A Comparative Analysis of Verbal Interaction on Traditional Instruction and Flipped Learning (전통적 수업과 플립러닝 수업의 언어 상호작용 비교 분석)

  • This study intends to investigate the features and the difference between traditional instruction and flipped learning through a comparative analysis of verbal interaction on those learning method. The videos of traditional instruction and flipped learning of 5th graders social class were recorded and transcribed, which were analyzed in Flanders verbal interaction model. The results were as follows: First, the flipped learning is composed of students' learning activity and a teacher's statement properly, while the traditional instruction consists of a teacher's statement mostly. Second, the traditional instruction tends to be directive classes that full of dominant, despotic, restrictive communication of teacher oriented. In contrast, the flipped learning is inclined to be nondirective with integrated, democratic, comprehensive, permissive communication of students oriented. Third, the flipped learning emphasizes students' activities and statement and reduces delivery of knowledge, meanwhile, the traditional instruction stresses delivery of content that the teacher centrally located. Lastly, the type of verbal interaction in traditional instruction is a one-way communication, students responding simply in teacher's lectures and questions. On the other hand, in flipped learning lessons, more interactive communication occurs, teachers complimenting students and accepting their comments.

An Analysis of the Communication Patterns according to the Mathematical Problem Types in Small Group (소집단 문제해결 학습에서 수학 문제 유형에 따른 의사소통의 패턴 분석)

  • In the 21C information-based society, there is an increasing demand for emphasizing communication in mathematics education. Therefore the purpose of this study was to research how properties of communication among small group members varied by mathematical problem types. 8 fourth-graders with different academic achievements in a classroom were divided into two heterogenous small groups, four children in each group, in order to carry out a descriptive and interpretive case study. 4 types of problems were developed in the concepts and the operations of fractions and decimals. Each group solved four types of problems five times, the process of which was recorded and copied by a camcorder for analysis, among with personal and group activity journals and the researcher's observations. The following results have been drawn from this study. First, students showed simple mathematical communication in conceptual or procedural problems which require the low level of cognitive demand. However, they made high participation in mathematical communication for atypical problems. Second, even participation by group members was found for all of types of problems. However, there was active communication in the form of error revision and complementation in atypical problems. Third, natural or receptive agreement types with the mathematical agreement process were mainly found for conceptual or procedural problems. But there were various types of agreement, including receptive, disputable, and refined agreement in atypical problems.

한국원자력연구소 방사선방어기술 개발 및 연구 현황

  • 1959년 한국원자력연구소가 창립됨과 동시에 &Health Physics&, 즉 보건물리라고 하는 명칭과 조직이 탄생되어, 방사선안전관리의 실무와 보건물리의 연구가 시작되었다. 최초 10년간은 선진제국의 보건물리분야의 연구와 기술을 추적하여 우리나라의 방사선안전관리 기술의 기초를 다지는 시기로서 개인방사선모니터링기술, 환경방사선(능) 모니터링기술 및 방사선방어용계측기기의 교정기술 개발에 중점을 두고 연구개발이 추진되었으며, TRIGA Mark-II 연구용원자로의 가동에 따라 원자로 생체차폐체의 건전성 검증에 관한 유익한 방사선량 측정자료도 얻게 되었다. 즉 이 기간은 방사선안전관리의 체제정비 및 기초기술 확립에 노력한 기간이었다. 1970년대는 원자력 연구개발에 대한 기본방향과 정책의 변경등으로 보건물리 연구조직은 방사선안전관리, 환경연구 그리고 방사화학분야로 분산되었으며, 그로인하여 연구개발활동은 거의 정체되어 겨우 방사선안전관리 실무만이 그 명맥을 유지하였다. 그 결과 우리나라 방사선안전관리 및 그와 관련된 연구개발의 기반이 흔들리게 되었으나, 그러한 환경하에서도 방사선량측정평가기술, 방사선차폐설계기술 및 원자로사고시 피폭선량평가기술의 선진화에 필요한 지식을 얻었으며, 방사선 안전관리에 유익한 실무경험도 축적하게 되었다. 1980년대는 통합된 원자력 연구개발체제의 구축으로 방사선작업종사자 및 일반공중의 피폭저감화 기술개발에 필요한 각종 최신기술을 도입하였고, 관리업무에 있어서도 측정의 정확도와 신뢰성향상 및 새로운 관리기술의 개발에 많은 노력을 한 결과, 유익한성과를 얻게된 기간이다. 특히, 이 기간은 방사선안전관리기술의 선진화를 위한 지식이 축적되어 90년대의 방사선안전관리기술자립화를 위한 전환기로서, 이와같이 축적된 기술은 원자력의 평화적 이용에 크게 기여할 것으로 기대된다.서 dithiothreitol를 투여한 군에서는 우라늄단독투여군에 비해 cretinine의 배설이 상당히 증가하였다(P<0.05). 6. 우라늄오염에 의한 신장의 소견에 있어 우라늄단독투여군은 근위곡세뇨관상피의 공포화 및 종창, microvilli와 brush border의 손실, 세뇨관 상피의 괴사가 관찰되었으며, 간장의 충혈, 중심성 괴사 및 모세관 확장증도 관찰되었다. 그리고 sodium bicarbonate와 생리적 식염수를 병행투여한 군과 우라늄을 투여하고 30분이 지나서 dithiothreitol를 투여한 군에서는 우라늄 단독투여군에 비해 높은 방호효과가 관찰되었으나 다른 실험군에서는 큰 효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 우라늄의 체내오염시에는 sodium bicarbonate와 생리적 식염수를 가능한 빨리 병행투여하거나 dithiothreitol을 체내오염후 30분이 지나서 투여하는 방법이 우라늄오염에 대한 제염에 매우 유효할 것으로 생각되며, 특히 우라늄에 의한 인체장해를 유의하게 경감시켜줄 것으로 사료되었다.내의 어떤 부위와도 관계가 되는 것으로 간주되는데 이것이 $(^3H)$ QNB가 $(^3H)$ NMS보다 높은 최대 결합능력 $(B_{max})$을 나타낼 이유이다. Analysis of Reflective Thinking Characteristic of College Students in General Physics Experiment (일반물리학실험에 나타난 대학생의 반성적 사고 특징 분석)

