A Study for Drone to Keep a Formation and Prevent Collisions in Case of Formation Flying (드론의 삼각 편대비행에서 포메이션 유지 및 충돌 방지 제어를 위한 연구)

  • In this paper, we suggest an advance method for maintaining a perceived behavior as triangle formation and preventing collision between each other in case of a flying drone. In the existing studies, the collision of the drone is only controlled by using light entered in the camera or the image processing. However, when there is no light, it is difficult to confirm the position of each other and they can collide because this system can not confirm the each other's position. Therefore, in this paper, we propose the system to solve the problems by using the distance and the relative coordinates of the three drones that were determined using the ALPS(Ad hoc network Localized Positioning System) algorithm. This system can be a new algorithm that will prevent collisions between each other during flying the drone object. The proposed algorithm is that we make drones maintaining a determined constant value of the distance between coordinates of each drone and the measured center of the drone of triangle formation. Therefore, if the form of fixed formation is disturbed, they reset the position of the drone so as to keep the distance between each drone and the center coordinates constant. As a result of the simulation, if we use the system where the supposed algorithm is applied, we can expect that it is possible to prevent malfunction or an accident due to collisions by preventing collisions of drones in advanced behavior system.

Analyzing the Credibility of the Location Information Provided by Twitter Users (트위터 사용자가 제공한 위치정보의 신뢰성 분석)

  • We have observed huge success in social network services like Facebook and Twitter, and many researchers have done their analysis on these services. As massive data observed by users is produced on Twitter, many researchers have been conducting research to detect an event on Twitter. Some of them developed a system to detect the earthquakes or to find the local festivals. However, they did not consider the credibility of location information on Twitter although their systems were using the location information. In this paper, we analyze the credibility of the profile location and the correlation between the spatial attributes on Twitter as the preliminary research of the event detection system on Twitter. We analyzed 0.5 million Twitter users in Korea and 2.8 million users around the world. 49.73% of the users in Korea and 90.64% of the users in the world posted tweets in their profile locations. This paper will be helpful to understand the credibility of the spatial attributes on Twitter when the researchers develop an application using them.

  • 최근 기후변화에 따른 국내 기상특성이 변화함에 따라 가뭄, 하천건천화, 홍수 등 물 관련 재해 발생 빈도 및 규모가 점점 커지고 있으며, 세계적으로 홍수 발생 빈도뿐만 아니라 태풍 및 가뭄 발생 빈도도 꾸준히 증가하고 있어 광범위한 관측과 정확한 예측 및 즉각적 대처능력 확보를 위한 수재해 관리가 필요한 실정이다. 아울러 급격한 도시화에 따라 내수범람이 빈번하게 발생하기 때문에 재난발생 시 그 피해가 극대화로 직결되고 있어 도시에서 발생할 수 있는 내수범람을 정확하게 예 경보하기 위한 고해상도 실시간 강수관측이 필요하다. 또한, 유역차원의 홍수범람이 빈번하게 발생하고 있으며, 홍수기 홍수통제소의 댐수문 관리에 어려움이 따라 기상관련 재난이 발생할 수 있어, 유역 차원의 정확한 홍수량 예측과 예 경보 시스템 구축을 위해서는 고해상도의 실시간 강수관측을 통한 강수예측 기술이 중요하다. 이를 위해 위성, 레이더, AWS 등 각종 광역 관측 장비로부터 표출되는 데이터를 통합하고, 이를 종합적으로 분석하여 수리수문인자 및 기상인자로 전환할 수 있는 시스템을 개발 할 경우 가뭄, 하천 건천화, 홍수 등을 실시간으로 감시하고 평가 예측 할 수 있는 정보 생산이 가능할 것으로 판단된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 수재해 정보 플랫폼 서비스를 위하여 전체적인 시스템을 개발하기에 앞서 가능성을 타진하고 검증할 필요가 있는 주요 구간을 시험하는 개발 기법인 프로토타입을 우선적으로 개발한다. 주요 항목으로는 (1) 지속 산출 격자 자료에 대한 OGC WxS 또는 LOD 서비스 자동 연계, (2) 격자 자료 ?춤형 제공(해상도, 좌표계 등), (3) 기초, 분석 정보 제공 시스템 등을 프로토타입 대상으로 설정하고 웹 기반 수재해 정보 플랫폼 인터페이스를 구현한다. 개발된 플랫폼은 수재해 예측정보의 정확도를 향상시키고 국지적 침수재해 평가 예측 및 지역 맞춤형 재해평가 체계를 실현함으로써 국가 물 관련 재해를 혁신할 수 있는 기술을 확보하는 소중한 토대가 될 것으로 사료된다.

  • More than 70% of Korean Peninsula is consisted of mountains, so that lots of roads, rail-roads and tunnel,which play a pivotal role in the industry activity, are existed along the rock-slope and in the rock-mass. Thus,it is urgent that tegration of management system through the optimum survey and design of rock-slope excavation, proper stabilization method and database of rock-slope. However, conventional methods have shortcoming with the economy of survey time and human resources, and the overcome of difficulties of approach to the in-situ rock-slope. To overcome the limitation of conventional method, this paper proposed the development of remote measurement system using Terrestrial Laser Scanning System. The method using Terrestrial 3D Laser Scanning System, which can get 3D spatial information on the rock-slope and2)Dept. Geosystem Engineering, Kangwon National University, Korea tunnel, has an advantage of reduction of measurement time and the overcome of difficulties of approach to the in-situ rock-slope/dam/tunnel. In the case of rock-slope, through the analysis of 3D modeling of point-cloud by Terrestrial Laser Scanning System, orientation of discontinuity, roughness of joint surface, failure shape and volume were successively achieved. in the case of tunnel face, through reverse-engineering, monitoring of displacement was possible.

