Most of the existing statistical models of software manpower profile are based on the assumptions of the usage and development process. Therefore, there is no universally applicable estimation and prediction model. To develop a prediction model, this paper suggests the predictive filter as a prediction model for software manpower profile. Firs of all, we investigate the software manpower profile and we suggest the input-output of predictive filter and method for parameter determination. Then, its usefulness is empirically verified by analyzing the actual data obtained from the software projects. Based on the average relative prediction error and Pred(0.25), the suggested predictive filter is compared with other well-known statistical estimation models. As a result, the predictive filter generally has a simple structure and on the other hand, it adapts the software manpower profile very well.

This paper suggests a service model which uses a wireless sensor network in home network environment. The sensor network consists of fixed sensor nodes and user identification nodes which is attached to each user. With the input information of the user preference profile and the collected data from the sensor nodes, the database is constructed as a context information and analyzed by a home server to provide a service that establishes and controls automatically home appliances according to each user's preference. The proposed service model is implemented and tested on a Linux server with MySQL database and sensor nodes on TinyOS.

This research is to develop product retrieval system through simplified communication by applying intelligent agent technology based on automatically created domain ontology to present solution on problems with e-commerce system which searches in the web documents with a simple keyword. Ontology development extracts representative term based on classification information of international product classification code(UNSPSC) and jewelry websites that is applied to analogy relationship thesaurus to establish standardized ontology. The intelligent agent technology is applied to retrieval stage to support efficiency of information collection for users by designing and developing e-commerce system supported with semantic web. Moreover, it designs user profile to personalized search environment and provide personalized retrieval agent and retrieval environment with inference function to make available with fast information collection and accurate information search.

The research of science and engineering needs the latest information from internet resources. But it is a complex and repeated procedure to search and filter web documents from the huge Internet resources. In this paper, we propose the PREA system, which can organize the research paper databases and search World Wide Web documents that the user is interested in. It observes the usage of the local Paper databases and presented web documents and then constructs a profile intelligently. However, to make a profile, we used the modified spreading activation network(MSAN) so that the PREA can search and filter web documents by semantic meaning of user's interest in realtime. The system constructed in multi-agents manner that can cooperate together effectively. The results show the effectiveness of our system to search web documents compared with a commercial search engine.

디지털 방송화에 따라 사용자 개인을 위한 방송 서비스에 대한 관심이 늘고 있다. 본 논문에서는 에이전트 표준화 단체인 FIPA의 규격을 따르는 에이전트 플랫폼과 TVAF 및 MPEG-7규격을 따른 메타데이터 기술을 이용하여 사용자의 선호도와 프로파일을 기반한 지능형 서비스를 제공하는 방송 시스템을 위한 멀티 에이전트 시스템을 제안한다.

현재의 정보 과적재(information overload) 상황은 대량의 정보 가운데서 사용자의 관련 정보에 대한 요청을 도와 불필요한 정보로부터 막기 위한 도구가 매우 필요한 실정이다. 이러한 도구중 대표적으로 사용되는 웹 검색 엔진과 같은 정보 검색 시스템의 단점은 적합한 검색용어를 선택해야만 하는 점과, 결과에 대한 효율적인 요약이 제공되지 않는다는 점이다.따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 검색 엔진에서의 단점을 보완하여 사용자를 정보 과잉 상황에서의 불필요한 정보로부터 보호하기 위해, 사용자의 프로파일을 기반으로 하여 정보를 개인화된 요약과 함께 제공하는 정보 여과 에이전트(information filtering agent)인 '사용자 맞춤의 문서 요약을 제공하는 정보 여과 에이전트 시스템'을 제안한다.

Important issues emerging with the opening of the ubiquitous age are how to present ubiquitous environment and how services and access methods can be provided to users. The present research proposes a system that can provide users with useful information dynamically through intelligent multi agents in mobile environment. The system is composed of profile module, rule generation module, filtering module and service module. It was designed to find users' demands in an intelligent way based on information on users registered through the recommendation agent. We implemented an applied system and proved its performance through an experiment.

개인 환경 서비스는 휴대폰에 개인이 선호하는 생활정보 프로파일을 미리 설정하면, 휴대폰과 생활기기에 장착된 WPAN 장치와 이동통신망, 인터넷망, 서비스 서버 등이 연동되어, 지능적으로 생활환경을 구축하는 서비스이다. 본 논문에서는 개인 환경 서비스의 상세 서비스 내용과 사업모델에 대한 연구 결과가 기술되었다.

분산컴퓨팅 환경에서 사용자는 원하는 정보 획득을 위하여 지능형 에이전트를 정보 습득 도구로 사용한다. 현재의 에이전트들은 객관적인 구조와 서비스를 제공하기 때문에 각 사용자별 다양한 요구사항을 수용할 수 없는 한계를 가지고 있다. 이 문제점을 해결하기 위해 사용자의 요구와 개별적인 특성을 반영하고, 사용자의 관심사항과 행위를 학습하여 보다 효율적인 검색 결과를 제공하는 개인 웹 에이전트들이 연구.개발되고 있다. 본 연구는 사용자의 기호에 부합하는 정보만을 검색하여 사용자에게 제공할 뿐 아니라 사용자의 선호도에 효 과적으로 적응할 수 있는 정보 검색 에이전트를 위한 사용자 행위정보를 활용한 사용자 프로파일 학습방법을 제안한다. 시간경과에 따른 사용자의 기호 변화를 선행적으로 관리하는 잠재력을 제공한다. 또한 웹 문서를 대상으로 실험하여 제안한 방법의 성능을 검증한다.

인터넷 이용자의 폭발적인 증가와 기술의 발전으로 홈 네트워크 기술은 급속한 성장을 이루고 있는 추세이다. 본 연구팀이 기존에 연구한 스마트 홈 서버 아키텍처에서는 사용자에게 제공하기 위한 가전 서비스 예측을 위하여 감독형 패턴분석기와 규칙기반 패턴분석기 그리고 사용자감정 분석기를 사용하였다. 그러나 효율적인 홈 서비스를 위해 사용자, 가전기기, 센서장비 등의 데이터베이스를 관리하는 방안에 대해서는 충분한 제시를 하지 않았다. 본 논문에서는 세부 모듈로써 홈 네트워크 시스템 사용자에게 개인화된 서비스를 제공하는 사용자 프로파일 관리 컴포넌트를 설계하며 개선점을 제시한다.
