Can Maruca vitrata (Lepidoptera: Crambidae) Over-winter in Suwon Area? (콩명나방(Maruca vitrata)은 수원지방에서 월동할 수 있는가?)

  • Maruca vitrata is a main insect pest against crops of Vigna species (V. angularis and V. radiata) and Sesbania sesban in Fabaceae, but the life cycle of the insect is unclear in Korea. In order to know over-wintering possibility, its stage of the insect, over-wintering entry season, and the first adult emergence season of the next year, we investigated over-wintering rates of the insect in outdoor conditions in Suwon ($37^{\circ}16^{\prime}N$ $126^{\circ}59^{\prime}E$ 35ASL). In all colonies which the rearing for larvae, pupae and eggs started after mid-September, adults did not emerge within the year, and all insects died before next June. In several trials for over-wintering of larvae and pupae in soil, all insects died, too. Larvae stored during specified periods at low temperatures (10 and $13^{\circ}C$) did not emerge. From the results, it was postulated that M. vitrata does not have an adaptability to temperature below zero, and cannot over-winter in Suwon area.

  • In general, most of the firms do not settle down in one place for their pursuit of profit. There are many reasons for the relocation of the firms; procurement of raw material, market area, transportation cost and housing cost. The aspect of national policy, firm relocation has been systemically promoted for the purpose of logistics system efficiency. Nowadays balanced regional development has been issue. Another aspect, many countries have struggled for the preoccupancy of new place because of its production cost saving and curtailment of expenditure. The aim of this article is qualitative and quantitative analysis of relocation influence factors of domestic goods firms in Korea. This article dynamically analyzed the relocation influence factors for domestic goods firms in Korea. For the analysis this article made use of complementary survey (2006) out of the 3rd national logistics survey (2005). The complementary survey conducted pre-business district, business period, relocation reason, etc. This article dynamically analyzed from the three aspects; observation of average residence time in one business district, relocation factors, influence of market area. Analysis shows that relocation of firm is very high rate and the reasons of relocation play compositeness role. The results of determinants of location, firms approach the established market area closely and the firm's relocation is influenced by market area.

The Policy of Park Asset Transfers in England: A Move toward Community Ownership and Park Management (커뮤니티의 공원 소유와 관리·운영 방안으로서 영국의 공원 커뮤니티자산이전 정책)

  • Recently, the ways in which individual communities own and manage parks have been both discussed and realized in America and England. Some benefits of these asset transfers are that local governments can reduce the financial cost of management as well as improve the service of the parks. In addition, communities can develop these parks as unique assets. Ultimately, this is a new understanding of parks as community commons. This study examines the policy of park asset transfers to communities in England. These transfers, which involve reallocating land and building management and/or ownership from the public sector to a community group, are part of a policy agenda known as "Big Society", which aims to create a "small government" within a "big society". The agenda is pursued by both the English Conservative and Unionist Party governments. Eight case studies of community park asset transfers in England were examined in this study, under three categories-transfer process, partnership among stakeholders, and financial structure-and synthesized along three issues-financial contribution, level of public transparency, and closeness of the relationship between park and community. In some cases, new community groups were created specifically to receive park assets, while in other communities, existing groups became the park trustees. For most parks, community groups raise park maintenance funding through diverse methods; however, these groups are often not entirely financially independent from local government. Thus, many park trustees have already created, or are planning to create, other assets from which parks can benefit. Second, some efforts for public transparency include trusts that are registered as charities, of which their public nature is admitted officially. These trusts resolve important decisions through boards of trustees, in an effort to promote income-generating business while not excluding users. Ultimately, a close relationship between park and community empowers the community to participate in managing and maintaining the park; in turn, the park's capacities are improved. Current struggles include the many limits involved in communities accepting ownership and management of a park, and a lack of local government experience regarding public-private management and maintenance of a public asset. This study, however, details interesting policy implications for Korean community involvement as well as diverse financial methods to facilitate park management.

