Autonomous knowledge service, a fully-automated and pervasive service for knowledge acquisition and support based on the power of recent ITs is gaining tremendous interest more and more, as not only the level of users' intelligence increases but also the maturity of IT infrastructure improves. Conventional approaches of knowledge service, however, could not satisfy users because they usually provided undesired knowledge which had been acquired without considering users' want. In other words, knowledge acquisition and distribution were separately performed. This research, therefore, suggests an amended autonomous knowledge service framework by fully-automating the whole phases of knowledge life cycle, from knowledge acquisition to distribution. ASKs, the prototype system of this research, is also implemented by defining and specifying component technologies which constituently compose suggested framework. More user-friendly and applicable way of knowledge service will be derived and facilitated through this research.

The purpose of this study is to review the relationship between knowledge management and innovation, and the moderating effect of Convergence Federation in Small & Medium Business. In order to verify and achieve the purposes mentioned above, questionnaire data are gathered and analysed from 481 establishments located in Kangwon-do, Chungpuk-do, Kyunggi-do, Kyungpuk-do province and so on. Multiple regression and multiple hierarchical regression analysis are applied to test the proposed hypotheses: 1) the relationship between knowledge management and innovation, 2) the moderating effects of Convergence Federation's participation on the relationship between knowledge management and innovation. Empirical survey's findings are as follows; First, knowledge acquisition and application showed to be positively related with all innovation activities(organization innovation, human resource innovation, product innovation, and quality innovation). Second, Convergence Federation's participation strengthened the positive relationship between knowledge acquisition and product innovation, and it did also the positive relationship between knowledge application and product innovation.

21세기는 지식기반 사회다. 보다 정확한 지식정보를 누가 더 신속하게 선점하는 가가 상품이나 노동력보다 높은 가치를 갖고, 정보 획득 능력의 차이가 사람의 능력을 좌우하는 사회인 것이다. 특히, 급변하는 과학기술계에서 정보 획득 능력의 차이는 R&D의 성패를 가르는 결정적 요인이다. 그리고 그 결정적 요인을 좌우하는 사람들이 바로 오늘의 주인공, '정보검색시스템의 마이더스'들이다.

Recent years have witnessed various attempts of firms to acquire new knowledge. Purchasing intellectual property or merger and acquisition (M&A) can be such attempts, but joint venture can also be an effective way internalizing new complementary assets from external partners. However, due to difficulties in the formation and implementation of learning strategies, many joint ventures have failed to acquire necessary knowledge. In this respect, based on contingency theory and dynamic capability, the current research aims to investigate the failure case of knowledge transfer in an international joint venture - KEFICO established by Hyundai motors and BOSCH. Case firm optimized for hardware technology but did not establish a differentiated learning strategy and organizational structure to acquire software skills, which are intellectuals of different natures. Due to this inconsistency, it was not able for KEFICO to absorb new type of knowledge (skills related to engine control system). This study suggests the theoretical framework illustrating the case and provides some important implications for organizational learning.

The focus of this study is to analyze the link between existing knowledge in the organization and NPD performance. After a comprehensive literature review, we identified factors influential in the management of existing knowledge, such as efficiency of information acquisition, shared interpretation, structure of organization. Through an empirical research, we found that existing knowledge was positively associated with the efficiency of information acquisition and shared interpretation. Additionally, a strong relationship was found between information acquisition efficiency and NPD. Shared information, however, was not found to be associated with NPD. This result, make us recognize the necessity to better understand some subprocesses through which existing knowledge affects new product performance.

