최근 네트워크의 활성화로 인하여 많은 지식 정보들이 생겨나고 있다. 지식 정보들은 구조적인 정보로 표현되고 응용 프로그램들 상에서 대량으로 처리하기 위해 관계형 데이터베이스 시스템을 이용하여 많이 구축된다. 그러나 대부분의 응용 프로그램들 상에서 관계형으로 구성된 지식 정보들을 적당히 표현할 방법이 부족하다. 또한 이들을 가공 처리하여 표현하는 응용 프로그램들을 유지하는 데 많은 비용이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 웹 상이나 응용 프로그램 등에서 XML과XSLT를 이용하여 관계형화 된 지식 정보들에 대해 효율적으로 가시화 시킬 수 있도록 지원하는 시스템을 제시한다. VAS의 효율성을 보이기 위해 다양한 OS 플랫폼 상에서의 응용 프로그램들을 구축하였다.

In this paper, we proposed one of the methods for building thesaurus in Science & Technology domain and investigated its applicability as an inference service based on ontology. There exist as many building methods for thesaurus as its role and function, and actually many thesauri capable of ensuring the accuracy and efficiency in information search are being built by many experts. After examining the previous studies related to the principles of building thesaurus and relevant concept "facet", we focused on its characteristics and applied it to building thesaurus. The facet is classified into 2 categories, conceptual facet and relational facet. The latter contains 3 subcategories: category relational facet, attribute relational facet and thematic relational facet. The thesaurus for Science & Technology domain using facets can be applied as a web-based inference service. As a result, the three types of inference service, COP(Communities of Practice), Researcher Tracing and Research Map are provided by means of ontology, and can be applied for the Query Expansion.

The national spatial information systems project which is promoted by our country has been extended from existing 2-D geographic information to 3-D spatial information as the basic geo-spatial Information. Most of the construction of the ground geo-spatial information are completed or underway, on the other hand, the construction of the subsurface geo-spatial information has difficulty caused by the lack of the drilling data characterizing the subsurface. In terms of the construction of the geo-spatial information of the subsurface, the subsurface information is constructed and managed by the domestic institutions, but the subsurface information which is possessed by the institutions was not shared mutually so it is managed inefficiently. This study presented the 3-D national underground information DB design by dividing with the ground DB item which configures the state of the ground and the soil DB item which configures the state of the soil in order to increase the efficiency of the construction of the subsurface spatial information. The implementation & utilization of the national underground information application technology was reviewed by applying the constructed DB to the actual model area, and the national underground information knowledge-based community establishment plan was presented.

대다수의 사람들이 갖고 있지 않은 특정분야-예를 들어 의학, 법률, 과학적 분석, 회로설계 등-의지식을 요하는 일은 이에 필요한 지식을 갖춘 전문가에 의해서만 가능하였으나 최근 컴퓨터 기술의 발달로 이런 일을 해주는 프로그램의 탄생을 보게 되었으며 이런 프로그램을 전문가 시스템이라고 하고 전문가 시스템을 구축하는 일을 지식공학(knowledge engineering)이라고 한다. 지식공학은 인공지능을 응용면에서 추구하는 바이며 지적기능을 프로그램화하는 과학이라 할 수 있다. 먼저 지식공학을 위한 컴퓨터 구조를 기술하기 전에 인공지능 응용 프로그램의 특징에 대해 언급하고자 한다.

정보화 사회의 모토가 생산성 향상과 자원의 효율적 활용이라면, 최근 유행처럼 사용하는 "지식 사회"라는 용어의 본직은 새로운 가치창조라고 말할 수 있다. 지식은 다른 지식과 결합될 때 그 가치가 더욱 증가된다. 누구나 쉽게 지식을 제공하고, 또한 편리하게 접근할 수 있는 인터넷의 가상공간은 이러한 지식 결합을 위한 최적의 기반이다. 본고에서는 인터넷상에 산재되어 있는 정보통신 전문분야의 정보자원을 체계적이고 효과적으로 관리하며, 이용자들이 원하는 정보통신 전문 분야의 인터넷 정보 자원에 효과적으로 접근할 수 있게 하는 전문검색 사이트인 정보통신 메타데이터베이스 시스템의 개발에 대하여 소개하고자 한다.

