(1986) and (1987) represent the society of 1980s in which the professional baseball game was initiated to cover the irrational military culture. The love and marriage of sports players were the headlines of the media, and the yearly salary of the players was the hottest issue of conversation. The military culture is represented in the scenes where the coaches train the failures and inapt players in extreme drills. The films pinpoint the absurdity of military culture and win-at-all-costs mentality. The collapse of the dictatorial leadership at the end of the films is a metaphor for the collapse of the fifth Republic of Korea. The episodes where the players talk about contract money, and the trade of players and sports business were a new phenomenon of the 1980's. The fact that Oh Hyesung of chooses love instead of victory deals a big blow to the secular ambition for money, victory and dictatorial leadership. His option provides catharsis for an audience oppressed under military leadership and success driven ideology. On the other hand, Oh Hyesung of dies right at the moment of winning the world champion. He achieves neither love nor success. While Oh Hyesung of is a symbol of pure love and gives spiritual comfort to the audience, Oh Hyesung of gives a sense of hopelessness to the audience. Both of the two sports films reflect the representation of the 1980's but received opposing reviews from audiences.

The purpose of this study was to construct a hypothetic model for the influential theoretical variables for the facial cosmetic resurgery intention of female college students with cosmetic surgery experience and to examine the compatability of the re-surgery intention model with real data. The subjects in this study were 320 selected female college students who had undergone cosmetic surgery. After a survey was conducted from July 15 to September 20, 2014, the answer sheets from 300 respondents were gathered, and the answer sheets from 295 respondents were analyzed except for the five ones that included uncertain answers. As a result, it's ascertained that cognitive dissonance was under the direct influence of post-surgery satisfaction with appearance, self-esteem, subjective norm and lookism.. Self-esteem, subjective norm and lookism had a direct impact on resurgery intention, and self-esteem and lookism affected resurgery intention both in direct and indirect ways through the medium of cognitive dissonance. The findings of the study are expected to provide useful information on the development of nursing intervention programs geared toward promoting physical and mental health.

This articles examines a war of history among American conservatives over the survival strategies of the Republican Party. The traditionalists 'construct' and employ a history originating from Goldwater's libertarianism for criticizing the Bush administration and calling for the restoration of conservative principles of limited, small government. The reformists counter with a history of repeated failures of building "conservatism of the working class."

The purpose of this study is to confirm violence regulation of television. Television programs that infringed the standards of violence and were sanctioned, were analyzed in terms of broadcasting violence standards and the level of sanction imposed, according to network and cable television. The results show that both network and cable television were mainly imposed on sanction of caution and recommendation. And violation of article 36 was most. But there were differences in violation of articles 36, 39, 51 between network and cable television.

The article takes a critical perspective that reunderstanding the canon of Daesoon Thought is necessary to expand its application to the needs of modern society given the rapid speed of societal changes. The key point is the emergence of a cultural ecologism within Daesoon Thought. What is called the cultural ecologism is focused upon the sustainable horizon of unifying culture and ecology in the organic structure of a total-life culture. A reciprocal unity of culture and ecology is characteristic of a coherent whole with an original unitary process in the circle of Nature. Cultural ecologism, therefore, aims at seeking after the sustainability of culture wherein the value of culture is integrated in the grand stream of the ecological spirit of Nature. In the Late Joseon Dynasty, Daesoon Thought paid attention to the Great Opening (開闢) to secure the people's livelihoods and it offered edification concerning anti-feudalism in a dimension of realistic awareness which guided people's lives. The process of the Great Opening functions as a process for the world of the Reordering Works of Heaven and Earth (天地公事) which culminate in the experience the Earthly Paradise (地上仙境) of the Later World (後天). In the cultural ecologism of Daesoon Thought, this course is equivalent to a process of Haewon (grievance-resolution) in the sense of dissolution and reconciliation. From the wide umbrella of cultural ecologism, consequently, it is possible to say that Daesoon Thought can arrive at the reality of the Earthly Paradise (地上仙境) through the Great Opening of the Later World, in which human beings can enjoy the infinite vitality of the universe from within their own finite vitality.

This experiment was carried out to determine the effects of $GA_3$ treatment (concentration: period) to rhizomes before planting on their growth, morphology and yield. $GA_3$ treatment increased the number of shoots, leaves or latent buds, plant height, and leaf length per plant compared with non-treatment. The best treatment concentrations were 50 ppm in stem per plant, 100 ppm in latent bud and rhizome fresh weight per plant and 250 ppm in shoot fresh weight per plant. The number of leaves and roots per plant, plant height and fresh weights of shoot and root were the greatest in one day imbibition of $GA_3$. Numbers of stems and latent buds per plant and rhizome fresh weight, however, were the highest in two day imbibition. In addition, the most rhizomes per land unit were produced in one day imbibition treatment of 100 ppm $GA_3$.

This study was carried out to obtain the basic information for effective conservation and cultivation of Atractylodes japonica Koidz. The soil texture was sandy loam with low pH and high organic matter content compared to general cultivative land. Aerial part growth such as plant height, number of leaf, leaf length and leaf width was the highest in Tongyong indigenous species, but fresh rhizome weight was the highest in Pyongchang. Frequency of light penetration rate was high at $60{\sim}80%$ of full sun-light, but growth was better in high light penetration rate. The correlation between growth characteristics and habitat environment were investigated in 59 districts. Correation among growth characteristics in habitat, fresh rhizome weight was significant with plant height, number of leaf and stem diameter.

This paper analyzes the impact of investment tendency of foreign investor on accounting conservatism. We use the sample of 1,527 firm-year Korea listed companies belonging to non-financial corporate sector during 2014-2016. The results of empirical analyses show that investment horizons of foreign investors has a positive relevance with accounting conservatism. This result indicates that the firm have a long-term foreign investors has a good quality of accounting earning than the firm have a short-term foreign investors. This study that verified the relevance between investment tendency of foreign investor and accounting conservatism is expected to provide useful information by suggesting the need for more incentive for the long-term foreign investors. And we expect a follow-up study focused on the discriminative effect of investment tendency of foreign investor on accounting policy.
