An university form alliance with the organic relationships the community as a delivery room of human cultural in it's formation and development. The university library is to service knowledge and information resources of it to residents, and education R&D learning of a university constituent. This study research and analyse to the service status of the university library in home abroad and consider necessity and importance of the community solidarity of it. Also it brings up the plans to revigority the community solidarity and services of university libraries in the side of lifelong study, R&D support, knowledge and information service, the community contribution and so on.

본 연구는 여러 사회복지조직들이 연대성을 가지고 지역사회 차원의 사업을 구현해 낼 때 활동의 정체성과 방향을 설정하기 위하여 참여주체들이 기대하고 있는 성과를 어떻게 인식하고 있는지를 알아보기 위해 컨셉트 맵핑 활용에 대한 문헌고찰을 시도한다. 컨셉트 맵핑은 복잡하고 추상적인 아이디어를 개념화하는 의사결정방법이다. 이 방법을 활용하면 참여한 조직들의 개별적인 이해와 목적을 체계화시켜 합의된 성과를 도출해 내는데 유용할 수 있다. 컨셉트 맵핑을 활용한 의사결정과정에서 참여자들의 의견이 소외되지 않고 모두 채택되도록 하는 시스템 운용이 가능하며, 그로 인해 다양한 조직의 참여를 극대화 할 수 있다. 궁극적으로 사회복지조직의 성과에 대한 합의도출이 신속히 이루어지고 이후 활동에 대한 방향성도 명확하게 설정될 수 있는 것이다.

자원봉사활동은 지역사회 공동체와 연대의식 강화 등 지역사회를 지탱해 주는 주요한 토대로서 지방정부의 입장에서는 지역주민의 직 간접자원을 활용할 수 있는 계기되고 개인적 입장에서는 지역사회에 기여를 통한 만족감 제고라는 상호이익이 보장되는 중요한 활동이다. 따라서 자원봉사활성화를 위해 과감한 재정 및 제도적 뒷받침을 마련해 주는 동시에 민간중심의 활동이 될 수 있도록 자율성과 창의성을 최대한 보장해 주어야 한다.

Intergenerational relations in Korea show very unique characteristics. In political arena, young and old generations clash each other intensely, while they maintain a high level of intergenerational solidarity in policy realm. A logistic regression analysis reveals that generational cleavage plays a key role in affecting voting decision and evaluation of governmental performance. It also suggests that in policy realm, normative, functional, and affectional types of solidarity influence people's attitudes on social policies very strongly. If the current government continues to neglect its promises for expanding welfare, the dual structure of generational cleavage in political arena and intergenerational solidarity in social policy realm can soon be turned into a conflictual structure. Therefore, an active initiative to increase intergenerational justice should be taken in order to attain a long-term, sustainable intergenerational solidarity and coexistence.

지난해 개봉한 '바람계곡의 나우시카'. 94년도 일본에서 선보이며 일본 열도를 강타한 작품으로 우리나라에도 많은 매니아를 확보해 놓은 일본 애니메이션의 가장 '미야자키 히야오'의 작품으로 '월령공주'와 함께 이미 많은 팬들이 불법(?) 비디오를 통해 한번쯤은 본 만화영화다. '나우시카'나 '월령공주'를 통해 미야자키감독은 인간과 자연과의 관계가 어떠해야 하는지를 자신의 목소리로 풀어나가고 있다. 인간이 자연을 공격하면 자연 역시 인간을 공격해 결국 인간이 살아갈 수 없다는 것을 보여주고 있다. 만화영화 속의 월령공주가 지켜나가고자 하는 지구의 자연, 이제는 우리 모두가 '월령공주'가 되어야만 하는 절박한 상황임을 인지하여 우리 주변의 환경에 대해 다시 한번 고민해 보아야 할 시기이다. 환경운동의 중요성이 더욱 더 절실한 지금 지역사회를 통해 환경운동을 전개하고 있는 단체가 있다. 지역사회에서 환경문제를 고민하고 해결해 나가는 사람들 '가톨릭 환경연대(대표 정안화 신부)'를 만나본다.

The purpose of this study is to make an inspection of the School Library Opening Policy. Some problems show the policy is not only ineffective but also disadvantage to the development of school libraries. 지난 8월 멕시코시티에서는 제 17차 국제에이즈회의가 개최되었다. 라틴아메리카 지역에서 최초로 열린 이번 행사에는 전 세계에서 약 25,000여 명의 에이즈 관련 학자, 단체, 기업, 감염인들이 참가하여 역대 최다를 기록을 수립했다. 본 행사는 멕시코 정부, 국제에이즈협회(IAS), UNAIDS, WHO와 같은 국제 기구 및 전 세계 감염인 연대, 지역사회 관계자, 종교관계자들이 합동으로 주관하여 개최한 행사로 에이즈와 관련한 생의학, 사회과학, 보건학, 인권 등의 각 분야별로 열띤 학술발표와 토론 경험의 교류가 이루어졌다.

Community recently pays attention to participation, network, and partnership of local residents and community stakeholders for the purpose of solving community problems and issues. This is the typical characteristics of local governance as an institutional setting to solve the problems which communities face with. The aim of this study is to attempt an analysis of local governance from the perspective of community welfare. To do that, it especially focuses on 'Gwangju Greenway' as a case. Participation of and communications among local residents strengthen their community's capabilities to deal with problems and seek better solutions. Above all, networking and cooperation between local government and local residents are required to improve the quality of local residents' participation at the process of planning and policy-making in the area of community welfare. 'Gwangju Greenway' is a good example of community welfare in that local residents actively seek to solve their own problems and realize common good within their local community through the improvement of social interaction and solidarity among local residents, thus resulting in good quality of life.
