Directional realization of in the ear hearing aid using digital filters (디지털 필터를 사용한 귓속형 보청기의 지향성 실현)

  • In this paper, the realization of a directional digital hearing aid was considered. Conventional time domain time delay method was replaced with digital filters in order to make any general-purposed DSP (Digital Signal Processing) chip to produce the similar directivity pattern. Both the time delay algorithm and the digital filter algorithm were initially evaluated by Matlab (Matrix laboratory) for comparison, and it was confirmed by CSR 8675 Bluetooth DSP IC (Digital Signal Processing Integrated Circuit) chip firmware realization. Some remote control features by a smart phone was added to the smart hearing aid for user interface easiness.

  • Pressure control of hydraulic pump using SRM with pressure predictor and direct torque control method is presented in this paper. Nowadays, high efficiency and high performance motor drive is much interested in hydraulic pump system. But the hydraulic pump system has an inherent defect that its dynamic behavior causes by interaction between the sensor and hydraulic load. It will make low performance of whole system, even unstable and oscillatory. Proposed system integrates pressure predictor and direct instantaneous torque control (DITC). The pressure predictor includes Smith predictor, which is easy to improve unstable or long oscillation in traditional negative feedback control and popular PID control architectures. And DITC method can reduce inherent torque ripple of SRM, and develop smooth torque to load, which can increase stability and improve the torque response of SR drive. So high dynamic performance and stabilization can achieved proposed hydraulic system. At last, the proposed hydraulic system is verified by simulation and experimental results.

  • In this paper, for continuous media access operations performed by Clustered Continuous Media Storage Server (CCMSS) system, we present the analytical model based on the open queueing network, which considers simultaneously two critical delay factors, the disk I/O and the internal network, in the CCMSS system. And we derive by using the analytical model the stochastic model for the total service delay time in the system. Next, we propose the integrated stochastic admission control model for the CCMSS system, which estimate the maximum number of admittable service requests at the allowable service failure rate by using the derived stochastic model and apply the derived number of requests in the admission control operation. For the performance evaluation of the proposed model, we evaluated the deadline miss rates by means of the previous stochastic model considering only the disk I/O and the propose stochastic model considering the disk I/O and the internal network, and compared the values with the results obtained from the simulation under the real cluster-based distributed media server environment. The evaluation showed that the proposed admission control policy reflects more precisely the delay factors in the CCMSS system.

  • This paper proposes a method to reduce the delay time caused by control message conflicts in VADAMA (Virtual Allocation Demand Assigned Multiple Access) technology, which is a virtual allocation based on-demand multiple access technology in MF-TDMA (Multi-Frequency Time Division Multiple Access) satellite network. Traditionally, satellite networks have had the problem that all network transmissions have long delay times due to control messages. In this study, in order to improve the delay time caused by terminal control message conflicts in VADAMA technology, the concept of virtual allocation is used to reduce the delay time. VADAMA-PTR (VADAMA Periodic Transmission) divides all terminals into subnets and transmits control. The method is proposed, and the performance analysis of the existing DAMA technology, delay time and data processing rate is performed using Matlab. The results show that the performance is improved.

  • 본 논문은 확률특성을 갖는 네트워크 기반 제어시스템(NCS; Networked Control Systems)을 위하여 동적 베이시안 네트워크(DBN; Dynamic Bayesian Networks)와 신경회로망 기법을 이용한 지능제어기법을 제안한다. 신경회로망은 시변 시간지연을 갖는 비선형 시스템의 실시간 오차를 보상하기 위한 제어기의 최적화에 적용된다. 모듈화 신경회로망이 구성되며 이것은 제어기의 파라미터를 출력한다 가장 간단한 DBN 구조인 마코브 체인(MC; Markov Chain)이 구성되며 NCS의 랜덤 관측값을 모델링에 적용되며 예측 제어기의 구성에 또한 사용된다. 제안한 제어기법은 위성시스템의 자세제어에 적용하여 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 성능을 검증하였다.

