suggested. The study results are as follows. As a result of reviewing the cadastral information quality management and its level and deducting the relevant issues, it was found that current cadastral information quality management is confined to positional accuracy, instead of comprehensive quality management embracing graphic and attribute information. In addition, it appeared that the quality measurement elements for spatial information quality management recommended by the International Standard Organization (ISO 19113) are not reflected enough. In this study, a plan of quality management at an international level, plan for introducing a quality test process, and plan for organizing an independent quality test organization were suggested as improvement plans for this corresponding issues.

  • This study aims to show why we have to introduce SOA paradigm in the Cadastral Information System for coping with domestic and foreign IT environments flexibly and strengthening inner capability. We search the trend of up-to-date IT paradigm such as Enterprise GIS, SOA and etc. from this, we worked out the concept of Cadastral Information System. we also could see the introduction case of the domestic and foreign next generation Cadastral Information System, there is implications for us. also, we analysis the general condition about information system which KCSC(Korea Cadastral Survey Corporation) own in a general way and estimate the SOA level degree for each information system. and on that base, we set up SOA loadmap for implementation the next generation of Cadastral Information Service. This is an important step for building ideal future information systems which KCSC hope to be. For realizing this, we focus our inner capability on integration without duplicate and re-using the inner information infra.

  • The subjects of this study were 10th grade students and 10 non-disabled students. For statistical programs, data were processed using SPSS Windows 25.0, and the statistical method used in the study was to calculate the mean and standard deviation of physical fitness factors and body mass index to determine the health and obesity of students with intellectual disabilities and non-disabled students. In addition, this study was conducted using the independent sample t-test to identify the differences in health fitness and obesity between intellectually and non-disabled students. The statistical significance level of the study was set at p <.05, and the results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences in cardiopulmonary endurance, flexibility, muscle strength, muscle endurance, and responsiveness between middle and high school students with intellectual disabilities and non-disabled students. In the case of obesity, intellectually and non-disabled students were significantly different.

  • One of the main objectives of this paper is to identify the mediating effects of both social and intellectual capitals in the relations between entrepreneurship and innovation performance in Small and Medium Businesses. Based on the previous literatures on their relationships, we set our research model and test our hypotheses through a questionnaire survey. The main results of our analyses are as followings: first, entrepreneurship has a significant effect on innovation performance; second, social capital has a significant mediating effect between entrepreneurship and innovation performance; and finally, there exists a significant mediating effect between intellectual capital and entrepreneurship. One of the main policy implications of this study would be that the level of both social and intellectual capitals, coupled with entrepreneurship, should be reinforced in order to improve innovation performance.

  • According to increasing the value of real estate and various land use by urbanization and industrialization, the importance of land use has enhanced regardless of above or below the surface. Therefore the changes into Digital Cadastre using high-technical surveying methods has tried to find a solution in the purpose of providing accurate land information to End-users in real time. However Korean cadastral system was established for a short time through the Land & Forest project and it has been used for cadastral surveying until now. Land devastation by the Korean war and the indiscreet land use by unplanned land development of industrialization has raised failures to construct correct cadastral records. So it has occurred that it becomes one of social problems due to the current unmatched areas between adjacent parcels. Therefore government has tried to make an effort to solve the problems such as reducing unmatched areas and introducing a Case study for Cadastral resurvey. And also it is necessary to adopt a suitable Korean model for Cadastral resurvey. In this study, the current Korean situation of cadastral surveying was investigated and the optimized models for various patterns of Land surveying was offered.

  • In Korea, there has been no national research on the use of antipsychotics for people with intellectual disabilities(I.D); therefore, it is difficult to identify the problems or to find solutions for problems in using antipsychotics. So, the purpose of this study analyze research findings on the use of antipsychotics for people with I.D in Japan. This research method compared and analyzed the results of research published in the journal J-STAGE and Medical Online and studied a cohort results using data. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, many antipsychotic drugs are prescribed to people with I.D, but it is difficult to accurately assess the effectiveness of the treatments. Second, it is not easy to detect side effects. Third, the potential side effects of drug interactions have been raised. The results was emphasized the need of research that accurately evaluate the drugs in survey of actual situation to ensure more safe use of antipsychotics to peoples with I.D in Korea.

  • The primary purpose of this study is to identify spatial distribution patterns of co-authoring activities in Korean cadastral science. The analysis showed that a small number of researchers played an essential role in the Korean cadastral co-authorship network. In particular, some authors not only had a significant influence on other nodes in the network but also served as intermediaries between researchers. Moreover, the distance between researchers influenced co-authorship decisions to a limited extent. This study differs considerably from previous studies in that it used spatial analysis techniques to identify spatial distribution patterns of co-authoring activities. However, this research is limited in that it applied only 2019 data to determine the spatial distribution pattern of co-authoring activities. We can overcome this limitation if we analyze the spatial distribution patterns of co-authoring activities using multi-year data in future studies.

  • In this study, we examined the applicability of UAV LiDAR for cadastral surveying and proposed the results. For this purpose, an experimental area was selected and point cloud data was created by scanning the terrain using UAV LiDAR. Since there is no comparative verification target in the forest area, the coordinates of the verification points were obtained by directly surveying the ridge and valley lines prescribed by the current law. Based on these points, the point cloud density within a 7cm radius was analyzed. As a result, an average of 46 point clouds were generated within a circle with a radius of 7 centimeters, which can build a more precise topography of the forest area, proving that precise cadastral surveying is possible. In the case of UAV LiDAR, it is expected that the boundaries of forest areas can be extracted more accurately and efficiently without the influence of trees compared to the existing cadastral survey method. This is expected to have many advantages in various fields that want to use it in the future, such as the creation of stereoscopic maps of forest areas and terrain modeling for disaster safety in the forest areas.