National competence is based on the quality of university education, which is determined by the competitiveness of academia, research and information, IMD reported that Singapore, #2 country in national competence index, topped in quality of university education. Meanwhile Korea's current national knowledge infrastructure project lacks comprehensive coordination at a governmental level and has been conducted in a rather sporadic manner, without any consideration on the overall analysis of knowledge information resources. Consequently, a disproportionate amount of attention was devoted to collecting general information resources, while neglecting rare, hard-to-collect sources with historic, academic, and/or cultural values. This study proposes to build an academic resource management system to fully supervise academic resources at least, among national knowledge information resources which is a national asset, and also to allocate budget and cultivate new information building projects based on overall analysis on academic resources. In other words, there is a need for a management system to implement efficient linkage, distribution and utilization of academic resources and, to that end, we need to build an academic resource management system at a national level, maximizing the benefits from the knowledge society that we live in.

21세기는 우수한 기술을 바탕으로 하는 지식재산권이 국가 및 기업의 경쟁력을 결정하는 지식정보화 시대이다. 무한경쟁과 지역경제주의로 대표되는 국제 경제 환경에서 중소기업의 생존은 지식재산권의 확보가 절대적이라 할 수 있다. 그러나 국내 중소기업은 지식재산권에 대한 인식부족으로 산업재산권을 보유한 중소기업이 전체 종업원수의 $2.4{\%}$에 불과하다. 따라서 중소기업의 지식재산권 창출 지원을 통해 중소기업계를 지식집약형 구조로 유도 개선 시키기 위한 전국적인 지식재산권 인식확산과 제도적인 인프라구축이 무엇보다 중요하다. 이에 특허청에서는 민관합동으로 중소기업 지식재산 창출 및 활용지원을 통해 중소기업체를 지식집약형 구조로 유도 개선하기 위한 '중소기업 지식재산권 갖기 운동'을 역점사업으로 추진하고 있다. 본란에서는 중소기업 지식재산권 갖기운동 추진계획의 세부 내용을 게재하니 산업계 업체들의 지식재산권 확보를 위한 요긴한 자료로서 활용되었으면 하는 바램이 크다.

지식경？ 전략과 기업 성과에 대한 기존 연구는 연구방법 및 대상이 제한적이었다. 본 연구는 전략과 성과에 대한 영향분석을 위해 국내 기업을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 지식경영 전략은 (ⅰ) 내부 및 외부 지식원천을 이용하고 사람 및 지식 재사용을 모두 강조하는 적극적 전략, (ⅱ) 내부지식을 위주로 한 사람중심 전략(ⅲ) 외부지식 위주의 재사용중심 전략(ⅳ) 지식원천 활용이 저조하고 확실한 지식경영 중심이 미비한 소극적 전략의 4 유형으로 대별된다. 기업성과는 재무적 요소와 비재무적 요소가 고려되었다. 또한 조직구조, 문화, 기술적 특성의 차이도 파악되었는데, 적극적 전략의 기업이 조직구조, 문화, 그리고 정보기술 측면에서 지식경영에 적합하다는 점이 파악되었다. 내부지식 위주의 사람 중심형 기업은 조직 공동의 문화형성에 많은 노력을 기울이는 반면, 외부지식 중심의 재사용 중심형 기업은 정보기술 인프라 구축에서 우수함이 분석되었다. 본 연구결과는 기업의 지식경영 전략 수립에 실제적 지침을 제공할 것으로 기대된다.

The purpose of this study is to suggest knowledge-based digital library model that is applicable in korea university library. This paper provides brief accounts of research and development trends of digital library in referring some major digital library projects that are in progress, or just completed. There follows a suggestion of eight essential modules for knowledge-based digital library system, that are infrastructure development of dissertation presentation and database construction, management and service of collections, infrastructure construction of journal service, development of unified viewer, database conversion, distributed & integrated retrieval system, cyber campus(private work space), and database connection.
