An Index Structure for Efficiently Handling Dynamic User Preferences and Multidimensional Data (다차원 데이터 및 동적 이용자 선호도를 위한 색인 구조의 연구)

  • R-tree is index structure which is frequently used for handling spatial data. However, if the number of dimensions increases, or if only partial dimensions are used for searching the certain data according to user preference, the time for indexing is greatly increased and the efficiency of the generated R-tree is greatly reduced. Hence, it is not suitable for the multidimensional data, where dimensions are continuously increasing. In this paper, we propose a multidimensional hash index, a new multidimensional index structure based on a hash index. The multidimensional hash index classifies data into buckets of euclidean space through a hash function, and then, when an actual search is requested, generates a hash search tree for effective searching. The generated hash search tree is able to handle user preferences in selected dimensional space. Experimental results show that the proposed method has better indexing performance than R-tree, while maintaining the similar search performance.

  • 데이터 스트림이란, 빠른 속도로 지속적으로 생성되는 무한한 크기의 방대한 양의 데이터 집합으로 정의된다. 본 연구에서는 데이터 스트림 분석을 위한 데이터 스트림 격자 기반 클러스터링 기법을 제시한다. 주어진 초기 격자셀에 대해, 데이터 객체의 빈도가 높은 범위를 반복적으로 보다 작은 크기의 격자셀로 분할하여 최소 크기의 격자셀, 단위 격자셀을 생성한다. 격자셀에서는 데이터 객체들의 분포에 대한 통계값만을 저장하여, 기존의 클러스터링 기법에 비해 데이터 객체에 대한 탐색없이 효율적으로 클러스터를 찾을 수 있다.

A Study on the Relationship between the Fashion Leadership and the Characteristics of the Shopping-related Behavior (유행선도력과 쇼핑관련특성과의 관계 연구 -쇼핑동기, 지속적 정보탐색, 충동구매와 관련하여-)

  • Fashion is the social process concerned with the spread of a new product from its source to consumer. Fashion leadership may be associated the shopping-related behaviors, such as shopping motives, on-going information search, impulse buying behavior. In order to study the relationship between the fashion leadership and the shopping-related characteristics, Three research problems were set up for the study as follows: Research problem 1: To investigate the fashion leadership. Research problem 2: To analyze the relationship between the fashion leadership and the characteristics of shopping-related behavior. Research problem 3: To analyze the relationship between the fashion leadership and other fashion-related behaviors. After statistical analysis using the SPSSWIN, the following results was found. Fashion leadership approximates the normal distribution curve, and its structure consists of one dimension. Using the factor analysis, the two kinds of shopping motive was confirmed hedonic motive and cognitive motive. Fashion leadership was related to the hedonic shopping motive. Also there were positive associations between the fashion leadership on-going information search behavior, and the impulse buying behavior. And there was significant association between the fashion leadership and expense for clothes and spending time for shopping.

  • The aim of this research is to find out how to cope with and manage environmental uncertainty to be effective. Environmental conditions of complexity and change create a greater need to gather information and to respond based on that information. Despite of the governmental campaign 'creative economy, flourishing culture', governmental subsidies are becoming more unstable. The prosperity of culture means that artists can create great works and people can enjoy them without boundaries. This research investigated Boundary-spanning roles through the strategic formulation and implementation. Key factors of strategy are information and knowledge management. Boundary-spanning roles link and coordinate an organization with important elements in the external environment. It is primarily concerned with the exchange of information to detect and bring into the organization information about changes in the environment and send information into the environment that presents the organization in a favorable light. Two themes in this article are that organizations can learn and adapt to the environment and that organizations can change and control the environment.

Understanding Users' Continuing Use of Hedonic Information Systems (쾌락적 정보시스템의 지속적 사용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the factors affecting users' continuing use of Hedonic Information Systems(HIS). Focusing on users' post-adoption behaviors, this study proposes a research model which incorporates technology acceptance theory into expectation disconfirmation theory and investigates the causal relationship among five factors; perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, disconfirmation, user satisfaction, and continuance intention to use a blog as HIS. The results show that satisfaction is significantly influenced by disconfirmation and post expectations(perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use), and in particular the impact of disconfirmation on user satisfaction is stronger than those of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. The results also indicate that while perceived usefulness and user satisfaction have significant impacts on continuance intention, perceived ease of use does not do so and has only an indirect impact on continuance intention through perceived usefulness and user satisfaction.