  • This paper deals with a study for the guidance control of reusable launch vehicle. For this purpose, modeling of the equation of motion of a reusable launch vehicle with 6 degrees of freedom was performed. With this model, an optimal re-entry path was created and a path-following guidance control simulation was performed to follow the optimal re-entry path. For the design of the path-following guidance controller, the attitude controller applying a time-delay technique that is resistant to modeling uncertainty, disturbance and failure. And the nonlinear path-following guidance law were used. Guidance control simulation using a classical PD controller was performed and compared with the guidance control simulation of a reusable launch vehicle applying a time delay technique.

  • This paper concerns delay-range-dependent robust stability and stabilization for time-delay nonliner system via T-S fuzzy model approach. The time delay is assumed to be a time-varying continuous function belonging to a given range. On the basis of a novel Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, which includes the information of the range, delay-range-dependent stability criteria are established in terms of linear matrix inequality. It is shown that the new criteria can provide less conservative results than some existing ones. Moreover, the stability criteria are also used to design the stabilizing state-feedback controllers. Numerical examples are given to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed approach.

  • 제어대상 시스템에 시간지연과 외란이 동시에 존재하는 경우, 스미스 예측기와 외란 관측기를 함께 사용하면 시간지연과 외란으로 인한 시스템의 성능저하를 완화할 수 있다. 하지만 시간지연이 유동적인 경우에는 설계된 스미스 예측기와 외란 관측기의 역할을 기대하기 어렵다. 본 논문은 시간지연을 갖는 2차 시스템 모델링 기법에 기반한 PID 제어기를 이용하여 시간 지연의 유동성에 대해 스미스 예측기와 외란 관측기의 강인성을 향상시키는 방법을 제안한다.

  • 실시간 제어시스템은 데드라인(deadline)이라는 시간 제약성을 가지며. 데드라인 이내의 작업수행 여부에 따라서 시스템의 안정성 및 신뢰성 보장을 평가할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 실시간 시스템 제어기의 시간 지연에 의한 시스템의 영향과 이에 따른 시간 제약성에 대한 연구가 수행된다. 정상상태의 제어기의 시간 지연은 그 효과가 미약하여 일반적으로 고려하지 않는다. 그러나, 시스템의 고장상태 즉, 비정상적인 상태의 시간지연은 비록 랜덤하게 발생되나 발생시에는 전체시스템에 미치는 영향이 매우 크므로 이를 반드시 고려하고, 이에 대한 분석이 필요하다. 먼저, 단일작업을 수행하는 선형시불변 및 비선형시스템에 대한 데드라인 유도하고, Path-space approach 기법에 의해 신뢰도 상위 및 하위 경계값을 유도한다.

A Study on the Start-Up Scheme of Direct Vector Controlled Induction Motor (유도전동기의 직접 벡터제어 시스템에서 기동기법에 관한 연구)

  • 본 논문은 유도전동기의 직접벡터제어 시스템에서 전동기가 기동 시 토크 충격없이 부드럽게 기동할 수 있는 기동기법을 제시한다. 직접 벡터제어에서 고정자 자속을 계산 시 사용되는 적분기 문제를 해결하기 위하여, 인버터주파수에 따라 시정수를 제어하는 프로그램어블 3-단계 저역필터를 적용한다. 이 3-단계 저역필터는 거의 완벽한 적분기능을 수행 할 수 있으나, 이 저역필터는 고정자 자속의 시간지연을 유발하므로 기동 시 전동기 토크의 충격을 발생된다는 문제점이 있다. 따라서, 기동시 고동자 자속의 시간지연을 보상하는 고장자 자속의 피이드포워드 기법을 제시하여, 전동기 기동 시 토크 충격을 방지한다. 시뮬레이션을 통하여, 이 기동기법의 타당성을 확인한다.