  • This study aims to analyze the characteristics of reflective thoughts of students during experiments in general physics experiments. The participants were 32 college students, they submitted 10 experiment reports including answers to questions for reflective thinking. The results were as follows: First, students show reflective thinking broadly in the experiment, levels were followed by practical reflection, technical reflection, and critical reflection. Also, they actively accepted the knowledge related to experiments, but were passive in connecting new knowledge and experiences obtained through the experiments or forming new questions. Second, the reflective thinking of students show high correlation with experiments related to prior knowledge or the easy-to-understand process. Third, through the qualitative analysis of open-ended questions, it was confirmed that technical reflection occurs in individual evaluation, practical reflection in group evaluation, and practical reflection and critical reflection in improvement proposal. While the students' reflective thinking were superficial or mainly functional, however, they recursively examined the learning contents and the experimental process concurrently.

  • 생활이 풍족해질수록 사람들은 음식이나 음료를 통하여 미각을 즐기는 경향이 강해지고 있다. 미각이 발달한 사람들은 다른 감각이 발달한 사람들보다 소비 욕구가 왕성하여 상품정보에 밝은 편이고 신제품에 대한 호기심도 많아 주요고객으로 환영받을 수 있는 가능성이 매우 높다. 이러한 점을 고려할 때 미각은 소비성향의 척도가 될 수 있으며, 이것이 상품개발에 중요한 지표가 될 가능성이 있다. 그러나 맛에 민감하다거나 둔감하다고 표현되는 개인의 미각물질에 대한 감도는 개인마다 일정치 않다. 이것은 미각물질에 따라 개인의 상대적인 역치의 고조나 미각 강도의 대소가 다르거나 감도가 다른 미각물질에 대한 수용구조에 개인차가 있기 때문이다. 이처럼 개인차가 있는 미각을 표준화된 방법으로 측정하는 것은 그리 쉬운 일이 아니다. 미각강도 측정을 위한 Time-Intensity curve는 1958년 음식물의 특성에 대해 관심을 가졌던 Nielson에 의해 개발되었는데 최근에 Takagi와 Asakura가 Time-Intensity curve분석과 기록을 위해 microcomputer를 이용한 방법을 개발하였다. 그들의 방범은 Time-Intensity curve를 모니터에 보여주고 data를 floppy discs에 기록하여 software로 분석하는 것이다. 본 연구는 이것을 좀더 편리하고 단순하게 만들기 위해 감각의 강도를 전기적 저항의 interface를 통하여 computer에 입력하는 대신에 mouse를 이용하여 입력하는 방법을 개발하였다. 새로이 개발된 Time-Intensity curve를 이용하여 커피성분 중 설탕과 프림의 농도에 변화를 주어 맛의 좋고 싫음의 미각강도를 측정하는 실험을 하였다. 그 결과 상품개발의 중요한 지표가 되는 미각의 강도를 측정할 수 있었고 이것은 향후 commercial한 상품의 개발에 유용한 지표가 될 것이라고 본다.시사한다. 본 연구에서는 한국 연구 조직에서 일하는 외국인 연구자들의 동기 및 성과에 영향을 미치는 많은 요인들을 확인할 수 있었다. 상관관계, 분산분석, 회귀분석 등을 통해 활용 성과에 미치는 영향 요인들을 도출하였다. 설문 분석을 통하여 동기 및 성과 사이에는 강한 상관관계가 존재하는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며 이는 전통적인 동기 이론들과 부합한다. 대부분의 변수가 동기 및 성과에 동시에 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었으며 그중에서도 조직 협력 문화, 외국인 연구자의 의사소통 및 협력성, 외국인 연구자의 연구 능력 관련 변수들 및 연구 프로젝트의 기술수명주기, 외국인 연구자의 기존 기술지식의 흡수 등이 가장 중요한 변수로 나타났다. 이는 우리가 주로 중국 및 러시아 과학자들을 활용하여 상업화하는 외국인 연구인력 활용 패턴과도 일치하는 결과이다. 즉 우호적인 조직문화를 가지고 있는 연구 조직에서, 이미 과학기술 지식을 많이 가지고 있고 연구 능력도 높은 외국인 과학기술자를, 한국에서 기술이 태동 또는 성장하고 있는 연구 분야에서 활용하는 것이 가장 성과가 좋다는 사실을 확인시켜 주고 있다. 국내에서 최초로 수행된 본 연구는 외국인 연구 인력의 활용 성과가 매우 높으며, 우리의 과학기술혁신시스템을 보완하는 유효한 수단으로써 외국인 연구 인력이 중요한 대안이 될 수 있음을 발견하였다. 외국인 연구 인력을 잘 활용하기 위하여 문제점 및 개선방안을 활용 환경, 연구 인력이 중요한 대안이 될 수 있음을 발견하였다. 외국인 연구 인력을 잘 활용하기 위하여 문제점 및 개선 방안을 활용 환경, 연구 인력관리. 인력 교류사업, 외국인 과학자 지원 창구 등으로 나누어서 정리하였다. 연구시설, 주거시설 등의 하드웨어적 환경에 대한 개선도 중요하지만 연구 인력의 관리 능력 제고, 인력 교류 사업의 개선, 정보 제공 등 소프트웨어적인 활용 능력을 제고하는데 정책적인 관심을 기

