시맨틱 웹 응용의 구현에 있어 가장 중요한 기술이 시맨틱 웹의 특징을 만족하는 웹 온톨로지의 구축임에도 불구하고, 대부분 웹 온톨로지의 구축에 적용된 기법들이 시맨틱 웹과 웹 온톨로지의 특징을 만족하지 못함에 따라 시맨틱 웹 응용의 발전과 보급이 미흡하다. 따라서 본 연구는 온톨로지와 웹 온톨로지 관련 연구들을 분석하여 시맨틱 웹을 위한 웹 온톨로지의 특징들을 파악하고, 기존 온톨로지 구축과 웹 온톨로지 구축을 위해 제안된 구축 기법들을 비교 분석하여 시맨틱 웹과 웹 온톨로지의 특징에 적합한 웹 온톨로지 구축 기법을 제안하였다.

As applications of GIS technology have grown in local governments, the wider and integrated use of spatial information is demanded more than before. Particularly because 70-80% of administrative information in local governments are related spatial, it becomes a key issue to connect and integrate non-spatial information with spatial information for more advanced use of GIS applications in local governments. The purpose of this study is to establish an advanced Implementation model by analyzing obstacles in existing GIS applications and suggesting implementation strategies. The strategy, as an important part of the model, includes efficient information sharing, establishment of commonly usable GIS Database, architectural improvement for Enterprise GIS in terms of database and system implementation, standardization far the model, and establishment of spatial infrastructure in the local governments. The study concludes that administrative collaboration in a horizontal and vertical perspective has a highest priority for the implementation of the model.

In order to improve the economics and flexibility of cloud computing, tendency to automate the operation and management of cloud resources has become complicated. However, while automation for cloud storage depends on the manufacturer's storage hardware, it cannot flexibly support the storage type in accordance with users' needs. In this paper, we propose an automatic configuration module that supports block/file/object storages suitable for user environment. In order to automatically install ceph, a cloud storage, we propose an automatic installation and configuration module based on the Chef configuration management tool. In addition to that, we also propose an automatic configuration module based on a shell programming in pursuit of enabling users to use ceph storage of block/file/object. The proposed method can automatically set up and manage shared file, block, and object storages in a virtual or physical user environment with no hardware dependencies.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how one can find all journals of a country covered in a database such as SCI. We searched SCI and JCR Science Edition 2006 databases for Korean journals using four definition criteria-Country of a journal publication, Editorship, Unique words appeared in a journal title designating a country, a number of papers from a country in a journal. We also checked related literatures and websites to find information on SCI Korean journals. The study shows that 40 Korean journals were covered in SCI in 2006. SCI identified 38 of them as journals from South Korea, and JCR 2006 included 36. 11 journals had unique words indicating that they are Korean journals. 9 journals were Korean journals among the top 20 SCT journals by the number of papers with Korean addresses, and 36 journals were included among the top 500 SCI journals.

막대한 예산을 투입하여 추진하고 있는 지자체 GIS사업은 기술의 발전에 비해 제도, 교육, 사용자의 마인드, 유지관리 활동, 향후 사업 구상 등에서 상대적인 빈곤을 경험하고 있는 것이 사실이다. 이렇듯 신기술이 도입됨에 따라 다양한 제반 여건들이 동반적으로 성숙하지 못함으로 인해 발생하는 현상을 과도기적 현상1)으로 진단하고 있다. 이미 다양한 분야에서 GIS를 도입한 지자체에서는 이러한 과도기적 현상을 극복하기 위해 상당한 어려움을 겪고 있으며, 새롭게 GIS를 도입하고자 하는 지자체에서도 타 지자체에서 모니터링을 통해 간접적으로 과도기적 현상을 경험함으로 인해 효과적인 사업 추진을 구상하는데 상당한 어려움을 겪고 있는 것이 현실이다. 또한 지자체의 경우 중앙정부에서 추진하고 있는 다양한 사업에 영향을 받을 수밖에 없고, 현재의 GIS 사업의 추세가 단순한 공간정보 중심의 사업이 아닌 다양한 속성정보와의 연계를 모색하고 있다는 점에서 지자체 GIS정보화의 방향은 예전과는 사뭇 다른 양상을 간파해 야 하는 현실에 놓여 있다. 이와 같은 지자체 GIS의 과도기적 현상을 극복하기 위해서는 정보기술의 빠른 변화속도와 외부환경의 극심한 환경변화의 상황에서 ‘보이는 것과 보이지 않는 것’의 관계를 진단하고, 변화에 대한 예측과 대비, 중요한 일과 급한 일을 구분한 총체적인 밑그림의 마련과 실행계획의 수립이 우선시 되어야 한다. 지자체 GIS의 문제 해결의 노력이 단숨에 바로 해결되는 것이 아니고, 또한 현재 추진된 사업을 기반으로 중복투자의 방지와 시너지 효과 극대화를 위한 투자의 노력이 장기간의 시간적 개념속에서 진행되어야 한다는 점에서 이를 이끌어줄 가이드가 필요한 것이다. 이러한 총체적인 지자체 GIS의 계획마련을 위해 건설교통부에서는 ‘국가지리정보구축 및 활용등에 관한 법률’상에 계획 수립의 항목을 명문화하고, 나아가 GIS정보화 전략계획 수립에 관한 지침작성을 위한 노력을 진행 중에 있다. 이러한 일련의 현실을 감안하여 지자체 GIS정보화 전략계획 수립을 체계적이고 실질적으로 수립할 수 있는 ‘지자체 GIS정보화 전략계획 수립모델’은 반드시 선행되어야 할 사항임에 분명하다. 지자체 GIS정보화 전략계획 수립 모델은 지자체 GIS정보화 전략계획 수립의 효과로 하고 있으며, 형식적 측면에서는 GIS특성을 반영한 전략계획 수립의 방법론적 측면을 중심으로 구성된다. 이러한 과정을 거처 실제 지자체 GIS정보화 전략계획을 수립하는데 필요한 9단계를 설정하고 각각의 단계에 대한 중심활동을 바탕으로 지자체에서 실제 전략계획 수립에 필요한 지침을 작성하는 것으로 구성되어 있다.