Effect of Drying Conditions of Steamed Egg Yolk on Acid Value of Duck Egg Yolk Oil (증자 난황 건조 조건이 오리 난황유 산가 변화에 미치는 영향)

  • It is very important to minimize the acid value of oil in the oil and fat industry, because acid value of oil products are a indicator quality. This study was performed to investigate change of moisture content, acid value and free fatty acid content by drying condition such as drying method, temperature and drying time on steamed duck egg york. Also, change of fatty acid composition by acid value. The acid values, moisture contents and free fatty acid contents were showed comparatively lower value by spray drying and freeze drying than by steam drying. but difference that keep in mind between each drying method was not looked. Whereas moisture content, acid value and free fatty acid content of effect of drying temperature reaches in lowest value. also, did not show change until dry 12hours reaching to lowest value by 3.1, 3.0% and 0.98% after dry 9hours both moisture content, acid value and free fatty acid content. Also, acid value increase, free fatty acid was increased, where unsaturated fatty acid showed that decrease rapidly.

Determination of Instream Flow Requirement for Small Mountainous Watershed Using SWAT (SWAT을 이용한 산지 소유역의 하천유지유량 산정방안)

  • 본 연구에서는 안양천 중상류 유역에 대해 SWAT 모형을 이용하여 현재(2000년)의 토지이용 및 지하수 취수량(2000년)을 토대로 유황곡선을 도출하고 개발이전의 토지이용(1975년)과 지하수 취수가 전혀 없는 이상적인 상태에서 유황곡선을 도출하여 비교분석하였다. 또한 기존의 갈수량과 항목별 필요유량을 비교하여 큰 값으로 하천유지유량을 설정한 것과 본 연구에서 수행한 유황들을 비교하였다. 그 결과 오전, 삼성, 삼막, 수암천의 경우 현재의 상태와 이상적인 상태의 갈수량이 전혀 변화하지 않음을 보였으며 삼성, 삼막천은 두 경우 모두 갈수량이 0임을 확인할 수 있었다. 이는 대상유역의 유역면적이 작은 지방2급 하천일 뿐만 아니라 경사가 급한 산간지역이 대부분을 이루어서 개발 전에도 기저유출이 많지 않았기 때문이다. 또한 하천유지유량을 항목별 필요유량으로 산정한 경우는 모든 유역에서 이상적인 상황의 저수량보다 큰 값을 보였다. 따라서 지방2급 하천과 같이 유역면적이 작거나 산지하천의 경우에도 일률적으로 갈수량이나 항목별 필요유량을 비교하여 큰 값으로 하천유지유량을 설정하기보다는 수문모의모형을 이용하여 대상유역에 대해 자연적인 상황에서의 갈수량 또는 저수량 등 다른 적절한 방안을 사용하는 것이 바람직하다.

  • 2003년 8원 북미 북동부지역 광역정전에 이어 영국과 말레시아, 이태리에서도 대규모 정전이 발생하여 지진, 태풍에 버금가는 사회적인 혼란과 경제적인 피해를 초래했다. 이러한 광역 정전사고는 학내 전력산업계에도 상당한 충격과 시사점을 제공했고, 정부와 전력거래소 주도하에 대정전의 원인과 이를 방지하기 위한 권고치에 대한 다각적인 검토와 보완이 이루어지고 있다. 이 보완사항에는 대규모 정전을 막기 위해 필수적인 대규모 발전소 및 변전소에 계통안정화장치의 설치, 통신규격의 표준화, 인격 취득자료의 정확도를 유지하기위한 전력시장운영규칙의 개정 능의 제도적인 지원뿐만 아니라 급전원에 대한 주기적인 교육을 통해 상황대처능력을 향상시키기 위한 노력 등 대정전을 예방하기위해 전력산업 전반에 걸쳐 다양한 개선과 노력이 이루어지고 있다. 이에 대한 노력과 함께 전력거래소는 후비급전소를 천안으로 이설 중에 있고, 공공기관 지방이전 시에 신규로 중앙급전소를 설치 할 예정이다. 본 논문은 위에서 언급한 광역정전을 예방하고, 전력계통을 안전하고 효율적으로 운영하기위한 중앙급전소를 설계할 때 고려해야 할 사항에 대해 논하고자 한다.