A Study on the Job Aptitudity of Fashion Salesperson (패션 판매원의 직무적합성에 관한 연구)

  • The importance of emotional factors like as product aesthetics, branding strategies and service quality is increasing in today's marketplace. At the point of fashion product purchases, emotional factor is mainly related to personal selling. Rasearches related to job aptitudity of fashion salesperson are necessary as their role becoming more serious. This study was designed (1) to determine factors of job aptitudity of fashion salesperson; and (2) to examine relations between job aptitudity of fashion salesperson and other variables: demographics, job statistics, fashion involvement fashion innovativeness, ongoing information searching and job satisfaction. As a result, job aptitudty of fashion salesperson was determined into six dimensions by factor analysis: product knowledge, professionalism, involvement to the present profession, marketing cooperator, customer orientation and self management. Marketing cooperator and product knowledge was relatively !ow compared to other aptitudity factors. This finding suggests that the special education programs including textile/fashion product knowledge and value of field information for fashion salesperson is needed to enhance the integrated fashion marketing. The job aptitudity of salesperson was correlated with fashion involvement, fashion innovativeness, ongoing information searching, and job satisfaction. The job aptitudity-related scales which showed significant relation to job aptitudity in this study could be used as the index to examine the job aptitudity of potential employees of fashion retail company.

The Effects of Ambidextrous Alliance on Firm Performance (양손잡이 제휴(Ambidextrous Alliance)가 기업 성과에 미치는 영향)

  • Alliance formation has been recognized as an important strategy for firms who seek to survive through acquisition of sustainable competitive advantages. Specifically in high-tech industries, firms may consider formation of strategic alliances in order to access valuable external knowledge. These firms tend to be situated in a dilemma that they should choose between exploration and exploitation, which are two types of strategic choices suggested by March (1991). Working out the dilemma has been extensively discussed in the area of strategy or organization learning. Recently, however, an increasing number of studies have stressed on a balance between exploration and exploitation. Regarded as 'ambidextrous organizations' (Lavie and Rosenkopf, 2006), these firms that simultaneously pursue exploration and exploitation have emerged in high-tech industries, and many studies have provided evidence of positive association between organizational ambidexterity and firm performance. In the strategic alliance research, accordingly, scholars began to pay attention to the balanced choice between exploration-and exploitation-oriented alliances. Given these backgrounds, this study examines the relationship between alliance ambidexterity and firm performance. While previous research approached alliance ambidexterity mainly from the number of alliances, our study suggests ambidexterity in terms of alliance portfolio and alliance partner. Our dataset consists of biotechnology or pharmaceutical firms in the United States, which spans time period between 1990 and 2005. We conduct panel data analysis. The results show the strong link between alliance ambidexterity and firm performance, highlighting the balance between exploration and exploitation when firms make strategic decisions.

  • 최근에 지능형 로봇분야에서 주위 카메라를 기반으로 실시간으로 환경인식 및 물체 추적 등 다양한 분야에서 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 환경인식 및 물체 추적은 결국 배경과 관심물체를 분리하는 것이라고 볼 수 있는 데, 차 연산을 이용하여 물체의 움직임만을 배경으로 분리하는 방법과 물체인식을 통해 배경으로부터 분리하여 추적하는 방법에 대한 연구가 지속적으로 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 배경과 물체 사이에서 변화하는 색상의 변화를 퍼지기법을 이용하여 물체를 배경과 분리하여 실시간으로 물체를 추적하고자 한다. 실시간 물체 추적을 위해 전체영상에 대한 전역적 탐색을 통해 여러 후보 물체 중 관심물체를 배경에서 추출 후, 추출된 물체의 크기에 따른 지역탐색을 통하여 물체를 추적하는 방법이다. 그리고 본 논문에서는 ARM프로세서를 이용한 카메라시스템을 제작하여 실시간 추적을 실험하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 파일 시스템을 이용한 모빌 에이전트가 아나라, 분산된 서로 다른 데이터베이스 환경에서 효과적인 데이터 탐색을 위한 디렉토리와 옐로우 페이지를 모빌 에이전트를 이용하여 설계하고 구현하였다. 그리고 개발 환경은 서로 다른 Windows NT와 유닉스 시스템을 혼용하였고, 플랫폼에 독립적인 Java 언어와 통합 모질 에이전트 환경을 지원하는 ASDK를 사용하였다. 이러한 기능을 전투 상황이라는 시나리오에 적용하였다. 신속하게 여러 부대 가용자산 정보를 수집해야 하는 긴박한 상황 속에서 이미 Traffic Jam 상태에 있는 제한되어있는 통신망은 요구하는 속도를 충족시키기 곤란할 것이다. 이러한 상황 속에서 모빌 에이전트의 활발한 활동은 필요한 데이터를 지속적으로 갱신, 탐색 할 것이며, 특히 모빌 컴퓨팅 환경과 결합되어 더욱 효율적인 결과를 나타낼 것이다.