Critical Review on Discourses of Learning in Global Education Agendas (글로벌 교육의제에 반영된 학습 담론에 대한 비판적 고찰 : 교육의제에'학습'은 어디에 있는가?)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze how the debates on learning and learning outcomes in global education agendas have changed and to understand the discourses and issues about learning under the agendas, and finally based on the understanding, to know what is the implication we should take in international education development cooperation in Korea. To do this, this study critically analyzed 1) what is the main features and directions, and 2) the method and limitation in handling learning concept on three major global education forums which are Jomtien global education forum in 1990, Dakar in 2000, and Incheon in 2015. Major finding shows that there are little learning concept discussed in Jomtien and Dakar forums and in SDGs education agenda, learning is vaguely defined and discussed and there are problems of too much focus on learning outcomes itself and absence of study on proper assessment system. Major lessons and implications for international education development cooperation could be stated that postcolonial perspectives and learner centered approaches is required in developing countries's education ecology. And continuous support for sustainable development for learners' capacity should be underlined. We needs to focus on developing software not hardware from the first of educational ODA. Finally, it is needed to embed within pedagogical approaches.

  • This paper aims to examine how issues related to the heaven-human relation (or nature-culture relation) affected Joseon intellectuals in the eighteenth century by considering Huang Yun Seok as a reference. As a significant indicator, the heaven-human relation issue has traditionally been a critical theme in the history of Confucianism. Since Huang Yun Seok accepted Western Learning based on Zhuxi Learning, he is a good example for examining this issue. Huang's ideas didn't depart too much from Confucianism, but he naturally became interested in Western Learning because of the enthusiastic admiration he had of Ancient Learning since he was a child. Principle-Number was consistent with Ancient Learning and Western Learning, and this was somewhat different from the original notion of numerology. It was used for understanding and explaining astronomical phenomenon. In understanding astronomical phenomenon, Huang used both fact-determined and value-centered approaches. Western astronomy allowed him to make an advance in terms of fact-determined approach while the value-centered approach gave him a portentological perspective on astronomical variation such as solar and lunar eclipses. This indicates one of the ways to keep Zhuxi Learning's identity itself amidst an inflow of new learnings.