  • Regional construction management offices and local administrations have set up the fundamental plan for river improvement works respectively for the national level, and local 1st and 2nd level rivers for the purpose of river management, use, development, disaster mitigation, and water quality conservation on the annual basis. Enormous number of reports and river registers have been produced. However, the products before 2003 are not well managed so that frequent users have toubles in using these information. In this paper, Information Service System on the Fundamental Planning Report for River Improvement Works developed in 2005 is introduced.

  • Due to rapid climate changing and the need for energy conservation, environment friendly initiatives have emerged, and regulations to support establishment of green structures in construction have been legislated and enacted. In this study, the supporting of green build method act for rapid climate change and energy conservation. Using green build method, protecting surrounding ecosystem and developing green building continuously, I suggest alternative for protection of the environment. Identifies Envelope Design Elements among various construction Green Building Design Guidelines. Green buildings that we extract the Green Building envelope design from Design Guideline, select the object building through the green buildings examples of public institution relocation projects. Since then analyzes the planned schematic design and Green Envelope Design Elements and Green Building Certification(G-SEED). So, that future directions for planning correlation of Green Building and Design Guidelines about Green Design Elements Can be presented.

  • 도시확산과 지방분권화의 시대적 추세는 도시경제 및 교통-토지이용모형의 구조에 도 영향을 미치고 있다. 첫째, 도시의 공간적 확산과 고밀도화로 인한 도시내 제반 경제.사 회활동이 이전보다는 훨씬 다양해지고 복잡해지고 있다. 둘째, 지방분권화로 인해 대도시내 작은 지역단위별 주민들이 자신의 지역문제에 대한 관심과 요구들이 증가하고 있다. 또한 대부분의 도시계획 및 정책은 대도시내 공간적으로 뿐만 아니라 서로 다른 이익집단에 상이 한 영향을 미치는 것으로 파악되고 있다. 이러한 요인으로 인해 대도시 모형은 1) 도시내 제반활동의 흐름을 체계적으로 분석할 수 있어야 하며, 2) 도시계획 및 정책의 효과를 도시 내 세분화된 공간별, 업종별로 분석할 수 있어야 한다. 본 연구는 Wilson의 모형에 도시내 중요한 경제활동인 통근과 shopping변수를 추가하여 Wilson의 모형이 대도시모형으로 이용 될 때 발생하는 문제를 해결하였다. 또한 모형을 구성함에 있어 Matrix Inversion과 Non-linear Programming Model의 두 가지 방법을 도입하고 그 장단점을 비교하였다. Matrix Inversion의 경우 해 (Solution)을 찾기가 쉬워 실질적이고 승수계산과정에서 각 Round마다 승수의 크기를 알 수 있는 반면 Programming을 통한 모형의 경우 제약식의 도 입이 용이하고 목적함수의 형태를 바꾸는 것이 가능하므로 이론적 기틀을 세우는데 유리한 접근방법으로 분석되었다.

Development of Weight Estimation Equation and Weight Table in Pinus densiflora Stand (Kangwon and Centr al Distr icts) (소나무(강원지방·중부지방) 중량추정식 및 중량표 개발)

  • This study was conducted to derive the fresh weight and dry weight estimation formulas of Pinus densiflora and prepare a weight table using them. Aone-variable formula using only the diameter at breast height (DBH) and a two-variable formula using DBH and height were used to calculate the fresh and dry weight. Each equation was verified using statistics, such as fit index, standard error, and residuals. Theoptimal equation was evaluated for applicability by calculating the weight as a coefficient derived from a statistical verification. W = bD+cD2 was selected for the one-variable equation, while W = aDbHc was selected for the two-variable equation. The fit index of the former was 0.87-0.92, while that of the latter was 0.94-0.98, both of which showed a good fit. A new weight table was prepared using the optimal estimation formula, and it was compared and analyzed with a previous weight table. Analysis results showed that Gangwon pine had higher values in the previous weight table, while pines in the central region had higher values in the newly created weight table.