전문가 시스템의 지식베이스 구축에 필요한 규칙추출에 관련되는 지식공학자의 인력 부족자 전문분야에 적합한 지식공학자 확보에 따른 비용 증가, 지식공학자 수행 프로세스의 비 정형화로 인하여 특정한 전문가 시스템의 개발 때마다 관련된 지식획득 과정의 어려움 발생, 전문가 시스템의 지식베이스 특성이 고려되지 않은 개발 과정 수행에 따른 비현실적인 지식베이스 구축 등의 현존 문제점은 효율적인 전문가 시스템 개발의 장애 요인이 되고 있다. 이 논문에서는 전문가 시스템 개발에 있어서 체계적인 규칙추출을 위하여 지식베이스 구축에 관한 분석단계까지를 5개 단계로 세분화하여 지식획득과정을 강화하였고, 각 단계별로 지식공학자가 수행해야 하는 프로세스와 각 프로세스별로 지식공학자가 실질적인 작업을 통해 결과를 산출하는 태스크를 정형화하였다. 규칙추출 프로세스/태스크를 체계적으로 정형화하는 것은 성공적인 전문가 시스템의 개발에 도움을 줄 것이며, 개발자가 지식공학자의 역할을 대행할 수 있으므로 지식공학자의 확보 문제를 해결할 수 있다. 또한, 전문가 시스템의 적용 분야에 대한 확대 효과가 기대된다.

R&D의 발전과 함께 필요한 지식과 정보가 증가하며 참여자들도 확대되었다. 따라서 기업은 외부의 지식을 관리할 필요가 발생하였으며, 고객의 지식은 가장 중점적인 관리의 대상이다. 본 연구는 고객의 지식을 R&D에 활용할 수 있도록 해주는 고객지식관리시스템(CKMS)의 설계를 목적으로 한다. CKMS는 고객을 성공적인 지식 창출 사이클로 유도하며, 기업의 고객 지식 획득을 지원하고 고객의 관점에서 생성된 지식을 R&D에 유용한 형태로 전환하는 과정을 지원한다. 우선 R&D 프로세스와 필요한 고객 지식과 CKMS의 기능을 정의하였다. 또한 시스템 설계를 위하여 고객 선정, 고객 참여, 지식 창출 및 지식 획득의 관점에서 설계를 위한 기준과 그 속성을 정의하였다.

Simulation for product design requires a lot of causal knowledge. Hence, knowledge integration is required for obtaining a new knowledge from existing knowledge. For example, a user requests knowledge for the heating cup. However, the knowledge base only has knowledge for heating and cup, not heating cup. At his situation, knowledge integration can generate a new heating cup knowledge from existing heating and cup knowledge. Therefore, the user can obtain the knowledge for heating cup. Hence, this study aims to propose a novel knowledge integration method for product design.

The purpose of this study is to review the relationships among the determinants of knowledge management and knowledge management, and it's consequences, and the moderating effects of organizational culture on the relationship between the determinants of Knowledge Management and Knowledge Management, and the relationship between Knowledge Management and it's consequences. In the relationship between Knowledge Management and it's consequences, knowledge acquisition and knowledge transfer are positively related with personal and intra-organizational, and inter-organizational effectiveness.

근대화 과정에서 바다에 대한 지식을 가진 국가는 제국을 이루었음을 볼 때, 바다에 대한 지식 획득이 근대화로 가는 중요한 요소임을 알 수 있다. 그러나 조선은 후기에 들어 해방도 작성 등 바다에 대한 나름대로의 지식을 축적하였으나, 서양의 근대 해도 기술의 수용이 부족하여 우리 바다에 대한 지식을 열강과 일본에 빼앗겨 근대화에 실패하였다. 왜 우리는 바다에 대한 지식 획득에 뒤처졌는가에 대한 답을 찾기 위해 바다 지식의 결집체라 할 수 있는 전근대 고지도의 변천 과정을 살펴봄으로써 그 단서에 접근할 수 있을 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 해도의 특성이 포함된 고지도를 해도의 범주로 수용하기 위해 古(고)해도라는 개념을 도입하여, 관련된 기존 연구를 분석하고 그 한계를 파악하고자 한다. 나아가 고해도의 개념과 범주의 틀을 제안하고, 이 틀로 한국의 고해도 분석을 통해 고해도의 연구 전망을 제시하고자 한다.
