웹서비스는 개방성.호환성.재활용성.유연성등 이기종 시스템간의 호환성이 뛰어나 분산연동을 위한 차세대 대안책으로 급부상하고 있다. 또한, XML을 기반으로하여 개발언어나 플랫폼에 종속되지 않고 다수의 개발업체가 참여하여 핵심 표준(SOAP, WSDL, UDDI)이 폭넓게 수용되고 채택돼 동적인 연동을 통한 분산 서비스를 지원한다. 그러나, 실제적으로는 요청체계에서 서비스 서버의 고정화로 인해 동적인 연동이 제한을 받는다는 것은 주지의 사실이다. 본고에서는 고정된 지원서버의 서비스제공이 불가한 경우에서도 유사도 개념을 도입한 UDDI의 유사 시스템을 제공할 수 있는 지능형 동적바인딩을 제안한다.

분산 환경에서의 자원 및 서비스를 활용하여 응용 시스템을 구축하기 위한 패러다임으로서 다중 에이전트 구조가 많아 연구되어 왔다. 이 논문에서는 다양한 자원 및 서비스를 개방적으로 활용하기 위해, 웹서비스의 개방적인 환경을 활용하여 에이전트 및 웹서비스 객체를 효과적으로 이용할 수 있도록 하는 개방형 다중 에이전트 시스템 구조에 대해서 소개한다.

현재 웹의 패러다임은 정적인 웹 페이지들의 모임에서부터 기업이 비즈니스를 더 신속하고 효율적으로 수행할 수 있게 하는 웹 서비스라는 동적인 웹으로 변화하고 있다. 이를 위하여 XML을 기반으로 하는 SOAP WSDL, UDDI, WSFL, XLANG, BPML. WSCL, WSCI 및 BPEL4WS 등과 같은 다양한 표준들과 더 불어 시맨틱 웹과 온톨로지를 기반으로 하는 컴퓨터에 의해서 자동으로 이해될 수 있는 방법으로 웹 서비스를 언급하는 UPML. WSMF 및 DAML-S와 같은 연구들이 최근에 대두되고 있다. 우리는 이 논문에서 시맨틱 웹을 기반으로 하는 지능형 웹 서비스를 가능하게 하기 위하여 새로운 시맨틱 웹 서비스 마크업 언어를 설계하기 위한 전략들을 제시한다. 이를 위하여 먼저 지능형 웹 서비스를 위한 서비스 마크업 언어의 요구사항들을 분석하고, 기존 웹 서비스를 위한 표준들과 연구들을 비교하고 분석한다. 그리고 효과적인 지능형 웹 서비스를 위한 새로운 마크업 언어의 설계를 위한 방법론을 제시한다. 이 논문의 연구결과들은 시맨틱 웹을 기반으로 하는 지능형 웹 서비스를 위한 마크업 언어의 필요성 및 기존 노력들의 문제점들을 지적함으로써 보다 개선된 웹 서비스를 위한 근간으로 사용될 수 있다. 뿐만 아니라 기존 연구들이 추후 보완해나가야 할 사항들을 언급함으로써 보다 향상된 지능형 웹 서비스의 실현을 가능하게 한다.

최근 소프트웨어의 생명 주기가 점점 짧아지고 있으며 시장의 요구에 수용하면서 빠르게 변화 하도록 소프트웨어를 만들어야 할 것이다. 하지만 변화가 생길 때 마다. 새로운 소프트웨어를 만든다는 것은 많은 작업을 요구하는 일이 될 것이기 때문에 소프트웨어에 적응성은 중요한 이슈이다. 본 논문에서는 로봇에 초점을 맞추어 로봇이 적응성을 가지기 위해 표준 기술인 웹 서비스를 사용한다. 웹 서비스의 전형적인 표준 발견 기술은 UDDI 레지스트리에 의존하며 서비스를 찾을 때 기초적인 정보만을 사용하기 때문에 원하는 기능의 서비스를 찾는 것이 어렵다는 단점을 가지고 있다. 그래서 본 논문에서는 웹 서비스를 통해 로봇이 요구하는 컴포넌트를 발견하기 위해 기존의 UDDI를 변경하지 않고 확장된 검색을 지원하는 발견기법을 제안하고 이를 구현한 EWS를 소개한다.

A Semantic Web based service description is to enable intelligent matchmaking of services by improving representational flexibility and expressiveness in service description for Web Services. Flexibility concerns the way of how a computer handles the discrepancies in the granularity and the structure of service description between different participants of web services. Expressiveness means richness in the semantic description of services (or ontological representation of each service as a concept). The main shortcoming of currently available industry standard framework for e-commerce such as UDDI and ebXML is that they do not allow much flexibility and expressiveness in the service description. In our research we analyze the requirements of extending service description based on the Semantic Web, especially in the context of DAML-S. We also propose a method to be applied to implement intelligent web services by implementing a virtual auction site, testAuction.com. Finally, we consider some theoretical issues regarding the framework for web services using ontology.

The fundamental technology to the b2b e-commerce framework is Registry. Although Registries have developed, it is yet difficult to apply in actual e-business . That is, the e-business information was stored in physically and/or logically distributed and heterogeneous Registries. And Registry uses the keyword-based search to discovery the information stored. But, the keyword-based search technology can't provide the discovery the business information necessary for parties and trading partners. As spreading the understand of this problem, it requires the technologies for the integration of distributed and various Registries and the systematic definition and intelligent discovery of the e-business information. In this paper we propose the architecture of intelligent and integrated e-business registry system for solving these problems . This system composed of the Registry Integration Query Manager for integrating various registries and the Intelligent Registry Agent providing the systematic organization and discovery of e-business information.

RSS is a core component of Web 2.0 which is expected to lead the most important innovation in the new IT environment. In that sense, it is actively utilized to distribute Web contents in various areas such as news, blog, multimedia, medical information, and conference and journal information. Also, it is expected to be a major effective marketing tool in electronic commerce domain. In the paper, we analyzed the problems of current utilization of RSS in domestic shopping malls, and suggest requirements for the effective use of RSS in electronic commerce. Furthermore, we proposed various issues and answers on the implementation of the requirements, and designed the intelligent RSS framework for electronic commerce based on the issues. Syntactic and semantic interoperability between the RSS service provider and the user is one of the most important issues in the framework. We suggested how to implement the interoperability based on Semantic Web technologies.

Recently Web services have become a key technology which is indispensable for e-business. Due to its ability to provide the desired information or service regardless of time and place, integrating current application systems within a single business or between multiple businesses with standardized technologies are realized using the open network and Internet. However, the current Web Services Retrieval Systems, based on text oriented search are incapable of providing reliable search results by perceiving the similarity or interrelation between the various terms. Currently there are no web services retrieval models containing such semantic web functions. This research work is purported for solving such problems by designing and implementing an extended Semantic Web Services Retrieval Model that is capable of searching for general web documents, UDDI and semantic web documents. Execution result is proposed in this paper and its efficiency and accuracy are verified through it.