An Hwak's Recognition of 'Joseon' and 'Joseon Cheolhak' (안확의 '조선' 인식과 '조선철학')

  • The full-scaled study of Joseon conducted by Japan in the 1910s was part of its colonial policy, while the native Joseon studies against it contained political aspiration to recover the national rights and independence. Accordingly, the conceptual meaning of 'Joseon' varied according to its subject of speech. The establishment of modern nation-state failed along with the extinction of Korean Empire, but 'Joseon' was newly discovered within national ideology. It became a historical concept in which the experience of the past and the expectation toward the future could be united. The so-called 'Joseon Studies' was only limited to intellectuals in the academic circle, but 'Joseon' embraced the articulations from more various social agents. Furthermore, it is only natural that 'Joseon Studies' should be interpreted within the historical semantics of 'Joseon', considering the connection between concept and discourse. In his The History of Joseon Civilization, An Hwak encompassed the history from the times of ancient mythology to the contemporary times under the banner of 'Joseon'. Opposing Japanese distortion of history carried out in the name of historical positivism, he idealized Joseon history as comparable to that of the Western democracy. He extended the study of 'Joseon' into culture at large, foreshadowing a kind of Joseon philosophy. In his An Overview of Joseon Philosophical Ideas, the first description of 'Joseon philosophy' as an independent field, he proposed philosophy as one of three sources of pride in Joseon and asserted its uniqueness and originality compared to the West. It was an attempt to grasp the peculiarity of Joseon ideas from a perspective of the history of universal human civilization. He considered 'Jong'(倧) as an ideological foundation held from the ancient to the modern times, and the acceptance of Buddhism and Confucianism as beneficial to 'Joseon philosophy'. The birth of 'Joseon philosophy', the modern transformation of the traditional knowledge system, was an intellectual experiment to apply traditional knowledge to the modern disciplinary classification system.

Factors Affecting the Social Distance from Elderly with Dementia of Social Welfare Students (사회복지전공 대학생의 치매노인에 대한 사회적 거리감의 영향요인)

  • This research is a descriptive study that aimed to identify the knowledge and attitude of dementia, empathy, and social distance from elderly with dementia of social welfare students and the effect these had on their social distance from elderly with dementia. This study was conducted by collecting 191 social welfare students in three universities in C and D cities. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, ANOVA, t-test, Pearson's correlation coefficients and multiple regression with the SPSS 23.0 program. The average social distance from elderly with dementia was 3.40 points. The social distance from elderly with dementia of the study participants showed a positive correlation between the attitude of dementia(r=.47, p=.001) and empathy(r= .27, p<.001). According to the results of multiple regression analysis, attitude of dementia(β=.21, p=.001), and empathy(β=.37, p<.001) were shown to be significant factors that affected the social distance from elderly with dementia. These variables explained 36.5%. Therefore, an education program to improve the ocial distance from elderly with dementia of social welfare students should be considered as a way to enhance positive attitude of dementia and empathy.

  • With the development of information technology, new technologies to be introduced in each industry are continuously increasing. This study aims to verify the influence of ambivalent emotions experienced when encountering new technologies, the coping strategies they induce, and their impact on the decision-making process of technology adoption Specifically, this research investigates the emotions and responses to new technologies in the situational context where service providers must deliver services based on new technology in environments where no such services have been developed previously. Furthermore, it seeks to verify the influence of coping responses on the intention to use services based on new technologies. To this end, this study investigated the ambivalent emotions and coping responses of financial sector workers to new financial services based on metaverse technology. As a result of the analysis ambivalance had a significant effect on all four coping responses (disengagement-oriented coping, denial, indecision and compromise). Among them, denial, which is an inflexible response, and compromise, which is a flexible response, had a significant positive effect on the intention to use, and disengagement-oriented coping and indecision had a significant negative effect on the intention to use. The results of this study confirm the user's metaverse acceptance factor and user-centered influence, and are expected to provide guidelines for the introduction of services to practical workers with academic significance.
