증기발생기 전열관 슬리브 레이저 보수용접을 위한 레이저 전송 광섬유 감시장치

  • 원자력발전소 중기발생기 전열관 sleeve의 레이저 보수용접은 원자로 외부의 레이저 광원을 sleeve 내부의 용접 head까지 광섬유로 수백 미터를 전송하여 수행된다. 전열관 레이저용접은 용접 중의 레이저출력, 레이저 전송 광학계의 파손여부, 광학계의 정렬상태 등을 정확히 감시하여 수행하여야 하지만, 작업공간의 협소함과 방사능 구역이라는 어려움 때문에 실시간 감시가 쉽지 않다. 본 연구에서는 광섬유 전송 광학계와 지시용 레이저를 이용하여, 광섬유의 끝단에서 반사된 레이저 빔을 이용하여 광섬유 상태를 실시간 감시할 수 있음을 실험적으로 확인하였다. 실험은 core 직경 800um 의 step index 레이저 전송용 광섬유를 사용하였으며, 광섬유 끝단에 물등의 불순물이 있을 경우와 광섬유가 파손되었을 경우의 감시결과를 얻어, 광섬유 광학계의 실시간 감시가 가능함을 보였다.

Methods for Call Distribution Service Feature of Service Control Logic in Intelligent Network (지능망에서 서비스 제어 로직의 호 분배 서비스 특성을 위한 방법)

  • In this paper, we define requirements for call distribution of service control logic in Intelligent Network, Also, we propose call distribution mechanism for every subscriber with different call distribution rates, The call distribution mechanism had been developed as a function of Premium-rate Service in Intelligent Network. Our call distribution mechanism applies to percentage distribution instead of circular or hierarchical distribution. The call distribution mechanism consists of call input. output. call distribution processing logic part, random number generator, and customers database. We propose the practical implementation of a call distribution mechanism and call distribution decision indicating number computation method. We show three methods, the rand() function in C language, microsecond by system clock, and proposed algorithm, to get call distribution decision indicating number. In order to optimal call distribution mechanism, we estimated the results of three methods on occurrence values and the number of occurrences.

  • When modelling lots of induction motors to design and configure an engine room simulator, the 2 parameters equivalent circuit has many practical benefits as it reduces working hours considerably without requiring complicated technical data from makers except the ratings of motors. The basic properties such as torque and load current are shown well matched with real cases by this method, but almost the only drawback of 2 parameters circuit is that it reveals inherently higher power factor in the whole operation range due to disregarding the exciting current of the induction motor to maximize the simplification. This paper suggests a modelling module as a practical tool to compensate the power factor by inserting a virtual compensation current into the load current from 2 parameters equivalent circuit, and the simulated results show satisfactory outputs and the improved power factor indication by performance curves when compared to the cases of 2 parameters-equivalent circuit.

A Study on the Linear Counting Ratemeter (선형 계수율계에 관한 연구)

  • This paper describes the transistorized linear counting ratemeter which can be uses to indicate on the meter or record the counting rates of the nuclear radiations produced from the atomic reactor or from the radio isotopes. Tte feature of this ratemeter is the use of the transistor chopper for good stabilization. At the input stage of the a. c. amplifier a composite emitter follower buffer stage has been used to give the high input impedance. A hybrid parameter equivalent circuit was modeled for the analysis of this buffer stage. The counting rates can be linearly measured from few CPS up to 100KCPS in 4 ranges. The resolution is less than 0.5$\mu$sec and the output drift at the room temperature with 7-hour continuous operation is in the order of $\pm$0.5$\mu$A.

  • In this paper, we've studied Optical Fiber Subscribe Transmit system. After receiving the ATM cell passing through the FIFO of the Asynchronous Transfer Method from the ATM Layer images to the VC4 signal payload passing through scrambling of the cell payload, HEC computation of the cell and inserting the Idle/Unassigned cell. At this time formed VC4 signal passing through the generating and inserting POH overhead at the same time indicating the start point of the cell by the H4 byte on the VC4 POH. This ATM cell transmits 155Mbps speed changing the optical signal after outputting the frame format at the STM-1 signal generation block through the AUG bus after generating J1 of the VC4 start point at the AU4 pointer generation block.

