A Design of Editor Information System for Management Knowledge (지식관리를 위한 사용자정보시스템의 설계)

  • 본 논문에서는 누구나 장소 시간 제약 없이 문서작성과 편집이 가능한 DOKUWIKI를 활용하여 웹 기반 문서관리를 위한 사용자 정보시스템을 제안하였다. 웹 2.0기반 WIKI시스템의 DOKUWIKI는 USB를 활용하여 언제, 어디서나 협업문서를 생성하거나 수정 활용할 수 있도록 한다. 그러므로 이동 환경에서 사용할 수 있으므로 더욱 효율적인 실시간 웹 협력이 가능하다. 하지만 협업문서는 많은 사람들에 의해 문서가 생성되고 수정되고 사용되기 때문에 잘못된 자료가 방대해질 수 있다. 이러한 문제점을 보안하기 위해 사용자 정보시스템은 마지막문서를 작성한 사람이 누구인지, 이 문서에 영향을 가장 많이 끼친 사람이 누구인지, 누구에 의해 문서가 생성되었는지 등의 정보를 제공한다.

  • With the convergence of disciplines in progress and Web 2.0 online collaborative environment, online knowledge exchange activities of researchers are increasing. Quickness of acquiring knowledge highly impacts on research productivity in the global era. Online knowledge exchange is critical service for researchers. In this study, knowledge exchange service model was presented from the perspective of activate participation, knowledge quality improvement, quickness of exchanges. A variety of domestic and international knowledge exchange services were analyzed, particularly Korean domestic service KOSEN What is? as for operational practice. It is confirmed that in order to stimulate researcher knowledge exchange the quality of the knowledges exchanged is essential and variety of operating activities are needed such as expert matching systems, enhancement of speed in knowledge exchange, ease of usability, and elements of fun.

OntoThink-$K^{(R)}$: An Inference Service Based on DBMS (Onto Think-$K^{(R)}$: DBMS 기반 추론 서비스)

  • 본 논문은 지식 기반 정보유통 플랫폼 OntoFrame-K$^{(R)}$ 상에서 추론을 이용하여 연구자 간 협업 서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 하는 DBMS 기반 추론 서비스 OntoThink-K$^{(R)}$에 대해 기술한다. 본 추론 서비스는 URI 서버를 이용하여 RDF 트리플을 생성하고 추론 규칙에 의해 해당 트리플을 확장하며 SPARQL을 통해 질의 결과를 생성해낸다. 특히 이 모든 과정은 DBMS 기반으로 설계 구현되었는데 URI 서버와 성과 비성과 등록 인터페이스를 통해 별도의 추론 엔진을 사용하지 않고도 정합성이 보장되는 지식을 생성 관리할 수 있도록 하며, 불안정한 성능을 보이는 추론 엔진을 이용하지 않기 때문에 안정적인 성능을 보장할 수 있다는 데 그 특징이 있다. OntoThink-K$^{(R)}$는 온톨로지 스키마 트리플, 인스턴스 트리플, 그리고 전방 추론을 통해 획득한 추가 트리플을 포함하는 확장 트리플을 기반 지식으로 하는데, 최종 사용되는 RDF 트리플의 크기는 지식 확장 이전 631,158개, 지식 확장 이후 1,112,100개이다.

  • Development of Intelligent Systems involves effective integration of large-scaled knowledge processing and understanding, human-machine interaction, and intelligent services. Especially, in our project for development of a self-growing knowledge-based system with inference methodologies utilizing the big data technology, we are building a platform called WiseKB as the central knowledge base for storing massive amount of knowledge and enabling question-answering by inferences. WiseKB thus requires an effective methodology to analyze diverse requirements convoluted with the integration of various components of knowledge representation, resource management, knowledge storing, complex hybrid inference, and knowledge learning, In this paper, we propose an integrated requirement analysis method that blends the traditional sequential method and the iterative-incremental method to achieve an efficient requirement analysis for large-scale systems.

A Study on the Effect of Co-operation Partners on Innovation Performance :Focused on service industry (협업 파트너가 혁신성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 :서비스산업을 중심으로)

  • The service industry, as a new growth engine, has become more important in response to changes in the global economy and the industrial environment. Developed countries have promoted the competitiveness of the service industry and have enhanced economic added value. Developing new services requires extensive resources. Therefore, cooperation and network building capabilities with customers, suppliers, and various knowledge creation agencies are critical sources of competitiveness. This study classified the Korean service industry by industrial type in order to enhance innovation competence.The Korean service industry lags behind that of developed countries, and this study analyzed the differences of innovation results according to collaboration partners by the classified industry. By adopting a method that applies industrial classification by Dialogic's innovation pattern, this study showed external cooperation results were different by industrial type. Analysis results revealed that companies cooperate with customers and competitors in many cases; however, product innovation was higher for companies that collaborated with private service companies. In the 'Innovation in services' industry, industry cooperation with universities showed organizational innovation achievements. In the 'Innovation through services' industry, cooperation with customers positively affected marketing innovation achievements. Consequently, the need to foster consulting firms and universities that can professionally collaborate with companies is implied in order to enhance the Korean service industry.

  • This paper describes an e-Engineering framework to support collaborative design of automotive suspension systems developed at KIMM(Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials). The e-Engineering framework is proposed and developed on the base of the multi-layered software agents including engineering task agent which is generated from the domain knowledge of experts. The developed framework is aim to widely spread application to the small and medium enterprises by adopting open source technologies such as JADE (Java Agent Development Framework) and by using the independent characteristics related with applicant H/W and 81W system. This framework can provide an integrated design environment to support distributed personnel, design activities and engineering resources during product development process. For the validation of the system's applicability and efficiency, the several practical design processes for automotive suspension systems of RR/FR lower arms and RR cross member are applied and discussed.

