An Analysis of Interaction Patterns by Teacher's Role in Mathematics Classrooms (수학교실에서 교사의 역할에 따른 상호작용 패턴 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between teacher's role and interaction patterns in mathematics classrooms. Teacher's role was divided into usual practices with students, usual practices with content and usual practices with students and contents, and interaction patterns were classified into report, inquiry and discussion. The subjects in this study were teachers and students in three fourth- grade classes in T elementary school located in Seoul. After the classes of every math teacher were observed, three teachers who played distinctively unique roles were selected in accordance with the results of the first-semester autonomous supervision, of open class for parents and of the instructional observation. Thus, there was a close relationship between the teacher roles and interaction patterns. And it's concluded that students are able to have a more discussion on each other's ideas in the student-centered classroom, and that teachers should perform active roles in that process. Given the findings of the study, there are some suggestions: First, the teachers appeared to fulfill consistent roles when their videotaped classes, study aids and performance assessment materials were analyzed, and they should play more active roles in mathematics class. Second, they should try to create the kinds of climate that encourages students to come up with ideas in an active manner. Third, earlier studies had focused on student-teacher interaction patterns, but this study found that the roles of the teachers depended on interaction with not only students but study aids and performance assessment materials, and that the interaction patterns hinged on their roles as well. Therefore more profound research efforts should be directed into this issue.

  • 현대의 선박운항에 있어서 선내 노동의 경감과 운항의 안정성 및 경제성 확보를 위하여 선박 자동화 및 원격 조종화가 이루어지고 있다. 또한, 선박조종 및 작업제어를 위하여 컴퓨터를 이용한 통합제어 시스템에 관한 연구도 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 그러나 소형선박 빛 어선과 같은 환경에서의 지능형 시스템에 관한 연구는 많이 부족한 실정이다. 인공지능기법을 이용하여 보다 인간 친화적인 시스템을 구현하고, 음성인식기술을 이용하여 원격으로 선박 조타기를 제어하여 조업자의 부담경감 및 인원절감의 효과를 가져올 수 있는 선박 조종시스템의 개발이 절실하다. 본 논문에서는 PC를 기반으로 하여 원격으로 모형 선박의 조타기를 제어하는 시스템을 구축하였다. 구체적인 연구 방법으로는, 음성인식기술과 지능형 학습 기법을 바탕으로 음성지시기반학습 시스템을 구축하고, 퍼지 조타수 조작모델을 구현하여 PC 기반 원격 제어시스템을 구현하였다. 또한, 구축된 원격 조타제어시스템을 축소된 선박모형(Miniature Ship) 시스템에 적용하여 그 효용성을 확인하였다.

  • 윈도우나 리눅스 등의 일반적인 파일 시스템은 데이터를 로컬 저장 장치에 직접 저장하고 관리하기 때문에 대용량 저장 공간을 기반으로 운영된다. 반면에, 클라우딩을 위한 가상 파일 시스템은 데이터를 로컬 저장 장치에 직접 저장하는 경우보다는 지역적으로 분산된 데이터에 대한 지시자만을 관리하는 경우가 더 많다. 이 연구에서는 소규모 클라우딩 환경에서 파일 시스템의 디렉터리 체계를 DB로 유지하면서 모든 데이터 파일들은 지시자로만 관리하는 유닉스 파일 시스템 스타일의 가상 파일 시스템을 설계하여 제안한다. 시험 결과, 트리 구조의 디렉터리 체계가 의도대로 이루어짐이 확인되었다.

