Evaluation of Resource Value on Urban Park - Using Contingent Valuation Method - (가상적 가치추정법(CVM)을 이용한 관광위락자원의 편익가치 분석)

  • With the increasing concern about natural resources that is being devastated and lost its reproductivity, Non-use value of resources for future use is considered more important than the present use value in the resource valuation. This study aims to measure Total Non-use value in Namsan Park, Kwanak and Paldal Mountain with CVM(Contingent Valuation Method). CVM is the method which can evaluate Non-use value of tourism resource to find the future value of the given resource. This study is carried on the assumption that respondents give answers not to real situation but to imaginary circumstances. After analysing benefit value by estimating conservation value and separate use value, we can conclude that conservation value of tourism resource is given much weight.

  • RFID and Kiosk has been acquiring the essential position not only for providing simple information but also as the tool for establishing Ubiquitous based society. Especially it can be said that the time for developing various Kiosks as important methods to conducting marketing and service through the differentiation and easiness on dealing information has come. Considering the present requirement, 'U-Commerce System' has been designed and developed. In the system, the RFID reader installed in 'U-Shop Kiosk System' recognizes the RFID tag on situated the specific products and detail product information and related multimedia advertisement are provided. Moreover, when the customers have the needs to purchase concerned products on the spot, they can pay and order by using credit cards. By employing the system, the amount of stock and delivery condition can be monitored in real time and the gathered information in DB can be used for dealing with stock related matters. In addition, a system can be developed to monitor and manage the remote shops in real time base. Furthermore, to overcome the limit of simple unmanned ubiquitous style Kiosk, the possibility of developing an expansion model of ubiquitous style CRM Kiosk has been suggested.

  • Java card is one of promising smart card platform with java technology. Java card defines necessary packages and classes for Embedded device that have small memory such as smart card Jana card is compatible with EMV that is Industry specification standard and ISO-7816 that is international standard. However, Java card is not offers user authentication protocol. In this paper, We design and implement an user authentication protocol applicable wireless devices based on Java Card using standard 3GPP Specification (SMS), Java Card Specification (APDU), Cryptography and so on. Our Java Card user authentication techniques can possibly be applied to the area of M-Commerce, Wireless Security, E-Payment System, Mobile Internet, Global Position Service, Ubiquitous Computing and so on.

  • A hybrid information service may include local and/or remote distributed services, both and electronic. Also, a hybrid information service can be described as one which an appropriate range of heterogeneous information services is presented to the user in a consistent and integrated way via a single interface. The purpose of this study is to suggest high-level requirements and logical architecture to design hybrid library. High-level requirements analysis for hybrid library need to contain baseline requirements, basic system requirements, searching, location, requesting, delivery and payment. A logical architecture need to consider logical architecture for hybrid library management system including user access points, hybrid library management system and hybrid library components and 5 layered architecture including presenter, coordinator, mediator, communicator and provider to achieve local simplicity while still supporting complex functionality of hybrid library.

To reflect these points in smartphone users to easily use their own vehicles at a time to determine the status of a system that is required. In this paper, OBD-II protocol conversion WiFi OBD-II connector, retrieving information from the driver of the vehicle replacement cycle of consumables required vehicle inspection, vehicle problems in real-time diagnostic information to the user ease of use shows the iPhone implementation in the automotive supply was implemented based on the smartphone.

A Study on Determining Fares for Rail Transit in Tour Regions Using a Stepwise Optimization (단계적 최적화 기법을 통한 관광지역 내 궤도교통수단의 요금결정 연구)

  • Fare is critical variable when deciding project feasibility for a monorail system in tour regions. This study aims to estimate optimal fare balancing operators and users. An object of this study is Wolmi-eunha circulation monorail at Jung-Gu, Wolmido in Incheon metropolitan city. This study introduces a stepwise optimization technique to decide relevant fare ranges between operator's cost and user's cost. We found that the optimized station interval is 0.532km, the optimized headway is 0.206hour, optimal number of stations is 12, optimal number of vehicles is 3. Using these optimized variables, minimum user cost and minimum operator cost can be calculated. Optimal fare range is calculated from 1,261 Won to 5,063 Won. It is also found that sightseeing transport system has less sensitivity on access cost because distance differences among sightseeing transport stations located in the tour regions are negligible.

  • This paper proposes the location acquisition methods and LBS(location-based services) system using RFID(radio frequency identification) tags with location information in ubiquitous city. Location information is checked using RFID tags attached to various buildings. stores and road signs. And various LBSs are provided based on the location information. Traditionally, when the location information is obtained by a GPS, the precision of the location information may deteriorate due to geographical displacement of a satellite and GPS receivers, for example shadow zone by building, in-door environment, and heavy cloud. The objective of this paper is to provide a ULID(universal location identification) data structure, a ULID-based location acquisition method and an LBS system, in which precise location information is extracted using RFID tags attached to various buildings, stores and road signs and ULID and also danger of information leakage is minimized so that an LBS of ubiquitous environment can be provided to a user.

A Study of Industrial and Firm's Strategic Factors Affecting Diffusion of Convergent Media - The Case of Global IPTV Services (융합미디어 확산에 영향을 주는 산업, 기업전략 요소에 관한 연구 - 해외 IPTV 실증분석)

  • The study aims to explore industrial and firms' strategic factors affecting diffusion of digital convergence by studying major global IPTV markets. Market and firm variables are selected using the Industrial Organization's SCP approach. Data for the variables are collected from global 31 IPTV operators representing 20 countries. The analysis indicates that the penetration of broadband Internet and the market share of a dominant player in the Pay TV positively affect the penetration of the IPTV service, whereas the penetration of Pay TV, ARPU, firms' strategy and resource do not have influence on its penetration. The study is the cross-country analysis and contributes to the media study by exploring the relationship between market variables and the development of convergent media. Consequently, the study is expected to help policy makers tailor their digital policy for local environment.

  • Smartphones which represent to the Mobile convergence, is the rapid spread, more than half of Korean are using. Accordingly, mobile apps that run on smartphone market is growing at a rapid pace. However, most studies on smartphone and mobile apps are focusing on the technology acceptance and improvement of function. So, this study is to suggest promotion strategy to each mobile apps, analyzed through three phases. First phase is the frequency analysis that deduct most frequently used mobile apps. Second phase is association rules that found to associate between mobile apps. Finally, to analyze deduction techniques for acquired 5 mobile apps to target variable in pre-2 phase use total 35 variables of 20 mobile apps categories, demographic variables, amount of PC, movie, music, book, game usage and fees per month.

  • This study was investigated the necessity and possibility of using block-chain technology in online used-goods trading platform. Current online used-goods trading platforms operate a safety trading system, but it is difficult to utilize due to relatively high commission rate. As a result, people mainly use the method of meeting and purchasing in person, which is a relatively costly method. This study discusses how to build a platform to solve or mitigate problems such as privacy, information distortion and omission, fraud, etc. In the platform proposed in this study, it is possible to solve the major fraud and personal information protection problems that may occur in the transaction proceeding by appropriately reflecting the types and characteristics of the block-chain technology. In future work, we will discuss legal framework and technology development plan to apply the proposed platform in this study.