A Technic to Improve and Implement Virtual Environment Grid Information in War-game Model (워게임모델의 가상환경격자정보 개선과 구축 기법)

  • We studied on a technic to improve and implement the virtual environment grid information in the war-game model. The virtual environment data are categorized into ground, sea, and air, and separatedly managed and operated. The data are implemented and managed in the geographical information and topography type information. The geographical information, including grid location coordinate and sea level, are managed in computer files as a grid type. We improved the representation of the sea level by mapping the sea level value of the grid information file into GCV and suggested the dynamic virtual environment implementation technic for the region with the large range of tide. In the experiments, we could know that it is possible to adopt the dynamic virtual environment to the war-game model.

  • The accuracy of RTK GPS is limited by the distance dependent errors from orbit, ionosphere and troposphere, as the distance between the rover and the base station increases in the Real Time Kinematic surveying. To solve this problem, VRS system has installed. This study would estimated the accuracy of cadastral detail surveying, which is used on the VRS RTK instead of Total Station and RTK GPS demand for various equipments and time. As a result of study, the positioning accuracy of the VRS RTK and RTK GPS surveying make no greate difference, as RMSE of VRS RTK surveying is 0.144m and that of RTK GPS surveying is 0.146m and the new method would be more efficient.

  • This paper was suggested the detailed methods on the integration of Remote Sensing and GIS for various application of two functions at the one system with making the most use of respective merits rather than make use of independent systems. It developed of algorithm about simultaneous overlay of raster and vector data for remote sensing and GIS for these objects. For test application on integration of remote sensing and GIS, it used of remote sensing data of satellite and used to topographic map of the same area for vector data acquisition of GIS application. For the practical application, it proved of effective value of integration of raster and vector data by present of useful technique with multilateral approach method through data conversion about thematic application for major application fields of remote sensing and GIS and it suggested that new application technique for integrated application of remote sensing GIS through synthetic situation analysis.

  • 최근 스마트폰의 보급으로 소셜 네트워크 서비스를 이용하는 사용자들이 급증하였다. 그 중 트위터는 정보의 빠른 전파력과 확산성으로 인해 현실에서 발생한 이벤트를 탐지하는 도구로 활용하는 것이 가능하다. 따라서 트위터 사용자 개개인을 하나의 센서로 가정하고 그들이 작성한 트윗 텍스트를 분석한다면 이벤트 탐지의 도구로써 활용할 수 있다. 이와 관련된 연구들은 이벤트 발생 위치를 추적하기 위해 GPS좌표를 이용하지만 트위터 사용자들이 위치정보 공개에 회의적인 점을 감안하면 명확한 한계점으로 제시될 수 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 트위터에서 제공하는 위치정보를 이용하지 않고, 트윗 텍스트에서 위치정보를 추적하는 방법을 제시하였다. 트윗 텍스트에서 키워드간의 관계를 고려하여 이벤트의 사실여부를 결정하였으며, 실험을 통해 기존 매체들보다 빠른 탐지를 보임으로써 제안된 시스템의 필요성을 보였다.

Generation of Time-Series Data for Multisource Satellite Imagery through Automated Satellite Image Collection (자동 위성영상 수집을 통한 다종 위성영상의 시계열 데이터 생성)

  • Time-series data generated from satellite data are crucial resources for change detection and monitoring across various fields. Existing research in time-series data generation primarily relies on single-image analysis to maintain data uniformity, with ongoing efforts to enhance spatial and temporal resolutions by utilizing diverse image sources. Despite the emphasized significance of time-series data, there is a notable absence of automated data collection and preprocessing for research purposes. In this paper, to address this limitation, we propose a system that automates the collection of satellite information in user-specified areas to generate time-series data. This research aims to collect data from various satellite sources in a specific region and convert them into time-series data, developing an automatic satellite image collection system for this purpose. By utilizing this system, users can collect and extract data for their specific regions of interest, making the data immediately usable. Experimental results have shown the feasibility of automatically acquiring freely available Landsat and Sentinel images from the web and incorporating manually inputted high-resolution satellite images. Comparisons between automatically collected and edited images based on high-resolution satellite data demonstrated minimal discrepancies, with no significant errors in the generated output.

Accuracy Analysis of Kinematic SBAS Surveying (SBAS 이동측위 정확도 분석)

  • Space-Based Augmentation System (SBAS), which is one of the GPS augmentation systems, is a Wide-Area Differential GPS that provides differential GPS corrections and integrity data. In this study, we did performance analysis of kinematic SBAS surveying by conducting Real-Time Kinematic (RTK), DGPS, standalone, and SBAS surveys. Considering static survey results as truth, 2-D Root Mean Square (RMS) error and 3-D RMS error were computed to evaluate the positioning accuracy of each survey method. As a result, the 3-D positioning error of RTK was 13.1cm, DGPS 126.0cm, standalone (L1/L2) 135.7cm, standalone (C/A) 428.9cm, and SBAS 109.2cm. The results showed that the positioning accuracy of SBAS was comparable to that of DGPS.