Evaluation of Seawater Intrusion on Costal Groundwater using Systematic Analytical Method (계층적 분석방법을 이용한 해수침투 영향 평가)

  • Seawater intrusion was evaluated using electrical conductivity, chemical proxies, and oxygen isotopic compositions in coastal area. It seems that groundwater in the area where the electrical conductivity is over $3,000{\mu}S/cm$ is influenced by seawater. However, it is very difficult that seawater intrusion is distinguished from other contaminants using the electrical conductivity. The chemical proxies and oxygen and hydrogen isotopic compositions can quantitatively estimate seawater intrusion. However, these method is a costly disadvantage. Therefore, firstly, groundwater contamination by seawater intrusion was evaluated using electrical conductivity and then the additional chemical and isotopic analysis were conducted in areas where possibility of contamination by seawater intrusion is high. These systematic analytical method can reduce analytical cost to quantitatively evaluate influence of seawater intrusion on coastal groundwater and may improve efficiency of analytical method for seawater intrusion.

  • Web servers or web application servers, in general, adopt multi-thread model for efficient handling of many user requests. However, the multi -thread model always does not show the better performance than multi -process model. Sometimes, in a certain specific case, it can show worse performance than multi -process model. In this paper, to trace the cause of the decreased performance of multi -thread model, we experiment and analyze the performance of the multi-thread model by using two approaches. At first, we compare the performance of the multi-process model and multi-thread model for various application environments. Second, we observe the effects of variations of web server's dynamic directives, which are used to increase the flexibility of the web server for various system environments. For the experiments, we integrated a web client simulator, which was written by us, with the Apache 2.0 web server. This paper shows and analyze the results of the experiments.

Geostatistical Simulation of Compositional Data Using Multiple Data Transformations (다중 자료 변환을 이용한 구성 자료의 지구통계학적 시뮬레이션)

  • This paper suggests a conditional simulation framework based on multiple data transformations for geostatistical simulation of compositional data. First, log-ratio transformation is applied to original compositional data in order to apply conventional statistical methodologies. As for the next transformations that follow, minimum/maximum autocorrelation factors (MAF) and indicator transformations are sequentially applied. MAF transformation is applied to generate independent new variables and as a result, an independent simulation of individual variables can be applied. Indicator transformation is also applied to non-parametric conditional cumulative distribution function modeling of variables that do not follow multi-Gaussian random function models. Finally, inverse transformations are applied in the reverse order of those transformations that are applied. A case study with surface sediment compositions in tidal flats is carried out to illustrate the applicability of the presented simulation framework. All simulation results satisfied the constraints of compositional data and reproduced well the statistical characteristics of the sample data. Through surface sediment classification based on multiple simulation results of compositions, the probabilistic evaluation of classification results was possible, an evaluation unavailable in a conventional kriging approach. Therefore, it is expected that the presented simulation framework can be effectively applied to geostatistical simulation of various compositional data.

  • Web applications have different structural characteristics from conventional applications with the structural language or object-oriented language or 4GL. A web application typically consists of server-side script elements which run on web sewers, client-side script elements which run on the client web-browser, HTML elements that contains context. Therefore web applications developer concurrently uses 3 or more development language. Cyclomatic Complexity for Web Application(CCWA) metrics reflected composite complexity of each element. In this paper, we applied cyclomatic complexity for web application metrics with Complexity level indicator to web application. We applied it to 10 web applications that were developed in practical business. High complexity web applications classify into four type(MENU, FORM, CTRL, GEN). This paper has contributed to practical use of engineering approach for web application.

RMR Evaluation by Integration of Geophysical and Borehole Data using Non-linear Indicator Transform and 3D Kriging (암반등급 해석을 위한 비선형 지시자 변환과 3차원 크리깅 기술의 물리탐사 및 시추자료에 대한 적용)

  • 3D RMR (Rock Mass Rating) analysis has been performed by applying the Geostatistical integration technique for geophysical and borehole data. Of the various geostatistical techniques for the integrated data analysis, in this study, we applied the SKlvm (Simple Kriging with local varying means) method that substitutes the values of the interpreted geophysical result with the mean values of the RMR at the location to be inferred. The substitution is performed by the indicator transform between the result of geophysical interpretation and the observed RMR values at borehole sites. The used geophysical data are the electrical resistivity and MT result, and 10 borehole sites are investigated to obtain the RMR values. This integrated analysis makes the interpretation to be more practical for identifying the realistic RMR distribution that supports the regional geological situation.