  • 반도체 기술의 발전으로 기존에 전자회로 부품으로 사용되던 LED(Light Emitting Diode)는 차세대 조명용 광원으로 대두되고 있다. LED는 소비전력이 작아 에너지를 절약할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 수명이 길어 유지보수 비용이 획기적으로 줄어든다. 현재 신호등과 같은 지시용 조명기기를 대체할 광원으로 다양한 시도가 이루어지고 있다. LED는 자체적인 발열은 적지만 주변온도에 민감하게 광도가 변화한다는 단점을 가지고 있다. 높은 온도는 LED의 수명에도 영향을 미쳐 열화를 빨리 가져오게 된다. 따라서 정전류제어를 통해 LED의 전류를 일정하게 하고 온도변화에 영향을 받지 않고 광도를 일정하게 유지하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 정전류 구동회로에 열화로 인한 LED의 수명의 연장하기 위해 온도변화에 따라 LED의 구동전류와 일정한 광출력을 유지하기 위한 제어회로를 제안하였다. 제안한 제어회로는 시뮬레이션을 통해 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • 화력 발전소 드럼수위의 제어는 보일러 시스템의 효율적인 운용을 위해 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있다. 드럼수위의 제어 목적은 드럼수위를 외란에 관계없이 항상 설정치로 유지하는 것이다. 정상 운전중에는 드럼의 중앙이하 부분에는 물이 차 있고, 상부에는 증기가 차 있으나 만일 수위가 너무 높아지면 carry over 현상이 발생하며 반대로 너무 낮으면 드럼 하부의 과열 및 튜브의 손상을 초래하여 대사고를 유발하게 되므로 드럼수위는 항상 정상으로 유지해야 한다. 드럼수위 제어루프는 처음에는 드림수위만을 제어입력으로 취하는 PI 제어기에 의해 이루어지다가, 주증기량이 일정량 이상 유지되면 드럼수위가 일정한 설정치를 유지하도록 급수량, 드럼수위, 주증기량에 의한 PI-PI 캐스케이드 형태의 제어로 절환되어 제어가 이루어진다. 또한 드럼 수위는 차압검출기에 의해서 측정되어지는데, 드럼의 압력에 따라 물과 증기의 밀도가 변하기 때문에 차압검출기에 의한 드럼수위 지시치는 드럼압력에 의한 보상도 요구되어진다. 본 논문에서는 중용량 화력발전소를 대상으로 드럼수위 보상과 드럼수위 제어기를 구현하고, 적용하여 실제 발전출력 증발시의 드럼수위 제어결과를 보임으로서 구현한 드럼수위 제어기의 효용성을 보인다.

Causes of Top Dead Center Error in Marine Generator Engine Power-Measuring Device (선박용 발전기 엔진 출력 측정 장치의 TDC 오차 발생 원인)

  • Different methods are used for determining the output of engines to obtain the indicated horsepower by measuring the combustion pressure of cylinders, and to obtain the shaft horsepower by measuring the shaft torque. It is difficult to examine the shaft torque using the condition of the cylinder, and the most accurate method used for determining the combustion pressure involves examining the combustion state of the cylinder to evaluate the engine performance and analyze the combustion of the cylinder. During the measurement, the combustion pressure is the most important parameter used for accurately determining the cylinder angle because the cylinder pressure is indicated based on the angle of the crankshaft. In this study, an encoder was used as the crank angle sensor to measure the cylinder pressure on the generator engine of the actual operating ship. The reasons for the differences between the top dead center (TDC) recognized by the encoder (TDCencoder) and the TDC recognized by the compression pressure (TDCcomp) were considered. The dif erences between the TDCcomp and TDCencoder of the cylinders measured at idle running, 25 %, 50 %, and 60 % loads were analyzed to determine for the crankshaft production effect, the crankshaft torsion effect owing to the increased rotational resistance from the increased load, and the coupling damping effect between the engine and generator. It was confirmed that the TDC error occurred up to 3° crank angle as the load of the generator increased.

Biomechanical Comparison of Good and Bad Performances within Individual in Maximum Vertical Jump (최대 수직 점프시 개인내 우수 수행과 비우수 수행의 역학적 비교)

  • The purpose of this study was to find differences of jumping performances within individual and to identify the influencing factors in these differences. 20 male subjects performed 6 maximal vertical jumps. The best(GP) & worst(BP) performance of each subject based on their jump height were compared in further analysis. There was a significant difference of approx. 10% in the jump height between GP and BP, which resulted from height of COM and vertical velocity at the instant of take-off. We could observe a significantly higher ankle moment in the GB more than the BP but no significant differences for the knee and hip joint. Also the maximum power of ankle joints in the GP were significantly higher than that in the BP. According to the results, the mechanical output of knee and hip joint are not as influential as that of ankle joint for difference of performance within individual. In conclusion, the results showed that mechanical output of the ankle joint could be more influential factors on the performances within individual although the knee and hip joint play an important role in the vertical jump. We therefore propose that more emphasis should be placed on the potentiation of the ankle joint for the training of the maximum vertical jump.

Wearable User Interface based on EOG and Marker Recognition (EOG와 마커인식을 이용한 착용형 사용자 인터페이스)

  • Recently many wearable computers have been developed. But they still have many user interface problems from both an input and output perspective. This paper presents a wearable user interface based on EOG(electrooculogram) sensing circuit and marker recognition. In the proposed user interface, the EOG sensor circuit which tracks the movement of eyes by sensing the potential difference across the eye is used as a pointing device. Objects to manipulate are represented human readable markers. And the marker recognition system detects and recognize markers from the camera input image. When a marker is recognized, the corresponding property window and method window are displayed to the head mounted display. Users manipulate the object by selecting a property or a method item from the window. By using the EOG sensor circuit and the marker recognition system, we can manipulate an object with only eye movement in the wearable computing environment.
