  • I produced a secular variation model of geomagnetic field by using the magnetic component data from four geomagnetic observatories located in Northeast Asia during the years between 1997 and 2011. The Earth's magnetic field varies with time and location due to the dynamics of fluid outer core and the magnetic observatories on the surface measure in time series. To adequately represent the magnetic field or secular variations of the Earth, a spatio-temporal model is required. In making a global model, satellite observations as well as limited observatory data are necessary to cover the regions and time intervals. However, you need a considerable work and time to process a huge amount of the dataset with complicated signal separation procedures. When you update the model, the same amount of chores is demanded. Besides, the global model might be affected by the measurement errors of each observatory that are biased and the processing errors in satellite data so that the accuracy of the model would be degraded. In this study, as considered these problems, I introduced a localized method in modeling secular variation of the Earth's magnetic field over Northeast Asia region. Secular variation data from three Japanese observatories and one Chinese observatory that are all in the INTERMAGNET are implemented in the model valid between 1997 to 2011 with the interval of 6 months. With the resulting model, I compared with the global model called CHAOS-4, which includes the main, secular variation and secular acceleration models between 1997 to 2013 by using the three satellites' databases and INTERMAGNET observatory data. Also, the geomagnetic 'jerk' which is known as a sudden change in the time derivatives of the main field of the Earth, was discussed from the localized secular acceleration coefficients derived from spline models.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine facebook users' self-presentation on facebook in terms of narcissism and the relationship of narcissistic self-presentation and variables of self-esteem, using patterns, and information types. The results showed that facebook users' self-presentation were not likely to be narcissistic. In self-presenting on facebook users were likely to be exhibition but they are not likely to be ingratiating and competent. And this study failed to support the association of narcissistic self-presentation and self-esteem. But results suggested that facebook using patterns including frequency and period of use affected narcissistic self-presentation. Finally, profile information, but not posting information was correlated with narcissistic self-presentation.

  • Self Organizing Maps(SOM) by Kohonen is very fast algorithm in neural networks. But it doesn't show sure rules of training results. In this paper, we introduce to Bayesian Learning for Self Organizing Maps(BLSOM) which combines self organizing maps with Bayesian learning. So it supports explanatory power of models and improves prediction. BLSOM has global optima anywhere but SOM has not. This is proved by experiment in this paper.

  • National Oceanographic Research Institute is carrying out an oceanographic survey for the entire sea areas around Korean Peninsula annually starting with the East Sea from 1996 by establishing a national oceanographic basic map survey plan for the sea areas under the jurisdiction of Korea, so this paper used the oceanographic geomagnetism data measured at the southern area of the Yellow Sea using 'Hae Yang 2000' in 1999, aiming at clarifying the cause of geomagnetic abnormality zone during the course of treating and analyzing the geomagnetic data. For treatment of magnetic data, we obtained electromagnetic force values and geomagnetic abnormality values around the investigated sea area through a process of searching and removal of bad data, correction of sensor positions, correction of magnetic field effects around the hull, correction of diurnal variation, normal correction, correction of cross point errors, etc. The electromagnetic force distribution around the investigated sea area was $49000\;{\sim}\;51600\;nT$, which is judged to be within the normal electromagnetic force intensity distribution range around the Yellow Sea. The isodynamic lines are distributed in Northeast-Southwest direction, and electromagnetic force values are increasing toward the northwest. The result of comparing the magnetic abnormality around the sea area among $124^{\circ}$ 49' 48" E, $35^{\circ}$ 10' 48" N $\sim$ $125^{\circ}$ 7' 48" E, and $35^{\circ}$ 33' 00" N sections with the elastic wave cross section and the result of modeling coincide well with the underground geological structure clarified from the existing elastic wave survey cross section. Therefore, it is judged that the distribution of magnetic force abnormality generally shows the effect pursuant to the distribution of the sedimentary basins in the Tertiary period and the bedrocks in the Cretaceous period which are well developed in the bottom of the sea.

  • This study is to explore the relationship among self assertiveness, self efficacy, school adaptation and related factors. Data collection from July 11, 2015 July 20 were enrolled in two elementary school. The questionnaire was filled out by 905 elementary students from 3rd to 6th grade in cities of Busan and Ulsan. Self assertiveness for the elementary students was positively correlated with self efficacy and school adaptation. Also, self efficacy was positively correlated with school adaptation of elementary student. Among the general characteristics, factors affecting school adaptation were student-teacher's relationship, school grade, gender, friendship, confidence, self-control, preferred task difficulty, body language and contents of expression significantly accounted for 57.5%. The most significant factor influencing school adaptation was confidence.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the structural relationships among self-leadership, self-management, and self-confidence of golf players. In order to accomplish the purpose of this study, 447 of them were sampled through the convenience sampling. The instruments for data collection were Self-Leadership Questionnaire, Self-Management Scale1, and Sport Confidence Questionnaire. Collected data were put to exploratory factor analysis and correlation analysis, using the SPSS 18.0 program and to confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation model(SEM), using the AMOS 18.0 program. The results were as follows : First, self-leadership had positive effects on self-management, Second self-leadership had positive effects on sport confidence, Third, self-management had positive effects on sport confidence, Forth, the unstandardized path coefficient among self-leadership, self-management and sport confidence in the men was no different from that in the women.

  • This study was to examine the effectiveness of neurofeedback training by observing the pre and post brainwave measurement results of about 52 (experimental group 26. comparative group 26) subjects who have shown self regulation ability. The study took place at neuro-training center B, in between the months of Jan. 2008 and Dec. 2008. As the brainwaves are adjusted by timeseries linear analysis, the tool used to measure the self regulation ability was 5 Likert Scale questionnaire. The result confirmed the differences of both self regulation quotient, training protocol, upper deviation and questionnaire. The result of the study suggest prefrontal lobe neurofeedback technique's possibility in positively affecting the subjects' self regulation ability. This result suggested that follow-up researches should be figuring out more detailed explanations for journal of adolescent welfare.
