The socio-economic and environmental systems of world are in turmoil. International conflicts are placed in their geographical context through the integration of maps. Changes in the world political map have often been the outcome of wars and conflicts associated with major geopolitical transitions. We identify five basic types--proto-nationalism, unification nationalism, separation nationalism, liberation nationalism and renewal nationalism. Political leaders in a wide range of contexts have been able to appeal to the nationalist doctrine to justify their actions. In recent years indigenous peoples have found a new voice in their struggle for survival. Although colonial empire's ending followed long and bloody struggles in some places. We really cannot understand the modem world as a whole if we do not understand the dynamic of that part of it which has endured and struggled against colonialism. The patterns of the international conflicting area are divided internal conflict type, mixed conflict type, international conflict type. The formation factors of the international conflicting area are divided ethnic group, religion, colonialism, resource, territory. There has recently been a resurgence of Islam's importance in world affairs. The oil crises of the 1970s gave new international leverage to several Muslim states.

우리나라 재벌기업은 소유집중에 의한 소유경영과 비관련사업다각화를 경영의 특징으로 하고 있으며 정부는 경제력집중의 완화와 재벌기업의 경쟁력 제고를 위하여 공정거래법 등을 통하여 소유분산과 업종전문화를 지속적으로 추진해 왔다. 본 연구는 이러한 정부의 재벌정책에 방향을 제시코자 재벌기업의 기업지배형태를 고찰하고 30대 재벌기업의 1997년 자료를 이용하여 그룹차원과 개별기업차원으로 나누어 재벌기업의 소유구조 결정요인을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과 그룹차원에서 소유구조결정요인은 상장비중을 제외하고는 뚜렷한 요인이 식별되지 않아 그룹차원에서는 대주주가 지분관리를 하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 개별 기업차원에서는, 먼저 대주주의 총지분은 개별기업의 특성과는 거의 무관하게 결정되는 것으로 나타났으나, 개인의 지분은 상장후 경과년수 및 기업규모와 부의 유의적인 관계를 나타내었으며 법인지분은 기업규모와는 무관하나 상장후 경과년수와는 오히려 정의 유의적인 관계를 보였다. 또한 주력기업에 대하여는 대주주가 개인지분을 높게 유지하려는 경향이 있음도 드러났다. 또한 총지분을 종속변수로 사용한 경우의 모형의 설명력이 개인지분이나 법인지분을 종속변수로 사용한 경우에 비해 현저히 낮게 나타나 향후의 소유구조 결정요인에 대한 연구에 있어서 종속변수로서 총지분을 사용하고자 하려면 면밀한 사전분석이 필요함이 시사되었다.

인도 지역을 제외한 아시아에서 기마부대는 오랫동안 전장을 지배하여 왔으나, 아시아의 기마부대가 그리스, 마케도니아 및 로마의 훈련된 보병부대를 언제나 격파한 것은 아니었다. 그러나 이 시기에는 여러 가지 요인들로 인하여 기마부대가 유럽에서 점차적으로 그 중요성을 더하여 가게 하였고, 아시아에서처럼 유럽에서도 기마병이 최고라는 사실이 378년의 Adrianople 전투에서 분명히 밝혀졌다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the way that power in cyberspace is constructed and work and the factors that contribute to forming the power by analyzing a bulletin board system(BBS) on an everyday drama, "Can't Take My Eye Off You"(MBC). Research findings are as follows. The participants in the BBS produce various discourses and constantly compete with each other. In the process, the participants who produce a dominant discourse in quantity tend to exclude other discourses from the BBS and the participants who produce the minority discourses sometimes resist the dominant discourse but tend to refrain from expressing the minority discourses. These tendencies have intensified, and eventually the dominant discourse overwhelmingly powers over the BBS at the end of it. The dominant discourse in the BBS is confucian patriarchal one and this is primarily due to the characteristic of the BBS as the fandom of the drama, the participants' experience and dominant culture in their embodied social world, and the authorship of the drama.

This Study investigated the differences of risk assessment tool and personality assessment inventory (PAI) by recidivism types of juvenile delinquents, the psychological factors that have a influence of juvenile behaviors. 268 incipient Juvenile criminals who had committed crime in the areas of Seoul, were categorized in the three degree of recidivism types. The result showed the significant differences among risk assessment tool, such as family functioning risk factor, school risk factor, away-from-home risk factor, delinquent risk factor, and personal risk factor. PAI scores among the recidivism type showed the significant differences on SOM, DEP, PAR, SCZ, BOR, ANT, ALC, DRG, AGG, SUI, STR, NON, DOM, and WRM. The predictor variables explained a risk assessment tool were STR, ALC, DEP, DOM and WRM in PAI scales. And the interventions and preventions about juvenile delinquents discussed in psychological aspects.

With respect to the cause of asymmetric cost behavior, there are two streams of the literature. One stream focused on effect of managerial expectation and the other explained using agency system. In this study, we aim to investigate the determinants of asymmetric cost behavior in these streams. We first examine the impact of managerial overconfidence and optimistic bias on asymmetric cost. We also examine ownership ratio as a proxy of the quality of corporate governance effects on asymmetric cost. The results are as follows. First, firms have the anti-sticky asymmetric cost behavior. Second, we find that the firms with managerial optimistic bias mitigate the degree of asymmetric cost. This finding implies that managerial optimism is a factor that alters asymmetric cost behavior. Third, the degree of asymmetric cost is weaker in case of firms with higher manager's ownership. This result provides an important empirical evidence for understanding the role of corporate governance in cost behavior.

With the intention of revealing that biological determinism is not the truth verified as scientific facts but ideology which conceals or reproduces the white male-centered social order of western capitalism, this article considered the peculiarities of human being from a perspective of cultural anthropology and examined the social contexts of biological determinism. From these studies, it found that the human is not born, but rather become, that biological determinism, from phrenology and social evolutionism to social biology and IQ determinism, emerged for the breakthrough of crisis in which a number of disclosed social contradictions drove the established ruling order into a collapse, and that it cannot but function as dominant ideology rationalizing racial, ethnic, class and gender discriminations. Hence, bioscience must overcome biological determinism in order to be the hope of both all people and all sort of life. But it is without the transformation of unequal structures that the problem of biological determinism cannot be surmountable at all.

At this paper, we investigate two factors of market aspects, such as market power perspective and market efficiency perspective, as influential factors on size of slotting allowances of new products. Also, our research might examine the effects of slotting allowances of new products on both performance of new products and consumer prices. For the empirical research, we analysis 128 domestic manufacturers. In result, there is a positive relationship between retailers' brand equity and the size of slotting allowances. However, there is a negative relationship between retailer replaceability and the size of slotting allowances. Also, the effect of transaction period is negative direction and the effect of the environment uncertainty is positive direction. And the effect of the scale of the slotting allowance of new products is positive direction on the performance of the manufacturers and the price of new products. And, the theoretical and practical implications of this result and future research were suggested.

The one of the big issues in fixed markets is the investment of next generation networks. The nation-wide incumbent has provided the copper cable based access networks in so far. However in the future multiple providers participant in investing network in first stage of the network investment like mobile networks. Each NRA makes efforts on the resolving construction cost of civil engineering costs through the opening conduits. To smooth operation, information opening service is needed then NRAs must determined the level of opened information and cost of usage information and so on. This paper proposed the alternation of the issues to boost the investment of the next generation networks.