  • P2P(Peer to Peer) 기술은 잠재적 능력에도 불구하고 컨텐츠의 저작권문제와 보안문제 등으로 인하여 많은 사람들이 충분히 활용하지 못하고 있다. 본 연구는 인터넷 사용자(개인)와 소규모 서버를 운영하는 조직들이 정보 제공, 분배, 공유의 정보시스템 구조를 자신들의 목적에 맞게 자유롭게 만들 수 있는 프레임워크인 오픈웨어 (Openware)의 개발에 관한 것이다. 오픈웨어는 P2P기반 시스템으로 다음과 같은 특징올 갖는다. 1) 다수의 서버와 클라이언트로 이루어지는 구조로, 사용자의 목적에 맞게 집중형 혹은 분산형 구조를 자유롭게 혼합하여 정보시스템을 구성 할 수 있다. 이러한 정보 구조의 유연성은 다양한 형태의 협업(개인과 개인, 개인과 그룹, 그룹과 그룹)이 요구되는 응용 시스템의 기반을 제공한다. 2) 데이터 관점에서 오픈웨어는 개인이 데이터베이스를 손쉽게 생성, 관리 할 수 있고, 자신의, 데이터 혹은 데이터베이스 구조를 다른 사람이나 그룹과 공유 하거나 통합 할 수 있다. 3) 데이터 통신면에서 오픈웨어는 HTTP(HyperText Transfer Protocol) 프로토콜만을 사용하는 웹 기반 시스템으로 인터넷에 연결 되어있는 누구와도 오픈웨어를 통해 협업이 가능하다. 4) 소프트웨어 이름에서 알 수 있듯이 오픈웨어는 Java, JSP, Apache, Resin등 공개소프트어로 만들어져 있고, 오픈웨어 자체도 공개소프트웨어이다. 오픈웨어는 개인과 그룹의 흠페이지 생성과 관리, 파일 공유 기능이 구현 되어있고, 데이터베이스 공유, 통합 기능을 이용하여 개인이나 그룹의 주소록관리, 일정관리 등이 가능하다. 오픈웨어는 사용자 흑은 개발자가 다양한 형태의 응용컴포넌트를 자유롭게 등록하여 기능을 추가 할 수 있는 확장성올 제공하고 있어서, 앞으로 e-메일, 매신저, 전자결재, 지식관리시스템, 인터넷 방송 시스템의 기반 구조 역할을 할 수 있다. 현재 오픈웨어에 적용하기 위한 P2P 기반의 지능형 BPM(Business Process Management)에 관한 연구와 X인터넷 기술을 이용한 RIA (Rich Internet Application) 기반 웹인터페이스 연구를 진행하고 있다.

Cognitive Mechanisms of Collaborative Learning and Technology Supports (협동학습의 인지적 기제와 테크놀로지의 지원)

  • The main goal of this paper is to understand the underlying cognitive mechanisms of collaborative learning and how it can be supported by technology. The paper first overviews changes in conceptions of learning and distinguishes different types of joint works including collaborative learning. Cognitive mechanisms of collaborative learning are examined in terms of resource pooling, facilitation of constructive activities, knowledge co-construction, and supports for monitoring and regulation. Socio-emotional mechanisms of collaborative learning moderate the directions and strengths of these cognitive mechanisms. Technology supports these mechanisms in a number of different ways. Seven major supports technology provides for collaborative learning are discussed. A deeper understanding of the cognitive mechanisms of collaborative learning can help us to harness the benefits of collaborative learning better and also to develop more sophisticated tools supporting collaborative learning.

  • Today, companies are increasingly focused on SCM (Supply Chain Management) as a means for cost-cutting and efficient operation. The company's ultimate objective is to win and maintain a sustained dominant position in the uncertainties of the global environment and future competitiveness. In this respect, this study examined the effects of management strategy, collaboration process and SCM integration on corporate performance in small and midsize parts manufacturers. The results of empirical analysis are summarized as follows. Management strategy, collaboration process and SCM integration had positive effects on corporate performance in domestic small and midsize parts manufacturers, and all hypotheses were supported. Consequently, it can be confirmed that quality, cost and flexibility for management strategy, and strategic objective perception, support policy, problem solution and knowledge information sharing for delivery and collaboration as small and midsize parts manufacturers are mechanisms for improving quality reliability, decreasing cost, delivery obedience and information system operation of SCM integration, and boosting corporate quantitative and qualitative performance.

Analysis of Z Generation's Collaborative Information Activities through Challenges: Focusing on Korean College Students (챌린지에 나타난 Z세대의 협업 정보 활동 - 국내 대학생을 중심으로 -)

  • Through a survey of college students, this study explained the process and aspects of how Generation Z interacted with information while collaborating on a daily basis. Applying the Radical Change Theory, the study investigated the platforms through which university students engaged in challenges and their information behaviors. University students primarily participated in challenges using platforms such as Instagram and Naver Blog. In terms of changes in information seeking, which is the first type of information seeking in the theory, a wide and diverse range of information behaviors were observed, with the way of searching for information being quite different from when the digital age arrived 10 years ago. Information sources included not only digitalized ones but also traditional sources such as printed materials and personal contacts. The utilization of various media types was prominent, and collaborative efforts were voluntarily undertaken for challenges. In terms of changing perspectives, type 2 of information behavior, the main motivation for acquiring information and securing knowledge led to participation in the challenge. Participants exhibited a sense of community consciousness, including mutual influence awareness, social participation consciousness, and emotional connection.
